A smile was given to them both, and Gene put the leaves in Shun's cup to steep for a good, long while - the Tiger seemed like he needed something pretty strong. A few goji berries were added for sweetness, to keep the edge off.
As for Riley, she poured hot water into a separate cup before asking, "What kind of tea, Tortoise? I have quite a bit."

Please, my dear, serve me whatever you are having. Anything will be delicious made by your hands, I am confident.
She quirked her head at Shun. Ah, but he was starting conversation with her. How pleasant. She supposed he wanted to get to know his travelling companion a bit more.
My life was spent in the cleansing. We read from the enlightened books, we prayed daily for our weak souls, and we fasted often in honor of the heavens. We meditated for many months at a time, to achieve enlightenment. Our usefulness, my friend, is in our ability to transcend the senses and read the human soul. Her eyes slit just slightly, as she stared at him knowingly.

A faint blush crept onto Gene's face at the compliment as she bowed her head slightly, grinning just a bit. So flattering, really...
"Thank you..." She whispered, pouring the hot water out of the tempered cup and tossing in chamomile and orange peels. "I'm making you an orange chamomile, to help relax. I'm sure this is all very hectic for you."
Noting that Shun's tea had steeped a while, she called out to the Tiger. "Shun, your tea is ready." A soft smile was given as she sipped at her own, thankful for the lull.
A nap would be nice, too.

[ Entering the Kingdom ]
Jerking awake, Etzer breathed out sharply as he sat up in a quick manner, patting himself where he knew he'd felt he was wounded. One moment he'd been attacked and viciously ripped apart by falling on sharp weapons, and the next moment...
... he was just fine.
The Kingdom had protected him, just like the Voice said it would.
Pressing his hands to his bare chest, Etzer could swear that he still felt the aftereffects of the wounds, and shuddered in horror at the memory of them. He felt no actual pain at this point, but just imagining it... he wanted to get his mind from it.
Standing up from his bed, Etzer moved to different places, attempting to find the King, to tell her that he tried his best, and just ... failed miserably. He had let her down, and guilt weighed on his conscience.
He ended up near Rosy and Spinar, glancing to them briefly as he adjusted his coat, giving a warm smile. He didn't want to wait in silence and look awkward doing so, but he extended a hand towards them with ease.
"Good day. I'm Etzer. Wonderful to make your acquaintance." He didn't recognize either of them, assuming them to be part of the fallen silver kingdom, but he hoped they would stay nonetheless.

Looking away from Spinar as she heard voice, she glance upwards as she smiles to the one standing before them. at his introduction, she shifts away from Spinar before she stood. Brushing her own hands off onto her silver dress, she extends it as she gives the young man a gentle smiles.
"Rosmiera, but your welcome to call me Rosy. Its a pleasure to meet you Etzer." she turns her head as she nods to her friend behind her "That is Spinar, just be careful around him. He tends to be lazy." she was only teasing about the last part, finding herself even laughing as she turns back to Etzer.

[Enter]
She's a great stone lion. A great stone lion. Great stone lion. Stone-
Lizzy's eyelids fluttered open, and she sat up, pressing one hand to her chest. Her throat felt dry, and her brow was creased with worry as she lowered her gaze to the ground; her King had trusted her with one task... She had just that one job, and yet she had failed. Any miasma she took back with her was an accident, and there shouldn't be such flimsy accidents in such a wonderful kingdom.
She sighed, and laid back down, eyes closed; perhaps she was being too hard on herself... She would do better next time. She was sure that there would be a next time for the Red Kingdom.

Terra looked up, hearing that the tea had been messed up. Her eyes widened, and she looked at Clyde again (because its always his fault, hur hur) then looked at the box-- Looked at Gene-- Looked at the box. She was so confusedddd!! After a second of looking around, though, she got up and headed for Gene with the box in hand. "Honorable Tortoise," she said, bowing and holding out the box. "I have found this during my mission. I ask that you hold it as I get you supplies from the palace? If there is something you need?" Then she looked up with hopeful eyes and whispered, "I fear the hunter might try to eat it if I look away." She was very srsface over this idea. VERY.

[Entering!]
Thannas currently hadn't a care in the world.
"Helloes, everyone!" When he emerged back in the Red Kingdom, his good eye lit up, the young man beaming with success. He'd done it! And he hadn't died either (a fact that would likely embolden him for some time to come)! Honestly he was absolutely thrilled that he had accomplished something of use for his new friends...and even though he didn't know all of them just yet, he was determined to remedy that fact. Looking 'round, he rubbed at his bumps and bruises with a soft sigh, something distant and almost dreamy clouding his expression. He needed to find the King. She, after all, was the one who could give him permission...
...and allow him to call this place Home. Kaiyumi PERMISSION TO BOARD, MA'AM?

Slowly eating the dumpling, Shun listened to Riley, furrowing his brow at what she had to say. "Which explains how you know what a terrible man I am," he said flatly. Yeah. Prior to today, he recalled those times where she recoiled from him and such. Shaking his head, he soon looked towards Gene as she said that his tea was done. "Thank you," he said quietly while getting up to fetch his cup. Once he had it, he returned back to the shade. His gaze befell those who had come from the silver kingdom for the time being. And it was then that he fell rather silent as he thought to himself about this or that. Would they remain here? If so, it likely meant they were to go up against former comrades and allies. He took a sip of his tea.

It was a sight to be seen. Like many of the others returning to the palace gardens, the Phoenix's feet dragged over the stone pathway towards those that gathered with food and drink. She looked quite disheveled; lacking shoes, hair dangling out of place from her once pristine, stylized up-do. Patting at the boa over her shoulders, releasing another puff of silver tower remnants into the air, Levi scanned over the entire court. Her voice lifted, evening as she went on through her summary. Everyone, I have some news. Some of you have seen the condition of the Silver Kingdom's Tower. The structure is now as dead as the city itself, I'm afraid. With the onslaught of other kingdoms flooding it's already crumbling floors, it has fallen in leaving a gaping hole.
However- the fall had not harmed me. Something in the depths below- water. It ceased my descent. Odder still was a doorway. A door of decorated frame bookended by etchings on the walls of the old one king. Coughing with a dry throat from the burden of her journey, Levi strived to go on with strength and confidence. A voice. A very effeminate voice spoke to those below. It mentioned relics divided among the seven kings; these were once of the old king and held great power. Somewhere is a tome... The Queen shifted her weight, trying to keep the movement as unseen as possible. A Tome of knowledge; a relic of destruction. She watched their faces for reactions, pausing for questions and clarification about what she'd just said. Quote: ** SUP PEEPS!** Levi will get into regular convo as soon as she's cleared up this issue about a tome. Ask away if you want your chara knowing about what went on down there more specifically <3 She'll answer with whatever she can. ALSO: -she's missing shoes -her throat is dry -her hair is a mess -clothes likely tattered If you want your character to help a brother out V: feel free to do so <333 lol

It was a pleasure to see so many people enjoying themselves in the garden. Everyone had their own injuries but people were still lively and merry with tea and stories. To Damien, the gardens was normally just a quiet place for work, the change of pace was as refreshing as a spring breeze on the morning dew.
Specifically, Levi's story gave him enough pause from watering the nearby daffodils as the talk of what lied beneath the rubble of the once proud silver kingdom. It was baffling to think such a place was hidden underneath. It wasn't long till the hound decided to speak up after the dramatic pause. "Do you think perhaps, the voice is looking for that, and using us to find it?"
The goal of the voice was still left up in the air, why all the destruction. On the other hands, did it even have a goal in mind. The gardener decided to clear his throat and continue on. "What else did you find?"
He wasn't going to ask if she was ok. maybe she got a bump on the noggin on her way down too.

Shun snapped from his thoughts as Levi returned, looking incredibly disheveled.
"...You look like s**t," he noted while staring at her, though he listened to what she had to say. Another voice? There was more than one voice? Apart from that, the mention of a tome of destruction was rather interesting.
"...Perhaps if we could find this tome.. it would be a key to our victory.." he murmured.
"Go have some tea and relax yourself. You've done well, honorable Phoenix."

Shaking her hand, Etzer bowed appropriately. "Rosy is a fine name." His gaze slid to Spinar and he bowed his head to that one as well, realizing that the other was jesting.
"Are you two good friends?" He didn't know what it was like to have a good friend, having grown up mostly alone.

The vase filled with carnations began to show signs of passing as the hound fiddled with it, giving the display a bit more water. It was no fair that they had the delight in green tea while the cut flowers got stale water. "Would you really set loose that power on the other kingdoms Shun?" he spoke up again, Ethics had to be questioned. The notion left a bitter taste in his mouth, The idea of just openly using it as a tool of war instead of self defense. "For all we know, it might have been that power that caused the collapse of the silver kingdom."

Well that was...
Wait, what had she been doing? Oh, yes, making tea for Riley and taking a box for Terra. Yes, that's what was happening. Giving the handmaiden a serene smile, she took the box from her hand. "Of course, my dear. No need to use my title - I am on the same plane as you."
When Riley's tea had been steeped enough, she called out to the purple woman, as she also had to work on Levi's tea.
Shun was right, the Phoenix did look like s**t. She would make the woman another ginger tea, maybe with a few hints of ginseng to restore her energy.
