Agent 8 let out a shrieking laugh as the man she threatened chose death.
"I was going to kill you anyway."

Able to see in all directions, the armored woman looked at both Hath and the wizard simultaneously as turned away.
"Commander, execute that man and come with me."
She would walk towards the edge of the roof.

"No."
"What?" She turned around to face Hath.
"I will not help you destroy innocent lives!"
The woman would stare at him for several seconds in silence. The fact that he had the audacity to refuse her orders dumbfounded her for a moment.

"...."
With a sudden lunge she would dash forward and close the distance between herself and the commander. Jerking her right arm back and hurling forward with a massive punch. Enough to tear the foolish man in half.

CLANG!

However, a strange wall of golden light blocked her. Suddenly rising off the ground, she would continue pushing against the shield causing the commander to slide towards the far edge of the roof with her. Bolts of electricity fired off as her victim's defenses struggled to protect him.

As he reached the edge of the roof, she ceased and stood straight. Her left hand would suddenly snap forward in a quick, deadly punch that would shatter the golden wall and send him flying over the edge.
He would probably die. This pleased her.

Turning around quickly, she faced the wizard.
"Well that just leaves you and me."
She held up 3 fingers as she listed things off once again.
"What are you? A magician? I will tear your head off and... Combine it with... Your rib cage. No wait. I'll do that with.. Your intestines and stomach.. Or something! Because you'll be alive and it will hurt more!"
She started running at him across the roof.

"Do you even think before you talk!?"

"Doesn't matter, she is already dead"

The wizard retorted to the woman's comments as the haze of his delusion began to lift. A once neutral expression twisted into a snarl as pearly whites grind together. "You really are a piece of s**t", the man said as he stared with judgmental eyes upon the mechanical women.
She had made her move coming at the wizard at a blistering pace, as his head fell a tilt. "I won't allow you to waste anymore of my time" he whispered as the soft white glow around his cane became tainted with black ink. The dark slug corrupting the once pure mana as the grip tightened upon the cane. Seals revealed themselves upon the surface of the cane as shattered versions of their former selves.

Still treated the cane like a katana the wizard attempted to draw the sword from the sheath. The result ending in a transformation of the wizard's wand as black magic poured out from the newly formed weapon. A black katana with a glass like blade emerged from a sheath swallowed up in the shadows of the night. Garasu-oni the demon blade awoke with a resounding roar, black flames pouring out of his sheath and washing over the approaching robotic form. Acting like a acid the flames would corroded the metal suit and coat the body in what appeared to be a black tar even before the glass like blade would be capable of cleaving through the body. Right hand clenching the flame spewing sheath as the left performed a wide arcing diagonal slash towards the approaching figure.

"Render their bodies to ribbons Oni-Garasu"

Retreating after the wave of flames would save the woman from the dangers of the blade's edge, but now that the Garasu-oni had been drawn death was inedible. "Count your blessings woman..."

"Do you even think before you talk?"
"Ha! No!"
She answered without thinking about it and continued at the enemy.
He was obviously a magic based fighter. She cared not. With a red flash, her kinetic thrusters activated and closed the distance between the two of them.
As the staff magically morphed into a sword, she grabbed the wrist wielding it.
With titanic strength, she would wrench the arm to the side refusing him the opportunity to slash at her.
She would thrust her free arm at his chest, with the plan to breach the rib cage and tear out his heart.

Cooldown: 1/2

Kinetic thrusters: Allows the user to propel themselves a short distance at a very quick speed.

Far below, Hath had managed to grab onto the side of the building. He was near on level with the 14th floor. Defending from Spectaria's attack depleted nearly all of his spirit energy, things were grim for the commander; if he did not absorb energy or get help soon, he would likely fall to his death.

Cooldown: 1/9999

As soon as Aveline leaves the hotel, she happens to hear Hath hit the side of the building (something hitting glass makes a very distinctive sound), and looks up to him.
"What an idiot; I'll go let the hotel staff know..." Aveline thinks as she turns aorund to go back inside and tell somebody at the front desk. Unfortunately, for now she doesn't know about the fight on the roof.

The wizard couldn't tell if the woman clad in armor was just plain dumb or annoyingly overconfident. She had shown impressive strength towards the stranger's light based defense and uncanny speed when applying the thrusters upon her suit, and even thought she had manage to prevent the Garasu-oni from leaving its sheath. She had willingly placed a restraining hand upon the wizard to form a point of contract as she drew back for a devastating blow from her claws.

Mistake

A nearly instantaneous response to the physical contact would send a violent surge of energy through the body of the woman would had willing grasped a body pushing out several amps and volts of electrical juice. The feeling would certainly match up and then surpass that of being struck by a bolt of lightning.
A magical assault formed from the sacrifice of the wizard mana charge from earlier in the evening. Taking the form as electrical current that flooded over and into the mechanical suit as a defensive against a threatening claw. Designed to do two things, the electrical current aimed towards the nerves in the body to induce pain and damage muscle control (momentarily). While also charging the two bodies in contact with a magnetic field of similar polarities causing them to reject each other completely. The end result being a separation of the body bodies and a painful shock to the metal dressed woman.

Thrown back from the magnetic field's push, Ea would take the moment of division to completely draw Garasu-oni from its sheath. The black essence once sealed within the sheath pouring out like a toxic sludge, before catching blaze upon the rooftop. Flames spiraled up into the air, rising off the edge of the blade to form the head of a dragon like beast. The wizard swiped his sword in the air, sending the head of the dragon formed of flames towards the woman.

0/5 Wizard Charges
3/5 Garasu Charges
1/5 Garasu Infect Counters

Garasu-oni: Katana containing the soul of a demon, empowered by spirit of the beast the blade output a great deal of magical energy on every swings (cost 2-3 charges per swing)just to maintain a controlled state (charges restore 2 per post, 3 in sword if sheathed). A blade constructed of glass, the weapon is has a moment of weakness after discharging an attack (1 or less charges). Allowing the blade to be shattered when meeting the steel of another sword (or equal counter part). Thankfully the user can reconstruct the blade at will, but until the energy returns to the blade it will shattered again.

-Corrupting the users magical energy and consuming it, one loses the ability to cast magic after one post holding the unsheathed katana. Their mana consumed in order to feed the blades own magical attacks. After 5 posts of an unsheathed Garasu, all mana is consumed and the blade must be sealed or else 10% of one's max heath pool or life force is consumed per post.

Something was occurring on the roof of the hotel, but Ellie couldn't see what as she peered out the window of the hotel room. Twirling a strand of red around a finger, she leaned against the glass, eyes narrowed as they focused outside.

Whatever was happening, she could feel the power being thrown about, and wondered if this was somehow connected to the chaos that was ensuing around gtb.

"Probably some of the locals getting restless."

Damon walked up behind Ellie, putting his hand on her back and glancing out. He had learned that it was better to not get involved in things that didn't affect him. Kept life less complicated.

      "What's on your mind?"

PostPosted: Tue Jan 29, 2013 8:35 pm

"Nothing really, am just ready for things to get started again. One step closer to this whole thing being finished."

Ellie replied softly, tilting her head back so she could stare up at him, her turquoise eyes studying his face. It seemed he had healed pretty well from his last fight, but she knew that the next round would probably be just as painful. "Have you figured out who you are fighting next? Or even if you are fighting..."

"Nothing on it yet. I'm not really thinking about it."

There were more pressing things on the psion's mind, such as his fiance, his daughter and the on-goings at the Black Sands. Canaan and Ross were capable enough to make sure that the show kept right on running, and that the murders going on around there would get solved.

"I want to marry you before our child is born. That's what has been on my mind these days. Your parents seem to approve of me now."

"Really they do? I can imagine my father does, but how did you win over my mother?" She asked, turning from the window to face him, giving him a skeptical look. "She isn't the easiest person to win over. Which reminds me, you never really did go into detail what you two discussed that one night at Black Sand."

She had a feeling that Terra's visit was more then just to have a nice chit chat with her fiance.

They were back to this then?

Damon had thought he had covered this well enough. Nevertheless he put on his best poker face. "She wanted to talk to me about our kid. She wants to be a part of his or her life. Because when it is born, the kid will have a lot of power."

Again, Damon wasn't telling any lies, but he was neglecting the entire store. This sounded compete enough that he figured Ellie would buy it. Once the child was born, he could explain the curse to her. And then they could go from there.
PostPosted: Wed Jan 30, 2013 12:16 pm

"....." For a silent moment she stared, eyes narrowed as her eyes locked with his.

But she believe it, ignoring that nagging feeling, "Really? She believes that our child's power will be that strong that she will need to be constantly observing? I doubt it will be something that we cannot handle."

Ellie couldn't imagine it, she herself was far from powerful, no where near the caliber of her mother or father. But she assumed that their child would probably take more after Damon then.

"How can she even know that?"

"Ellie, there is something I haven't told you. Stephania is far more powerful than she knows, and that I let on. The gap between her full potential and mine is as wide as the ocean. Our child... will be even stronger than that. I believe your mother can, perhaps, sense this in some way. How? I do not know."

Damon moved towards a chair, sitting down and reclining back. He had been keeping all of this a secret until now. Mostly because he didn't want to accept the fact that his children were potentially walking atomic bombs.

The only thing he had ever wanted was normalcy in his family. Damon let out a long sigh.

"I don't believe they should know just how strong they really are. Otherwise they might not respect authority or discipline. I feel it was the right time to tell you."
PostPosted: Wed Jan 30, 2013 7:31 pm

As Damon spoke, she at first listened quietly, a curious look in her eyes. But the mention of keeping their children in the dark about their power made her eyes narrow, and lips curve into a frown. "That's just stupid." She said, her arms crossing beneath her chest as she scowled at him. "Why do that to them? Should they find out that we have been keeping this from them their trust in us would be broken. "

Ellie took a calming breath, and shook her head slowly. "No, I disagree. They need to know, and they need to learn. If we raise them right, they will learn to respect others, and wield their power properly. They will be disciplined, learn awareness, self defense, concentration and focus. And most of all be balanced. You don't know how it feels to know deep down there is something more within you, but you have no idea what it is, or what it can do. Its frightening..."

Trailing off, her gaze settled on the ground, shoulders sagging and a defeated look crossed her features.

Damon stared into Ellie's eyes as she spoke, hearing the strength in her words. Her mother would have been proud. But Damon still felt like he had a valid point in not telling his children the true extent of their power. Why risk them knowing the temptation of wielding nearly unstoppable power?

When she finished speaking, Damon remained silent for a long moment. As he often did after being told off.

      "I do understand."

      Again, silence.

"Fine. I give in. We'll raise them right."

For once in his life, Damon found his mind blank. Not because he doubted his own points of view, but because Ellie had made equally valid points. The only reason he had gone down the wrong path was because he never had anyone guiding him.

      "Stephania will be... difficult."
