The things I love about this shop are: Books, Catching a glimpse of new books, Working Independently most of the time, Catching certain things when I sneak a peak at manuscripts (I'm no editor after all), Making Clients happy. The things I hate about this shop are: Dealing with pushy clients, Paperwork, Answering stupid questions, Having to hold a long drawn out conversation, and Messy workspaces. Oh, yes, there’s something else I need to tell you: I know I was supposed to apply for this one long ago. As such she was probably 19 / 20 when she actually applied.

Employee ApplicationHello, my name is: Susan McIntyreI would like to apply as a clerk at Slug and Jigger's Apothecary The things I love about this shop are: -getting to work with ingredients. -being able to use some potions and herb knowledge -learning about magic while here -straightening and organizing stocks -the regular customers. The things I hate about this shop are: -when ingredients get misplaced where they aren't supposed to be! evil -not being able to actually make my own potions -keeping track of different sales -people who don't know what they want -know it alls who come in looking for one specific thing that we don't have and getting mad at me for it. Oh, yes, there’s something else I need to tell you: I might be a student still but I've studied as much as I can about herbs and potions and know how to process them. I'm clean and organized, and I'm willing to work any non-school hours. (She's also a squib but she's not saying that XD) This would have been for ~late March 2050.

Owner ApplicationHello, my name is Margaux Lévesque) I would like to purchase the jewellery vendor (to be named: All that Glitters) How did I come to get this shop? Well... some parents give a few galleons to their children as a graduation gift, my father obviously treasures me and my talents enough to give me prime vending location to sell some of my designs and other designs that inspire me. The things I love about this shop are 1. seeing the excitement my customers have at my designs 2. seeing people in Diagon Alley wearing jewelry I created and sold 3. Explaining my charmed jewelry that helps give customers confidence in various ways 4. Being so close to the bustle of Diagon Alley so that I can check out cute guys passing by 5. Interacting with customers and helping them purchase a pre-made or work with them to design a piece of wearable art that they love as much as I loved creating it. The things I despise about this shop are 1. being that it is not a fully indoor location the rain and 2. always keeping an eye out for sticky fingers (how crass!), 3. dirt and dust that might show up, 4. having to clean glass of fingerprints, 5. people who like to "window shop" who couldn't even afford the cheapest jewelry that I sell. Oh yes, there's something else I need to tell you! I've been working really hard not to create jewelry with gold or diamonds, but create equally gorgeous works of art with more affordable gemstones such as rose quartz or moonstones and more affordable metals such as niobium and bronze. It is exciting because my work can be enjoyed by more people this way!

designing wands-- from thinking of a possible personality to match with and how to get the wood and core to work to figuring out the carving and polish
making the wands and putting the design into action.
judging people based off the wands that match them
the smell of wood polish
loling at mishaps from improper matches
The things I hate about this shop are:
when temperamental cores/ woods don't agree as expected-- I hate wasting materials.
organizing the too-many boxes and trying to find that one particular wand you know is there.
dealing with people....politely.
making loan plans for poor people.
cleaning up mishaps from improper matches
Oh, yes, there’s something else I need to tell you: I interned here at Ollivander's over the summer before seventh year. Was a good experience and I don't think my mess ups were too bad so I'm back. razz

After graduation, I came to the U.K. to travel and visit my cousin, but wanted to pick up some work while I was around. So I applied as a trip guide and planner for the Terror Tours and worked with the previous owner and their spouse (NPCs), learning about the area and the various existing tour packages. I loved the work and it gave me great opportunities to travel and have fun adventures, so I ended up staying longer. Just over a year after I started, the owners announced their plan to retire at the end of the year and offering to turn the business over to me. I’m honored of course, and it’s my dream job. But it’s a lot of responsibility and a lot to wrap up in three months! The things I love about this shop are -scouting for new adventures -planning people’s vacations or expeditions -going with customers as a tour guide and finding out about them on the journey. -learning more about places -eeking out free time on a trip to do one more spontaneous thing The things I despise about this shop are -customers who keep changing their minds -haggling with shops and locations for better prices -customers who are woefully unprepared or overburdened for an adventure or too shy -thinking of quippy things for guide presentations -there is always too much to do! We need more staff! Oh yes, there's something else I need to tell you! Would have applied last year (Summer 2052) as a trip guide and planner.

Employee ApplicationHello, my name is: Louise Ellis-HallI would like to apply as a Barista at I Like You A Latte The things I love about this shop are: playing around with different flavors, doing latte foam art, complementary drinks, I can do small performances when its slow, I don't really have a "uniform" which is awesome. The things I hate about this shop are: snobby customers, when an order is needlessly complicated, I find coffee beans in the weirdest of places, I'm on my feet literally ALL day, no matter how many times I wash them my hands always end up being sticky. Oh, yes, there’s something else I need to tell you: Sometimes I could possibly bring my kalimba or guitar for work and can play for the cafe, maybe?
