Alexander let several parts that might have actually made sense with what he currently held in his hands right now go by before he finally reached out and plucked up something that just had no place what so ever. With a bit of a smirk he shuffled off to sit down and create his masterpiece. Of crap. Really he just thought that with that many feet, the caterpillar might like a pair of "shoes".

Decidedly not paying attention to anything that was said along the way to the toy factory thing, Makoto lifted his eyes when everyone around him started getting to work. Oh, this was the part where physical movement was involved, right?
Ugh.

Okay! The last part! Canon wasted no time, and immediately lunged at the first available part. And missed. Oh well, she still had a head this time! With a little fiddling the head was attached to the body, and Canon stared at the toy, willing it to do something interesting. Nothing. Hmmm, maybe that hole in the body was keeping it from acting? Still, the stuffing spilling out made it look like a wound, so the Skark thought some little girl or boy would like this one. Snorting at the ghoul's comment, Mei reached for the first body that came her way. It was.. a caterpillar..? A headless one of that. "Hah hah, every funny." She grinned, making her way towards the final conveyor belt. She could tell that some of the elves were starting to get annoyed by students constantly butchering all of their hard work. Perhaps it was time for a break soon..?
"Is it just me, or are some of these elves giving us the stink eye?"

Okay, this time! Canon crouched low, and pounced at the first head that went sliding by on the belt. She ended up nabbing the same head as last time, which was fine with her. Sophie mimicked Xiu's seriousness and gave her a small salute, snickering through lips she tried to keep from smiling. "I'll not let you down!" She burst into a fit of giggles, dropping her arm to her side. So this is what having a female friend was like. She could get used to this; it was fun.
Actually serious now, the ghoul's eyes widened and she grinned. "That sounds fantastic! I'm sure it'll be wonderful. I'll be sure to visit every day." She tilted her head. "You make your own tea? That's awesome! What's your favourite flavour?"Kaiyumi Yeah cause. Spoiler alert: It's all I know how to make right now LOL.

Canon wisely didn't use her tail this time around, and simply darted a hand out toward the first part she saw. Another repeat! Actually, these two parts looked like they belonged together! Giggling at her own joke a bit, Gene grabbed a body piece that corresponded with the head she'd grabbed. Eugh, awful. This wasn't scary, spooky, or even fun looking. Boooooring.

It was back to the assembly belt, and Lizzy found herself with a blue head as her first toy part. It kind of looked... Really sad.

Mort was only just beginning to pat himself on the back for maneuvering the murky waters of this conversation with more ease than he was normally prepared for, when he hit the snag. The sore spot. Jack damn it. It was clearly sensitive, but at the same time Mort had not been present for the events Riley was alluding to; he had been preoccupied on different isle, a different battle, and in the grip of a very different rage. He almost was burning to know if she too had become a fog monster, if she had known the pleasure of dying over and over again only to come back the same mindless monster like the Haunted House had repurposed him...
Or...maybe that was too much for a first conversation. He was already pushing the envelope with Insanity as a starting point, which had been uncharacteristically blunt of him to begin with.
Mort passed her a sympathetic look and sheepishly huddled over to grab a horrendously cheerful head; busying his hands had always been the solution to distress for him. "M'sorry," he mumbled. "Know what s'like to lose close friend. B-But, ah...If isn't dead n' isn't here, means must be somewhere, yes? Always chance can find way back. Or other way 'round, if can manage transportable cure." He observed the overly cheerful smile, then gave Riley a smaller, bracing one of his own. "Which m'hoping will end up being case."

A trip to conveyor belt B yielded her nothing, and she could only hope for something good from the next conveyor belt... Unless human scarelings enjoy having only a single toy part as a present.

Although it wasn't much, Lizzy managed to grab a handful of petals from Conveyor belt C - better than nothing!
