Me too! I was so worried that they might go somewhere bad. I'm just glad that the rescue is foster based enough that I got to meet the new owners! I know a lot of places don't do it like that.
I thought they'd think I was weird too! So, when I did start it, I only shared it with a select few. My sister was a bit offended that I hadn't told her, when she found it a week or so later... I didn't have the heart to tell her that I assumed she'd mock me forever about it!

Maki fit herself into a open shoebox. She can also find various crevices in the closet to fit into as well.

Dang it all, I just wrote a long post, then Nightshade stomped across the keyboard and it's gone forever. So this post will probably be a lot shorter, ever so sorry.
The lady that took the kittens, when she came to meet them, I asked after a while whether she thought she'd like them in her family ... she looked kind of rueful and admitted that she'd really made up her mind before she even met them! I'm so glad I spammed the cat rescue group with cute photos of them both together. xd
It's almost like he's got a permanent little smirk of superiority. Which is funny because he's such a sweet natured, marshmallow of a cat... although he has taken to messing with Tansy's head lately... he walks up really close and sits and stares at her her, while she gets all upset and hissy. *sigh*

Yeah.. she just got her yearly check up last week.....I ask the Vet how is Maki doing and she said she's in great shape..except for one thing....
"OMG your cat is TOO FLUFFY! ans proceeded squee hug her." xd
And Meepers is doing great too. She got kisses from the vet clinic staff for being a pretty kitty .
Yay! And I want to squee and hug her. D: And rub my face all over her belly fluffs.
And I love knowing my pets are cared for. :3 Freyja might have to go back. D: They gave her a yearly URI shot and shes developed a cough and sneezing. *facepalm*

We ... should draw lines. I've been terribly slack about what cats can and can't do in this house. The main problem is that I just get way too much entertainment from them. Nightshade decided my breakfast smelt awesome this morning, and turned into a small homing cat... and I guess I should have moved him into another room or something, but I was laughing so hard... when my parents visit, and a cat jumps up on the table or bench, I lift them down and tell them they know they shouldn't be doing that. I think Mum probably realises just how slack we are about cat boundaries, but Dad doesn't, and he tends to be the more judgemental one, so all is well.
It is a pity you didn't get both, but if you hadn't had all that one-on-one time with your Freyja girl, maybe she wouldn't have turned out the gorgeous cat that she is! I know you've had lots of aggression issues with her and all.
I wish Tansy would just head bop! Minstrel really doesn't look like he's being aggressive, it's more like just an approach to let her decide where to take the interaction... and she always chooses defensiveness. I really, really, hope that when she's desexed she might be a little less on edge around the others.
I dont mind cats on the counter because thats wehre Freyja gets fed.
The only place theyre NOT allowed is on the stove. O.o
And her temprement should definently improve after she gets fixed.

It's funny because our bench is such a mess at the moment, every time Tansy jumps up there, something spooks her and she bolts. Apparently bananas are scary - and apples! Definitely not on the stove! That's just far too scary.
We feed Minstrel on the bench in the bathroom, so Bloss doesn't come in and eat it, and the other two currently eat in the spare room with the door closed. We really do need to swap Tansy onto adult food though, and I have no idea where we're going to find another dog safe place to put a food bowl! Particularly as they all need to be separate while eating or Nightshade eats Minstrel's and Minstrel eats the kitten food.
I'm hanging out for her op. I don't know when it's going to happen though... I know the cat rescue is short on money right now and so she may not be done until I pay for her adoption, but I want to adopt Nightshade first because I want his op done before he works out that he's male!
