Shun frowned at Thackery. Why did he feel compelled to stay? In any case, a different question sprang to mind once he motioned towards the lumbering figure that was approaching. That definitely did not make him feel much better about things. He shot a glance towards Poke as she asked why. "I think it would be safe to assume that he knows something about that figure... something dangerous," he murmured. His attention shifted back to Thackery. "Is there something we should know about this?"Knowing now would be better than when it was too late.

"Hmm.." Bul was looking rather distastefully at the few students starting to stand around together in defense-Shun in particular. At the sign of trouble, Shun was unpredictable to the half beast. As the main folly behind the capturing of their first hunter, Bul had reason to be wary.
"Hey," Bul whispered to Mei. "Hey come down here real quick-" he had something to ask. "You know how there's usually hunters showing up to these hoe-downs, no matter what psychopathic force is behind them right? Think we should stay in case uh... you know who needs our help?"

Still following the voices, Aksaja finally found the group that seemed to be gathering and moved closer to join up with them. "I'm glad I managed to find someone in this damn fog," he muttered, trying to sound like it wasn't bothering him. His normally dark skin had a pale undertone to it, though, and golden eyes were just a bit too wide. "Does . . . anyone have a plan?"

Calder had felt that strange fog, to call to come home, and he held himself, whining and letting out long, drawn out, equine whines as he stood close to Amrita, looking around like an agitated horse, nostrils flaring and ears up. His hoof would every so often tap the ground, wanting it all to go away, yet he felt a urge in his legs to run. To run home, but run away. It was being somewhere he wanted to be, but not where he wanted to be, and he felt terrified at the end of it. He knew this feeling. Back on that island in the cornfields. In that pod with the hunters. It meant bad things. Very bad things.
Then Amrita didn't move, and Calder breathed out, and he looked at Mot as the boy touched him. Calder was very real and very worried.
Then, just like that, Christof yanked him. "No one touched her, Christof. I didn't see anyone touch her. I just went over and she was holding out her arms for me. Then she....she just stopped." Did he bring something to her? Was this on him.
He turned to the girl, and taking her face, he looked at her eyes. "Amrita? Amrita? Come on, please say something?!" He whined, wanting to shake her just as hard as Christof did, but not wanting to hurt her. "We should go somewhere. Find Nurse Cricket. I don't like the fog. I don't, Chrsitof!"

Even though she'd been tired, Maggie had decided to stay and help clean up. Then the fog rolled in...
As a natural predator, hardly anything ever set Maggie ill at ease. This was different. This felt...dangerous. A lot more dangerous than she could be right now.
Hearing the voices of other students, she stumbled around to find someone, anyone, but it seemed like she kept getting further away rather than closer. This was so unsettling, so nerve-wracking. She felt helpless, like a newborn cub.
The shapes loomed over her, making her unease grow to almost panic. This wasn't good. This was very much not good.

Why was Thackery so intent on staying back? Or rather, what was it that he was so against? The baku's expression became concerned, and she cast a glance back at Shun when the reaper voiced the question that she was certain many of them were wondering.
But ultimately...Thackery wouldn't really stay behind if the rest of them tried to get out of here, right? The idea of leaving one person alone in a potentially dangerous setting made the ghoul uneasy--she didn't want any more "incidents" if it could be help. Xiu shifted her weight from one foot to the other, her brows furrowed in thought as she stared at the boil contemplatively. Finally, she reached out to tap his shoulder.
"If you...if you really end up deciding to stay back, would you like me to stay with you? It dangerous for one person to just wander around by themselves." And she wouldn't have to worry about Poke, Shun, Chryses, or the others so much if they all remained together, right?
Nothing Yet WOW THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUSLY LONG

Hearing Yuki, Astra hovered backwards untill she was close enough to talk with him properly. "It's the fog" She said to him, "It makes us all go insane. Sometimes it shows us our worst fears, and other times it makes us feel really...homesick" She wasn't sure how else to explain it. "I don't know much else, but I do know it has something to do with the hunters. They're usually involved somehow." She then felt herself pulled back by Yuki, urging her to leave this place. She wanted to go, truly she did, but she wasn't sure if it was a good idea. "I don't think we should Yuki..." she said sadly. "I-if we do, we might get seperated from everyone, or even worse, lost in the fog. If....Once it goes away, we can get out of here" She told him, hoping her words would be true .

Thackery tried to not be frustrated with them for not just listening. He would have asked questions too, were he in their position. He drew in a deep, shaky breath, and let it out slowly, still struggling to calm down. Nobody was supposed to find out. It was supposed to be a secret. But the Cerberus couldn't come up with anything that was both untrue and convincing so, with another whimper, he broke his resolve. "Because...because I think it's Ash. And he's sick," he finally surrendered, choking on the admission. "I don't want any of you to get hurt, and I can't let you hurt him. So just..." He couldn't look at them anymore. He stared at his feet, fidgeting with the phone in his hands, wishing for the first time in his life that he didn't have to have their attention. "...just don't." This was a far worse situation than he ever might have imagined, and it didn't seem to be getting better any time soon.

Zar had come out simply for a bit of tidying, just something to take the edge off his more organisation based instincts. This was far from what he'd expected, everything felt wrong, there was something monumentally awful looming on the very cusp of notice. He wasn't normally one for omen or portents but there was a discord, a raw note in the symphony of the world. All good sense told him he should leave, should go back to his dorm room, his sanctuary of order and regulation and absolutely not look back. But that was an emotional reaction, one which made little sense. He'd scheduled himself to be here, there was no reason why he should let this oddness or any other affect his planning.
There were others around, he could hear them speaking together - he almost wanted to hurry to their side, someone, anyone. Simply to have someone to tell him this deep foreboding was nothing but the death throes of an over-active imagination. But he resisted, his father's words ringing clear in his memory, a demon who cannot stand alone should not stand at all.

Alexander was feeling so ill at ease. He was listening to the others, watching their actions but at the same time still casting a glance around towards the others that were beginning to group together. That was good though, because there was safety in numbers. Numbers were comforting. His eye landed on a figure that he thought he recognized, and he called out to it, his voice strained, like that of somebody who was frightened, though he had no idea what he was so frightened of. Weren't they supposed to be the scary ones? "Maggie! Maggie, is that you? Come here!" He was sure it was her, but she was all alone. She needed to get her feline a** over here now. Artymus come and join the fun that is a giant group!

To Bul's request, Mei lowered herself more to Bul's level, leaning in close to hear what he had to say. It was hard enough to hear over the voices, let alone all the students starting to panic, that she was practically straining to hear what he was saying.
At Bul's question, the doll blinked. She knew exactly who he was referring too, but wasn't sure what how to reply. "Maybe..I think we should just wait it out and see what happens first." It was best to be cautious around their current group, not to mention, she didn't want to rush into doing something she might greatly regret in the future. "We should keep an eye out anyways though." There was no telling 'they' would even be here. Their was a high possibility, but this felt..different.

"Xiu, you're not staying behind," Shun said sternly. The Reaper's gaze flicked over to the other dragon that approached, watching him quietly for a moment or so. But his attention didn't linger long there. "...Sick?" he repeated while looking at Thackery. "Sick, how?"The mention of not letting them hurt him or vice versa did not bode well. However, he was getting a couple ideas of what might be the issue here.. especially considering the fog. If he was right, then they were in quite a bit of trouble here. Then again, would it really do much good? "Start moving," he said to the others.

Kashiyoru had really only been pretending to clean while sneaking about, eying up all the other students. The fog rolled in and brought with it unease. Kashi's ears perked when voices called his name and he let out a growl. He managed to force the growl into a laugh but, it came out much more nervous than he would of liked.
Kashi turned his attention to a group of students gathering not too far from where he was currently floating. They were hard to make out, just silhouette and shapes with, somewhat, familiar voices. He made his way closer.

Amphi automatically gripped Roch's hand as a support as a wave of recognition and nausea hit. it was like being on the hunter island again, already she could hear machines buzzing. With the students forming now, she knew most of them and kept herself close to Roch and Danny...While still managing to reach out for Xiu's hand.
If anybody she wanted more to stay with her beside Roch and Danny...It was Xiu, and she hoped the ghoul understood that there wasn't much else to do but stay with them.

At first, she was kicking token wrappers and now Bea was stumbling in the fog, tripping over her own feet trying to walk towards the group of students. It felt like she just went through an emotional roller coaster. "Hello? Where are you guys?" reaching both arms in front of her.
