"Soooo that's it then." Yes, that is it Solia. Leave them be. It wasn't enough for her. It was a shitty answer. "Well, I'll just go ask someone else then later." She, he, waved a hand in the air. "But how I met him?" She huffed. "That's my secret to keep, just like you keep your own. I'll just say that I was alone and he found me. Because of him I'm not alone anymore." Hands on her, his, hips the siren golem grinned. "But you did answer a lot for me. So thanks Belladonna!"

"I am afraid so, yes." The witch did not relinquish the shirt, but she let the smile go for a resigned look that began to fade into something resembling concern. Especially when the creature mentioned asking others. At this the witch opened her mouth to retort, to suggest that this was a truly terrible idea when the ghoul huffed. (It was a ghoul right? Not that there was time to actually look, it appeared a bit more masculine... But then again maybe not?) Distracted by this little burst of negative emotion, Belladonna only closed her mouth and waited for an answer. When she received one, no amount of acting could cover up the way her eyes widened and the step backwards she took. With a soft fluttering the shirt fell from her hands and the witch continued to stare. No no no no no no not possible, can't happen, cannot be true."What did you say your name was again? Sol, yes? And where are you from?" With more difficulty than she had been prepared for, Belladonna managed to keep her voice even and curious sounding. Light enough to pass, but there was no retracing that step that would return her closer to the siren. If she had been able to sneak it in, the witch would have stepped further away. Something was very, very wrong.

"Sol yep! I'm from the coast. Well, sorta. Moved around a bit." A low hum echoed in her head. Leave now. Leave. Solia, move. "But hey, what's wrong?" Solia! She blinked, the voice of the siren in her head panicked. Say you are from a western flock. That Israfel was going to be a possible consort. That you were moved to find yourself a suitable new territory. Internally, none of that made sense to her. Consort what- Do it! A sigh, the red wings folded behind her back. "Um, from the west. Moved around since I was trying fo find a new territory." Mention the consort status! WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? I'll explain later but trust me Solia! Please! "He was going to be my consort." God that just sounded gross. "So." The golem shuffled. "Yeah."

Frost in the Storm was back, this time in an attempt to test his fashion skills yet again. He'd not done bad that previous times so why not try again. Maybe he was getting better after all. That or he was just lucky. As he pulled out a rather nice jacket, paired it with some loose fitting top, and then- an interesting hat. Okay, not his best, but it was outside of his comfort zone. That was a start after all.

Harrison beamed back at her, then went digging back into the clothes basket to assemble another outfit. He was determined to get it this time... he held up the clothes for Dozy to sniff, to see if he had any better sense than Harrison seemed to regarding Halloween fashion, but the little unicorn just sneezed on them.
He was so preoccupied he didn't notice the mounting tension between the booth owner and Sol.
He tried a scarf again, this time a real white silky one, to match with a purply silky shirt - both based on Dozy, he sure as hell wouldn't wear it. Then some fancy gloves and...a skirt, he guessed. With rotting flowers on it. He topped it off with a hoody and a baseball cap.
Score: 43
Quote: Gene (Harrison) is an 8ft male djinn. He is muscular and bare-chested. His skin is the color of smoke. He is wearing silky pants, soft slippers and is practically dripping with gold jewelry. He looks like he is wearing a turban. On closer inspection, it is a small, thin unicorn with swirly purple eyes.

Now it was really difficult not to make a face, not to just stop everything and gawk at the siren. This doesn't make any sense! The story is all confusing and oh Hecate what is even going ooonnnnn?!"Wrong? Oh nothing, I'm so sorry. Just remembered I forgot to tell my boilfriend something, my apologies!" She waved a hand and took a half step back toward the siren. It was the most she could muster and even that felt like too much. But still, she had to lure this thing back in if she was going to get the answers she wanted. "Territory? I'm sorry, I don't actually know much about sirens so I'm afraid I don't understand that." Which was true. That part was so easy to say because it wasn't a lie or even a fish for information. Territories, who cared about those? But at the mention of consort, the witch found her hands brought up to her chest in a bit of shock. "He was?! So did you... You must have known before... Or did something happen?" As in, did something happen and you only just now found out because you broke up? Or whatever the break up equivalent for consorts was? Momentarily the witch paused to smile at the Djinn and wave a hand at his outfit. "That's quite good! The flowers are a lovely addition." The hoodie and baseball cap, not so much, but he was trying so hard that she certainly wasn't going to bother with bringing him down about it. When she turned back to Sol, it was just in time to catch the siren's obvious look of unhappiness. Normally Belladonna would have apologized for such an awkward topic, would have suggested they move on to keep the creature from shuffling, from being so obviously uncomfortable in this situation. But knowledge was a heady thing and the witch was not going to abandon this. Not when things weren't adding up, not when something seemed so wrong and certainly not when it seemed that she could very easily be overreacting. This could entirely be a case of dramatics, of being so paranoid that she was making up things up. But it was also better to be safe than vastly sorry. iStoleYurVamps Frost get out we're having a moment Well, actually that was a really high roll. OK you can stay

Solia shrugged. Listening to what israfel was telling her. Trust him. He knew more about this stuff anyway. Territory refers to the land a siren might control and have a flock. And Consorts are considered only a possibility until they have cemented their flock. A pause. There was another. Solia just played parrot. "A territory is just a place you can have a flock, and it was a possibility, he had someone else though." She smiled. "I just want to figure out what happened is all. He's not here, so he's somewhere else. People don't vanish after all." Some do.Not helping Israfel. AyeAvast Frost can wait he is a patient ppy

"Thanks, I figured they'd look real ghouly." He took a break from outfit-mangling to pick Dozy up and give him a few pats.
He looked more sheepish when he overheard Solia and Belladonna's topic.
"Somebody go missing?" Harrison peered around, "they might have a booth you can ask, like uh, a security or lost and found." He hefted Dozy a little higher, then addressed Belladonna. "Uh. I was meaning to ask. You got one of those little bow things? I'm trying to get this Strawberry-looking critter over at the tart booth."Quote: Gene (Harrison) is an 8ft male djinn. That all made perfect sense except, it didn't at the same time. Belladonna was trying to keep the story straight, trying to follow a linear path and it simply wasn't lining up. There were chances to take, there was an opening, she was sure of it. She just had to find it. If only she could keep her head on straight for just two more minutes, just long enough to have this thing slip up, she'd get her answers. Or, if this siren never slipped then she's know too. It was getting confusing, she was getting lost, she wished there was someone she could ask. But if she went to bother Mort and ask him-- Wait."Did you care for him quite a lot?" Belladonna asked, her voice softer, more fragile. If she could just present this properly, make it seem like she understood, then she could lure this creature in. Trust was far easier to gain when one could relate, and caring for someone was something the witch was expert in. It was a terrible trap, full of easy escapes, but the siren had slipped up before. The witch was positive she'd do it again, the right questions just needed to be put in her path. Ah! That Djinn was kind, but goodness he was being a bit meddlesome. "Oh no, that's very kind but unfortunately not applicable in this situation." The witch told him in a low voice, trying to keep all of this very much so on the down low. Thankfully there was an opening. "Ah, yes! I do have the bows! Here! Have one!" The witch reached over to the counter on the booth and snatched one up before she offered it up to the Djinn, though she had to raise her hand much, much higher than seemed necessary. "The Tart booth is quite fun. I've gotten a number of darlings from there myself, just be careful. They can be a bit pesky." She offered him a warm smile and waited a tick, expecting him to mosey on along his way. With that taken care of, the witch returned her focus to Sol. Constant vigilance! Toshihiko Two HEY. You gets a ribbon. biggrin

Anthe walked up to the brightly colored booth. She had heard some nice things about this booth from others and wanted to try it. She wandered over to a mannequin with a box of clothes sitting next to it. Hmmm.. maybe she should dress the mannequin up?
The first item she grabbed was a blue blouse. "Oh what a pretty blue! Thats my favorite color!"
Anthe succeeded to pull out a few more items before getting to a sweater vest. It was a blue check pattern. How could anyone wear this? " Oh this is DEFINITELY my favorite item of clothing."
Anthe pulled out the last five things. The last thing to pull out was a large layered skirt, sometimes called a petticoat. " This would be so fun to twirl in!" She put all the clothes on the mannequin. it didn't look half bad!

While Belladonna is preoccupied, Snapkitty has decided that there are far too many tokens left over. Not wanting to waste them, he's decided to play a fun game! Everyone who visits the booth has a chance of being petted by Snapkitty, but his tail isn't overly fond of... Anybody. Roll a D20 to see if you evade his hungry tail or not! At the end, those with the highest scores will receive tokens and someone might walk away with a Cluppy. For RP purposes, anything over a 15 is evaded. The lower your roll, the harder he snaps. Chomp, chomp!

Yin stopped as he was passing when he saw the kitty. It needed petted, and Yin was willing to risk his fingers. He leaned down, petting the cat, and when the tail snapped at him he was swift enough to just snatch his hand away. Yin was not dinner. ((I already have the cluppy)) XD

Making his way over to another booth, Aedan leaned close to pat Snapkitty...before noticing his tail. Unfortunately...he wasn't quick enough to avoid a painful bite.
