~a crash off in the distance wakens Indy from his sleep, he becomes aware of his surroundings and pain surges through his entire lower half~ AHHHHHHHHHHHhhhg SON OF A b***h!!!!!!!! ~Indrid looks down at the origin of the pain, a clossal peice of shrapnel has his legs pinned from the femur down.~

Some kind of sound was picked up on D.O.'s sensors just moments after Altron hit the ground again.
"Hmmm? What was that just now?"
D.O. headed towards where the sound came from and immediately noticed the broken bloody body on the ground.
"Holy s**t! Is that the commander!?"
D.O. then kneeled his ZAKU close to where Indrid lay, and after placing Mei in his seat carefully he jumped down to help his commander.
"Commander! Hold on a sec! I'm coming!"
After nearly stumbling to get to his commander D.O. got there panicked and speechless after seeing the bloodied body.

*the right arm moves in a gittery motion, LOW POWER blinks in the middle of the scream*crap
*the cockpit door opens and demon comes out. He stands at the torso looking arround the area, his eyes find the Zaku kneeing*
who could that be?!?!?

*he finally makes it to the battlefield only to find that the battle was over. he sees a scrapped ms just laying there and picks up a heat source coming from a close zaku unit.*

*goes back into the cockpit and comes out armed with an assault rifle. Demon puts the strap on over his sholder, hand on triger, and slides down the GMs leg and starts a run for the ZAKU, ducking behind huge chunks of shrapnel on his way*

*he stops behind one of the ZAKU's legs and takes a deep breath before turning around it. He turns out, gun at the ready, aimed chest high*
"HOLD IT RIG-....D.O.? What are you doi-"*his eyes redirect to Indrid*"holy......."* He drops the gun letting it hang from his sholder and runs to Indrids side*

As Umrai got there D.O. had regained his composure and had more of a serious look upon his face instead of the shocked and near saddened look. He lowered his head as he was about to go against orders.
"I'm... sorry sir."
After speaking he turned around and ran toward his ZAKU. While climbing back inside he yelled at Umrai.
"Move Umrai! I'm taking the commander back to the base as fast as I possibly can! I'll come back for you once I get them in safely, so till then be safe!"
With that said he situated himself in his seat as best as possible, since Mei was still in there, and gently as possible picked up Indrid's broken and battered body with the hand of the ZAKU.
"Hold on both of you..."
The ZAKU's hand moved in close to the chest to protect Indrid as best it could from the wind of the moving mech. After doing so it took off towards the base as fast, but as easy as possible to not make either Mei or Indrid worse.
"Hmmm? Who's that trying to message me?" D.O. opens a channel to said mech. "I don't know who you are or what you want, but just stay out of my way as I have injured officers onboard and I need to take them to the infirmary as soon as possible. Out."
On his way to the base he noticed the shield was still up and was probably not allowing anything in, which made things much worse then they already were.
"Crap... how am I going to shut that thing off in time? There's got to be a way..."

*Demon crawled out from under the metal and dusted his pants off. He then climbed up the Metal and while shielding his eyes from the sun, he scaned the battle field*

::she felt the world move around her, lost in the sea of blackness that was her unconciousness. She opened her eyes, slowly, for the light burned and stang her eyes. Suddenly she felt a whirl of dizzy spells come over her. Quickly she clenched her eyes shut in hopes of stopping everything from spinning, letting out a small cry of discomfort.::
ah...s**t!
::after things had settled down she tried again, she knew there were things going on around her and something...someone was next to her. Much more cautiously this time, she opened her eyes and allowed them to adjust, her head still pounding, why she did not know. She looked to see what was next to her and found that D.O, apparently unscaved, was piloting some sort of MS...it took her a bit to determine that it was his ZAKU. She continued to scan the cockpit until her eyes landed on another bloody mass, this one she knew to be her commander, Indrid. It did not hit her for some time how severe his condition was. She began to panic in her head, her breathing increased, yet physically she was too drained to do anything other than yell in protest, screaming in D.O's ear.::

D.O. hardly payed attention to Mei's movement or first cry as he was far more concerned with getting them back to the base. But the second one was something else, he nearly jerked the controls from the loud, surprising, and painful yell. He whinced greatly from it, but did his best to keep his composure and mind on the task at hand. Though even that didn't stop him from yelling out of sheer shock.
"Holy HELL!!!"
It shocked him greatly as he didn't expect her to wake anytime soon. But just few seconds later he stopped not too far from the base as to avoid the shield, pondering how exactly he was going to get in before the commander's demise. As he pondered he was still in slight shock from Mei's unnerving yell into his ear.
"Damn Mei..." He cringed slightly from the pain that was still there and looked at her with a very serious yet desperate expression. "You didn't have to do that... but anyway do you have any idea as to how we can make it back into the base? The shield is still raised and I don't have any means as to get in whether it be by force or through any other measure."

...is...is he dead D.O?...Did we fail him?
::she was able to put together what he was saying, that rock had done some strange things to her head. she tried to clear her mind::
...the shield? ...yes...the shield... i can get us in... im feeling...dizzy...s**t hurry....
::she felt darkness attempt to consume her again but she fought back, they had to get back to the base::

*after scaning the area for nothing, Demon jumps off the piece of metal and slowly walks over to the GM, dragging his feet. He gets to the outside off the left leg and opens a compartment, revealing a tent, a sleeping bag, a pilow, water juggs and MRE's*
"hmmm?...."
* after throwing everything on the ground, Demon picks up the water, pilow, sleeping bag, and an MRE and walks away leaving the tent, 5 water juggs and remaining 8 MRE's on the ground. He gets back to the piece of metal and lays out the sleeping bag, putting half of it in the sun. He opens the MRE, pores water in to the cooker and lays it in the sun. He throws the pilow in the shade and lays down face up, lying his head on the pilow*
". . . now to wait . . . *sigh*"*a sizzling sound and the smell of pork fill the air*

D.O. continued to look around and ponder a way into the base as Mei clutched his arm.
"No... he's still alive, but who knows for how long."
Though after hearing her say something about getting in the base he turned to her with his face distressed, and a seemingly hopeless fear that the worst may yet come, but a little hope did fill him at the same time.
"What?! If you can get us in, then get us in now!"
His composure remained even through the distress and he felt obligated to answer the other pilots hail.
Com on: "Pilot, if you can hear me, go and pick up one of my other men who I had to leave behind. The officers at the moment are in worse condition so I had to abandon him for the time being. So pick him up and bring him in once the shield is done. That's all. D.O. out."
