The half-breed slaver slept most of the way to town, his tail leisurely swaying to and fro, and a low purr coarsed from his throat. He took no notice of the young slave who had awoken and eaten. He stirred moments before the dirigible landed and stood to stretch.
He knew Rose would still be weak from the night before, so he carried her in his arms, no words spoken to her. The drigible landed close to the market and within the market was a bright red cloth tent with elaborate golden trim. Marius carried Rose inside and placed her in a lush velvet chair. He took up a small mallet and banged once on a large gong that was just inside the tent.
A few moments later and a gypsy woman appeared. "Mirana, always a pleasure to see you, old friend," Marius said to her.
The woman nodded and smiled. "It has been quite some time, Sahip," the woman replied, using her native Turkish tongue when addressing Marius' title as Master, or Owner. "How can I help you today?"
"My slave has been hurt. I need her looking brand new for her performance tonight. Some medicinal salves would be wonderful."
The woman went over to Rose and removed the hood from her head. She looked over her face and saw the brusing, and only assumed the rest of her body was like that as well. "Eğer yeteri kadar onları yendi, onlar yeterince uzun gerçekleştirmek için yaşamak olmaz," the gypsy berated. She had said, If you beat them enough, they won't live long enough to perform.
Marius scoffed and placed one of his hefty checks on her table as payment. She looked over the amount and smiled, pocketing the paper. She shooed Marius out of her tent and went to prepare some salves for the girl.
Marius left the tent and went to cash his checks. He wandered the market for quite some time, buying some knick knacks for his curio cabinet in the living room. He found himself drawn once again to the slave quarters and nonchalantly browsed the cages.
He came to a cage where a young teen girl was sitting quietly with her arms knotted around her knees. She was quite a sight to see. She had long white hair, lavender eyes, a slender body, large bust, and most uniqe to her was a small crescent moon upon her forehead. She was beautiful, like Gracelyn, only in her own ways.
"Hello there. I'm Marius. Can you speak? What is your name?"
OOC: Need to wait for new person to join. biggrin

Rose Byrne Rose did not resist Marius when he picked her up, too tired and weak. She only whimpered softly in pain, her entire body hurting badly. She was grateful for the cloak she was wrapped in, as it hid her wounds, and kept her clothed, somewhat at least. She looked around slightly as she was carried into the red tent.
Inside the tent, Rose became curious. She was grateful for the dim lighting int there, as well as the plush chair. It wasn't so bad sitting on it. She let the woman who had come out take the hood off her head, too meek to do anything at this point. Silently, she watched the woman and her master talk, not understanding most of what the woman said.
Rose watched her master leave and she watched the woman begin to make something. "She seems kind...." she thought, relaxing on the chair, not moving. She wondered if she would be bought any clothes... Marius had destroyed one of her two dresses, so all she had now was one dress. She couldn't remember which one though....OoC: Kinda figured as much.

ʆʉɳѦ Ҭɑӄɑʂђɨ Luna was startled by the voice that had just addressed her. She looked up meekly and was instantly in awe of the beautiful and fascinating creature that stood before her. Luna cocked her head slightly to the side as she wrapped her slender fingers around the bars of the cage. She bit her lower lip before replying,"Y-Yes. I can speak. My name is Luna...Luna Takashi..."
Luna observed Marius. She couldn't stop looking at him. Her eyes roamed to meet his and pleaded silently to him. Please....Please, take me away from here.... Luna tugged at the hem of the tunic that she wore in a subconscious habit. The rough fabric fit her body in such a way that it highlighted her unique, curvy figure. Luna cast her gaze down to her hands and knuckles as they turned white with the intensity of her grasp. How she wanted to leave this cage, to be able to move around outside for more than a few moments before being locked up once again. But this was better than staying with Sephuris....wasn't it?

Marius smiled again. "Luna," he let the name slip off his tongue. "I like it. Tell me, little moon, what is that curious symbol on your forehead mean?" Marius asked.
He nonchalantly looked around for the girl's slaver and found him immediately as he was pressing in on him. He leaned against the bars of the cage and spat on the ground near Luna.
Marius looked back at the girl, waiting for her response. He began to study her a bit harder, noticing the type of clothing she was wearing, and how she seemed entirely too tense, judging by the sheer whiteness of her knuckles. She looked longingly at Marius, almost pleading.
He stepped back from the cage, not waiting for an answer. He would discover it in due time, after having purchased the fragile creature. He went to discuss the pricing with the slaver.
OOC: Sorry all I won't be home until after 8 pm EST tonight.

ʆʉɳѦ Ҭɑӄɑʂђɨ Luna winced when the slaver spat disgustingly close to her cage. In a fit of fear, Luna scrambled to the opposite side of her cage. Her long, silvery hair fell in front of her violet eyes, making her look almost animal-like. Luna began to shiver again as memories of her terrible past invaded her mind.
Luna turned to the corner closest to Marius. She carefully crawled over to the corner, dragging her ankle chain loudly along the floor of the cage. Her hands shook as she grabbed the bars again. Was she getting out? Was she about to taste freedom? Well, relatively speaking anyway....

Marius acknowledged that the girl had moved closer to where he stood. He deliberated with the slaver and finally agreed on a price for her. Marius paid the man and turned to the girl.
"You belong to me now. I can take you with me if you can accept the fact I am now your master. Otherwise, I can sell you to the breeder farm for twice what I paid for you now. Which will it be?" Marius hoped the girl would consider his offer, but it was true. He could sell her to be a human breeder just a few cages down. Marius clicked his tongue impatiently and his tail swayed that way too.

ʆʉɳѦ Ҭɑӄɑʂђɨ Luna's eyes brightened at Marius's news. She smiled meekly and said,"I would be honored to call you Master." Luna shifted again as she tried to stand. It was difficult enough to stand in the cramped cage without the added difficulty of her emotions that were running rampant. The sleeve of her tunic shifted and fell. Her pale skin shone softly in the lighting of the market. The bars of the cage cast stripe-like shadows along her finely-featured face. Luna bit her lower lip once again.
She smiled again, more confident this time. Luna looked into Marius's eyes once again and bowed her head in thanks. "I don't know how I could ever thank you. I will do whatever you ask.....M-Master, she said. The words felt strange in her mouth but it faded. I will do anything.....to feel loved...

Marius purred with delight. The slaver opened the cage and handed the ankle chain to Marius after pulling the woman out, hard. Marius caught her as she had almost fallen, his muscles flexing with strength. Despite being filty, Luna smelled good. Her natural pheremones were enough to just entice Marius.
"Come little moon, we need to collect another of my posessions."
Marius held taught to Luna's chain, but not tight enough where she had trouble walking. Marius led the way back to the gypsy tent and went inside, but not before stopping to pick up another dress to replace the one he had ripped from Rose the night prior.
As he entered, he saw Mirana was just cleaning up. He circled around to the front of Rose and examined her. Not a scratch, bruise, or bump was seen anywhere on her face, and he only assumed her body looked the same. Mirana was a miracle healer, that much was certain.
"Hello, Rose. Feeling better? I do believe we have learned our lesson about speaking up about the business that goes on betwixt you and me, no?" Marius waited for a reply. "And I'd like you to meet our new housemate. This is Luna."

Rose Byrne Rose was amazed with Mirana had done. She had allowed her to do what needed to be done, and she was amazed with her work. It was almost as if the night before had not happened, even though it had. She had just put the cloak back on when her master came back, a girl with a chain attached to her ankle behind him. "He got another slave?"
Rose watched him walk over to her, stopping in front of her. He seemed to examine her face, and she assumed he was pleased with what he saw. "I am feeling better, thank you. I have also learned... I apologize Master..." She said this softly, bowing her head to him softly. She stood then, her body covered by the cloak.
Rose smiled softly to the girl he introduced as Luna. "It is nice to meet you Luna. I hope your new life with our Master will be to your liking." Her voice remained soft and gentle as she spoke, a little smile not leaving her. She was still afraid of Marius, but she was feeling better and had learned from what had happened.

ʆʉɳѦ Ҭɑӄɑʂђɨ Luna looked Rose over for a moment before getting up the courage to respond,"H-Hello. I am very hopeful that my new life will be better than what I have already experienced. W-What is your name?" Luna stepped closer to Marius and wrung her hands for a few moments before letting them fall to her sides.
The chain around her ankle clanked against the floor again. Luna jumped in response. The sound startled Luna slightly. She wasn't able to properly move that way since before she was first captured by the slavers.

Rose Byrne Rose smiled kindly to the girl. She seemed shy and easily startled. She herself was like that at times. "My name is Rose. It is a pleasure to meet you." She wondered what this new girl had gone through before being bought.
Rose took her hand gently. "You will be well taken care of, I know this. And there are others at the house, so we will not be alone." Rose gently squeezed her hand, trying to reassure her.

Marius was pleased. "Very good. Now that you've both met, let us return home. I'm quite famished. And Rose, I've bought you a dress. Here, get changed." He handed her the dress and motioned for her to change right then and there. Once she was dressed, he escorted both girls back to the dirigible and headed back home.
[[Timelapse. We're now back at home.]]
Marius got off the aircraft and unleashed Luna as the dirigible was taking off again. He briefly explained the living situation, and if she wanted her own room, or a room to share, she'd have to find it herself. Marius ordered that Rose find Gracelyn and the twins and meet in the dining area for supper. While she did that, he left Luna to her own devices and went to prepare a fast lunch of salad and a butter potato soup.

Rose Byrne Rose went to go find Gracelyn and the twins, needing to talk to Gracelyn anyway. She wanted to ask if it would be okay if they shared a room. She liked being around her a lot, especially after how she had been comforted last night.
On the way back to the house, she had spoken with Luna, telling her that she planned to move to another room and share with Gracelyn, so she could have her room. She smiled softly as she searched for Gracelyn and the twins.

Gracelyn was sitting in the living room, a book on her lap. The twins, still sopping wet from being in the pool all day long, were sitting on the floor. They had convinced her to come away from the porch and read to them. She'd gotten them towels and made the sandwiches, complying to their whims of something to do. The blond woman spoke softly, her voice hoarse and visibly tired but she was inconsolable despite their best efforts. The boys were sprawled on the wood of the floor, having been wise enough to roll up the carpet first! Admittedly, they'd tried everything they could to get the woman to rest and sitting was the best they'd achieved. Both knew she wouldn't be able to do anything later, even now she sounded almost dead.

Rose Byrne Rose found Gracelyn and she ran up to her, grinning. "Grace!" she exclaimed happily, sitting by her and hugging her tightly. She barely noticed the twins, too happy to see her friend, her big sister.
