The fire was wiped out by a strong gust created by Atticus, and nevertheless that Rai was impressed by his power. But Atticus couldn't seems to handle his power quite well. Is it possible that something is sealing his power? Or is he is simply can't handle it? The question would remain a question. Slowly Rai would walk away from the cliff and starting to head toward where the boss is along with Victoria. Is time to put and end to this. Since he was walking, he arrived at the moment where the boss losses one of his arm. Isn't this a familiar face? Rai said as he walk straight into the battlefield, How many months has it been, Kaye? Rai say referring to the boss, I didn't expect you to be here. He says as he dodging all the Kishin that was coming at his direction and soon stood in front of the boss. The boss was huge even for a Kishin egg, but Rai couldn't see him face without looking up and so.. Kneel.. Rai whispered and used mind control forcing the Boss to Kneel before him and look him into the eyes.

  ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Atticus would smile as Harold raced over to the warehouse where the hostage was taken from. Seeing this, Atticus was able to deduce everything, "Harold, I suspected that you had some hidden motive for doing what you did." Atticus said as then saw the six vanguards rush towards him from all directions, "I will not fall to you scum." Atticus then jumped into the air, dodging the vanguards attacks, "I don't have time to waste with you." he said while he began building up energy. Atticus would then land back on the ground, storing the energy in his body, "Purge!!!" suddenly Atticus would release all of the energy at once, causing a massive explosion that not only engulfed the six vanguards but also Shira and the others, but only the ones who were close to him would experience the terrifying power.
As the explosion died down, Atticus would be seen, his clothes tattered, scorch marks all over his face and coughing up blood. "That should take ca-" stopping, Atticus would see that three of the vanguards were safe and looked completely unharmed. Backing away, Atticus would show a side of himself that he never had before, fear. "How? That attack is the strongest in my arsenal, and yet I could only take down three. Is that the true extent of my power." he muttered as he knew that he was in no condition to continue fighting.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She watched but then saw Atticus use his power to take out half of the vanguards. She saw that three were still standing and charge at Atticus. She looked over at him to see what he would do but felt her stomach twist when she saw fear on his face. She frowned then when she saw him backing away, seeing that Rai had the leader under control she took off and skidded in between Atticus and the three vanguards "Soul Barrage!" She snapped quickly as soul bullets launched in all directions at them, she continued pelting them with bullets as they exploded on impact. She stopped finally and turned at Atticus with a glare "Don't back down!" She snapped at him, she wasn't upset at him for being injured or afraid even, it was the fact that he backed away and let the fear get to him. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

Never again... The whole area shook and the remaining windows in nearby buildings shattered as Atticus's explosion rocked the plaza. Both panthers were incinerated before they even realized what was happening, leaving nothing but a trace of ash blowing away in the wind. One of the tigers roared in pain as the explosion burned him down to the bones. The skeleton stood for a second before falling apart near Atticus. The two lions were unaffected and the other tiger who had been a little further away survived as well. They didn't seem the least bit upset by their comrade's deaths, but that didn't mean they weren't ready to hurt Atticus. They surrounded him, cat-like grins flashing needle-like teeth in the night. One of the lions with a heavy club reached back, swinging it across, trying to club Atticus across the face. Before the blow could land, Shira was among them, firing her soul bullets. The two lions backed off, covering their face with their arms, bullets tearing and burning into them. The tiger stood still. For a moment it seemed as if he hadn't been hurt at all. But then he looked down, noticing multiple holes in his body. Without further ado he collapsed, dead on the spot. The two lions roared at Shira and Atticus, one rushing each, clubs extended to strike. Will I be bound in chains...

Never again... The chief struggled for a moment under Rai's control. For several moments he was paralyzed as Rai approached him. He waited until Rai was close enough, then forced all his willpower into one action, ripping through the mind control and bringing his ax around, swinging in an attempt to behead Rai. Will I be bound in chains...

Atticus looked at her as she turned around and yelled at him to not back down, "Why? Why have i become so weak? Why is that I am afraid?" he asked as he would grab his head, "Why am I being saved by the person I swore to protect. I have never known fear, but now I am shaking like a child." Atticus said as he looked at his hands which were shaking uncontrollably. "Am I nothing more than a shell of my former self? Am I truly just a regular human?"▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Never again... The lion's eyes widened as Shira released her Death Cannons, but they were going too fast to change direction. Each one took a blast square to the chest. They held for a second before the blast exited out their backs. Each lion stumbled a different direction, holes the size of dinner plates in their chests. After a moment they collapsed, ending the last of the chief's once formidable vanguard. Will I be bound in chains...

Everyone deals with fear sooner or later, don't make it sound like you are so different." She told him as she continued holding both of his hands tightly together "So what if you are a regular human now? You can still become stronger like you were before, like I said we can work on it together." She said to him as she started using her soul energy and transferring it to him thanks to her lines. "You have protected me for a long time now, I want to do the same for you... now that I have it is your turn to go back to your role and prove that you are still the Demon King." Protecting herself from the massive blast shaking herself off as she wittiness what's going on here, rushing up the wall knocking some the creatures down before launches herself at Rai, tackling him and brings him down to the ground. "Hey! Save the small for later.. we need to focus on this guy in hands." she pointing at the beast swinging the weapon again as a sudden blue flaming aura started surrounding her whole body.

"I don't need you to baby me and tell me what you think I might want to hear." he said as he let go of her hands, "Don't pity me or treat me like I need help. I will get stronger in my own way." he said, referring to the time he had given up his humanity to become the Demon King. Looking away from her, Atticus would sigh, "Maybe I should have never given up my title and power, just so I could belong with humans. I forsook my own goals and ambitions." he muttered. Never again... By this point the other kishin eggs were either dead or had fled the village altogether. Only the chief with his one arm remained. He growled as his swing missed Rai due to Michi tackling him out of the way. The chief turned to Michi "If you want to die first I will do as you wish!" This time he swung down towards her with his battle ax, attempting to cut her straight down the middle. He didn't paused as bullets began to tear into him from behind, blood spraying from the stump of his arm. With such injuries it was clear that this attack would be his last. Will I be bound in chains...
