"Very lucky... you aren't cheating, are you~?" He teased, leaning in close to inspect the backs of the tiles as if looking for hidden marks. Her next two tiles were memorized instantly. It probably wouldn't be much of a challenge for Lavi, but he wanted to see how well Luci would do. He carefully selected two other tiles, revealing a little puppy and a baby cow. With a pout, he flipped them back over again.

Hyber pressed her hands to the circle once again, but nothing happened. "I dunno....."

Luci puffed her cheeks out, "Of course, not!" She watched him take his turn and did her best to remember where the the puppy and calf were before taking her turn, going back for the mother alligator. She got it right, but when she tried for the baby alligator she ended up with the mother dog instead. She bit her lip and glanced at Lavi with worry, thinking he would now be able to go back for the puppy and get the mother dog. She hoped he had forgotten their places.
"Hmm..," Liv pursed her lips a bit and started to think Hyber had made everything up after all, "Well, I think after the party is over I should take you to see a few people. And then we can find you a room to stay in, too. I guess you'll be staying here for a while, since you...don't know how to get home..."

"W-wha? W-well......I guess......" She was curious. Miss Liv didn't think she was crazy, right? or if she made that up, because she didn't. "okay......"

"oh.....okay......so, where is everyone?" she looked around. The room was looking a little empty. "shouldn't there be more people....?"

"Well, yes...there should be," Liv looked around the room a bit too. She wasn't sure what made her assume that, but she supposed it was just that parties should be filled with people, and this one wasn't, "There are a lot of Exorcists who are away on missions, so they are unable to attend."

Lavi stared at the tiles in concentration, contemplating his next move. He could easily match the canines, but he wanted to go easy on the little girl. Then again, she had a pair already, so it couldn't hurt much. He first flipped the mother dog she had just found, then his hand hesitantly hovered over the tile that had the puppy on it. He decided to flip that too, a little happily surprised smile stretching his lips as if he hadn't been expecting it. "One each, then~" Like her, he then went back for the mother alligator, and his second choice revealed a mother panda. This made him snort in amusement.

"oh, missions.......but we can still have fun without them......" She continued turning her head, and looking around. All she could see was a lot of pink decorations, though.

"Aww...good one, Uncle Lavi," she watched, and was glad at least that he didn't get a second pair, too, "My turn again~" She went for a new card this time, and ended up with the mother duck. It had been so long since she had seen the duckling, but the concentrated hard. Her hand hovered over two different cards and she bit her lip, making a little noise of uncertainty. She finally chose the one she was most certain of, and jumped up in her chair when it was the duckling, "Yes~!" she giggled.
When she took her next turn she went for two completely new cards, revealing a baby snake and a baby seal.
Liv laughed a little, frowning because it was like Hyber pretended to know everything about The Order already, "Well of course we can..and some of the Science team is here...I'm sure they'd love to meet you, but perhaps the middle of a party isn't the best time."

"but why would the scientists be skipping your party? " she kept smiling, even when Miss Liv frowned. She didn't know that much about anything, and her eyes kept moving around, trying to figure this new place out.

"They are here, a lot of them. They're dancing," Liv pointed to the floor where numerous random members were having a good time, "Some of them are working, but mostly everyone is here."

"Oh, nice one~" He smiled at her glee at finding the duck pair, watching her flip the seal and snake babies. "Hmm..." Lavi's single eye moved along the remaining tiles, noting the location of the ones that had been flipped already. There were no pairs to make out of them, so he flipped a new one. It was the elusive baby alligator. He bit his lip a little as he feigned forgetting the location of the mother, his hand reaching for the tile next to it, which was the baby cow he'd found earlier. He groaned and turned them back over.

"they look like they're having fun......." she watched the dancers. did one just throw another into the air? she stared, mesmerized, and watched as he caught her. "wow......"

Luci let out a relieved sigh as Lavi failed to get the mother alligator. The moment it was her turn, she quickly found the mother and the baby, "Ha~" she grinned and set them aside before flipping another card, which turned out to be the mother seal. Luci again stared at the cards, trying to remember where the baby seal was. It hadn't been that long ago, so she got lucky and found it.
"Teehee~" she giggled and set them aside as well. On her third turn she flipped the baby snake again, but ended up with a mother cat.
"They sure do~ Do you want to dance?" she held her hand out with a smile.
