The barrier was down, and she had a sinking suspicion they were in for a whole heap of trouble. No matter the efforts the hunters had, the halloweens had managed to over power them with those last few, really heavy, hits.
She was backing up some when her back bumped into someone, she intended on apologizing a moment later when she looked up and saw Bix looking down at her with a serious expression on his face, and she soon closed her halfway open mouth and replied with a single nod to answer a unspoken question.
The raven haired woman knew, all too well, that there was a battle coming. She would have Bix's back as much as he would have hers. Funny really, it seemed that most of the people she cared for were in either sun or moon. There were a few in the other divisions, but the eclipse was the majority.

The platform shifted, accommodating the Lost Clan members that broke through. Beneath them, the lava bubbled, steadily rising, temperature almost unbearable to the point of blacking out. For the Horsemen, they didn't feel a thing: instead, they felt strong, powerful. There was more than enough Fear in the battlefield, the illusion only worked with them.
Medea raised one arm as a torrent of molten rock rose high into the air, an arc of angry yellow-red-
- And let it collapse upon the first line Hunters still scrambling to defend. The substance corroded their Fear shields almost instantly, pressing through it in droplets, hissing as it made contact with clothing, skin-
- The pain was instantaneous, absolute. Several Hunters cried out involuntarily, skin hissing an angry red, thick angry welts, blisters, bubbling up through chunks of blackened skin. Others were not as lucky as the lava ripped entirely through their Fear shield and descended voraciously onto them, hungrily eating their skin, flesh, hair, eyes, everything they could find, excruciating, burning, corrosive, until the feeling surpassed the boundaries of pain, thousands of liquid hot needles pressing down until -
- They finally gasped one last time and collapsed in a pile of smouldering ash and flesh.
Medea raised her arm a little higher, her bracelet glowing - flashing the same angry-red as the illusion-
- And then shrieked as her arm was sliced clean off, the limb smoking at one end, fingers still curled into claws. The arm dissipated, reforming back onto her body almost immediately, but the damage had been done.
Separated from its owner, the bracelet dulled in hue just as the illusion shattered completely, those deceased from the lava snapping back to consciousness fully physically restored, only to feel the pain twice-fold, the lingering effects of the Illusion fully affecting their ability to summon a Fear shield. It felt like everything had been ripped from them, that they had died.
Bits of the ceiling began to crumble again, large slabs sandstone falling dangerously from above. A particularly large chunk threatened to collapse on a few fallen Hunters -
- Only to be literally pushed back by a burst of white light. Someone was there, yelling at the Hunters, telling them to head to the exit. A voice cut through the haze, the aftermath of the illusion.
"We'll take it from here, just move." Allan braced his weapon in both hands, forcing several horsemen back with a standard cleave of his sword before engaging in several that were already attempting to move forwards to chase the Hunters.
"No." Medea reached over for her bracelet-
- Just as another arc of blue enveloped the item, consuming it entirely. Only a blackened gem crackled on the ground in the aftermath. The Head Priestess turned around, away from the prisoners to face the second assailant, her face contorting, beyond enraged. She shrieked as she raised from her other hand a ornamental dagger, the weapon clashing as angrily as it hit the curved end of a scythe weapon. "You-" All others were forgotten in her blind rampage, her rage, as all plans fell into ruin -"Do you dare mock me again again-"
-"Hurry up!" Allan turned away from the Death lead's personal vendetta with Medea and called to the rest of the trainees, still pushing back the line of horsemen at the far end. "The Lair is going to collapse any second, we need to get out." Belatedly he realized that all the horsemen could hear this. "...Oops."
"You heard him!" The Mist Hunter, the one who had relayed orders during the barricade was one of the first to move, quickly engaging one of the horsemen blocking the exit. "We move out now!"
OOC - ALL HUNTERS IN THE FRONT LINE OF DEFENSE (Mist, Moons, Life), all fell prey to the lava. If you are a MOON or MIST HUNTER (subbing in as Moon) you take first degree damage - you feel the lava descend on your, your skin begin to burn, and the rest is pure agony before you black out and wake up again, to see the illusion shattered. You feel very shaky on your knees, you can barely stand and MAY need to be supported. All your damage is halved. YOUR FEAR SHIELD HP IS AT 10. If you are a LIFE Hunter you take second degree damage, even as the illusion shatters you still feel as if there are odd burning abrasions on your skin. Feel free to write this out before the battle phase. HORSEMEN/ LOST CLANS:- You want to prevent as many Hunters as you can from escaping! You may target ANY HUNTER in ANY ZONE and attack them as normal. Please note: from this point onwards we are not including distortion in ORPS as it gets a little too crazy. Just use REGULAR battle mechanics. - You can attack up to FIVE times in this battle. All dice mechanics are NORMAL NOW. Follow regular battle guides. QUOTE YOUR TARGET and post the DAMAGE DONE TO THEM IMMEDIATELY. - Hunters with 0 HP are DISABLED, they cannot leave! They can also not be attacked/ switch targets as you wish. HUNTERS:- You need to ESCAPE. Before you make an action, roll a 4-sided dice. This determines the ZONE you are at. Prison = Dice Roll 1 Colosseum 1 = Dice Roll 2 Colosseum 2= Dice Roll 3 Exit = Dice Roll 4. - If you are at the EXIT, you have MADE IT TO THE EXIT. You have a choice/right to wait for others there, but you CANNOT go back. That means if you decide to wait at the EXIT, any horseman can still attack you! - If you are at any of the other zones, you will need to stay in this zone for 10 OOC MINUTES. That means you literally have to roll, and wait 10 minutes before you can roll for another zone. During the ten minutes you have unlimited RP reactions, you can help carry another Hunter that's unconscious/ etc etc in that zone. You may also get attacked! If you get attacked, you CAN attack back. You can attack/ defend/ heal as many times as you ARE attacked. Ie: if you are attacked by two players you get two turns to attack/defend/ heal in that zone. However, you CANNOT take action if you are NOT being attacked (this includes healing or defending) because you are trying to FLEE! - Once the 10 OOC minutes are over you can try for another zone again. The goal is to roll a 4/ hit the EXIT so you can leave! - ANYONE AT THE EXIT ZONE CAN LEAVE ANY TIME! They will be considered ICly back to Deus/ SAFE/ out of the RP! - If you hit 0 HP, you are unconscious. Another Hunter needs to carry you as long as they are in your zone (wherever you fell unconscious at)! A Hunter can only carry one unconscious person at a time! The unconscious Hunter just shares your dice roll. - Make sure you ALWAYS POST YOUR TOTAL HP REGARDLESS OF RP POST OR NOT.

[ ZONE 4 - EXIT - STAYING ]
If he'd thought his head had hurt before, it was nothing compared to how it was now.
Everything around him was collapsing, falling into ruin, and there were screams echoing throughout the rapidly disintegrating lair. Gale ran through the corridors with Jinhai summoned, his fingers wrapped tightly around the familiar weight of the gun. He could feel the dragon in his mind, and it was a comforting presence, in spite of the situation threatening to suffocate him.
He wasn't sure how he had made it to the exit, but somehow he had - and he'd missed everything else, all of the lava, though he could feel the heat radiating throughout the air like a thick wave, making it difficult to breathe. He stood there and hesitated, by himself near the end, and could not seem to force his feet to move.
He couldn't just run away while everyone else was still here.
Jinhai?
