Dominic pulled her into his arms and lifted her up taking her to a small clearing and setting her down gently in his lap.

**Needlessly she beats on his bare chest, trying to get him to let her go.**
Riska: I am not some child that will break at the first sign of terrible...Not let me go, and reveal to me what you have...
**She snapped sticking to her guns and refusing to feed.**

Dominic just watched her not really feeling the hits, "Oh well you are in my lap you are sitting there now shh.." he said softly as he opened his mind to her

**Riska pushed against the stone wall of his chest with no avail. With a heavy sigh she gave up, but did not drop her guards completely and reached into his mind...Searching for the answers she sought. The truth about vampires, and these so called....Carpathains, as well as how she played into all of this.**

Dominic looked at her, she was beautiful and he thought back to when he had first herd her calls, he anwsered her and was there during every rape and when she went through the conversion he could not get to her completely because she would not mentally link with him fully but he was with her though everything. He had searched the world for her and yet at every turn she seemed to elude him and now there she was sitting in his lap. Was this for real? He knew he loved her and felt for her and wished that he would have been able to find her all those years ago to stop her pain and suffering. he pulled from his thoughs. "Do you believe me now my beloved"

**Riska quickly scrambled a way...Everything she had known was turned up side down. How many carpathains had she needlessly killed in her blinded rage against the vampires? And the one that kept her sane through all her heart ache was real....And actually tried to get to her when she thought he had abandoned her...He was real....Tears of great confusion burned at the back of her throat....Moving roughly three feet from him, Riska drew her knees to her chest and buried her face into the crests of her knees. All of this was so over whelming for her....Then again what he showed her how did she knew it was true. What if it was made up, but then again she would feel if it was full of lies...She would know and she knew he spoke the truth. Riska shuddered as she tried to hold everything back....What she couldn't understand is why was all this happening to her. She just wanted as close to a normal life as possible. She wanted what was stolen from her back. This scared her more then anything. She was dead set now completely lost.**
Riska: I.....I....
**Riska began but was at a loss for words.**

Dominic watched her the pain and confusion going through his body tore at his heart as he moved to her side kneeling as he wrapped his arms around her one hand slowly stroking her hair and down her back. "Shhh..my beloved, it is alright. You did not know, what was taken from you never should have been. None of it was your fault, please my beloved do not be sad." he looked at her his silver eyes mirroring her emotion and his compassion for her. It was true he could be ruthless but with her he would be nothing but gentle.

**Riska stiffened at his touch. Him, this, everything was too much. If she was a computer it would read system failure over her screen, as the information download was too intense. Either way she choked back the tears. Sniffling, shrinked back into herself.**

Dominic sighed and then scooped her up into his arms, with blurring speed he took her into a cave taking twists and turns. He then reached where he wanted into a large crystal cave with underground hotsprings. He kissed her cheek softly and then turned to leave. "It is safe here and the ground is rich. Please rest, you are going to have to feed eventually or you will kill next time you do. If you need me just reach to me...Riska."

**Riska's heart sank, as she suddenly flew to her feet. Glaring coldly at him with tears shimmering upon her eye lids, she balled up her fists and hissed angrily.**
Riska: Go?! And leave me again....Just like you. Waltz in when I need you, when I am confused and lost and you just walk out again just like that. Now I know why I resented you...
**Riska snapped as a tear rolled down her cheek, and she stormed passed him knowing full well she could no longer shape shift.**
Riska: As for feeding, I would rather starve to death then commit a henious attack again...
**Riska meant it too as she passed him by.**

Dominic moved into her path and took her into his arms as he looked down into her eyes, "Do you wish me to stay? I thought I was the problem my beloved?" he placed his hand against her cheek as he leaned down to kiss away the tear. He held her close and lovingly as he caressed her cheek.

Dominic took ahold of her and made it to where she could not pull away from him as he looked down to her, "I was leaving because you wanted me to. What is it you want Riska? I know in your mind I am the problem you thought it yourself."

**Riska rolls her eyes in exasperation(sp), as she shakes her head.*
Riska: You don't get it do you? I was kidnapped, raped, beaten to an inch of my life, tortured and turned into a monster....And you show me all these things that all my beliefs for the past three fours of this century are wrong....I killed everything that moved, and acted like a vampire...Did inhuman feats...I probably...
**She began to choke up...**
Riska: Killed innoncent Carpathians....And the only time I felt sane was when I was with the vampire because I heard you. And you disappeared then. And now you walking off when I am on the brink of insanity because I am having a bit of difficult time comprending things when I need you the most....No......
**She yanks free and turns and runs away. Her heart cried out in agony of the distance between them. Of her waiting to be with the one person she oftened reflected back on to....And he wanted to walk out cause she was confused....Tears streamed down her face as she hissed holding back a roar of frustration.**

Dominic looked at her, "Riska my beloved. I am not about to leave you alone. My mind reaches to touch yours although I know I should not do so. I was there everytime he put his hands on you Riska in your mind, I tried my best to find you and could not. So I did the only thing I could; I taught you to fight and to survive. You would not have been able to kill a carpathian my love they are much more skilled and unless they wished for death would realize that you were a Carpathian."
