[Chaos Side] [Hourly Roll]
"Negaverser...call me Benitoite. It seems we're to know each other intimately this evening." He spoke, with a slight nod to the wound he'd inflicted upon her. "You should at least know the name of the one whom you are fighting." Something he could offer, his name. It was not the name his mother gave him at birth and yet it was a name he was born to.
Looking around the battle field he spied many things going on, fights all around and many downed senshi, knights, and agents of chaos. He spied Wolframite, who had been nice enough to offer his help, wildly waving about his weapon - a very dangerous thing, and than noted Howlite making her way over. Good, it looked like help was needed there. He'd have gone himself but he was rather tied up at the moment, when wasn't he this evening? Rolling his eyes behind the mask he turned to face his opponent, turned opponents. Lovely, they multiplied yet again. And again it was someone familiar to him. Really did it ever end tonight? It didn't seem it, oh well. There was no point in complaining and no time to do so either. He now had two to handle, and he would do so.
"Of course you'll defend her, such a knight in shining armor you are." Mocking as he gave his own weapon, the blade by now tainted in the blood of his opponents of the night, a quick twirl. "Didn't get enough the last time we met, Knight?" He continued from behind the gas mask before he moved in to attack the knight. For the moment the little senshi was safe.
Weapon raised over his head he brought it down as hard as he could toward the Knight.
((And I'm gonna turn in. Anyone attacking me quote me! I'll tag back when I drag myself from bed.))

"What's the matter, little one?" Painite cooed. She had almost forgotten how wickedly fun this was. She watched him, her regard cold and thoroughly mocking.
It was evident in her light, blazing, sea green eyes that she had no concern for this senshi. All she saw was a bump in the road, a target to be killed and to leave behind her in a puddle of blood. He was just the first in what she hoped would be a long and glorious fight.
And a hell of a lot of fun.
Painite did not go out of her way to kill, usually, but this was not going out of the way. This was what they were here to do. She still carried around a very fleeting image from another large battle she had been in. Three words echoed in her head whenever her blood began to pulse this hard.
Kill them all.
And at the moment, she intended to. She grinned at Athene, shaking her head and laughing almost melodiously if not for the decidedly cruel edge to it.
"I'm going to love watching you dance on the end of my spear. How do you feel about kebabs?" She lunged at him again, holding her spear level, like a jousting lance.

Camelot moved another step in front of Nyx, though he could see that Benitoite as not attacking her. That was fine with him, for now. It kept her safe and gave her a moment to recover herself. He had seen the blood on her, and knew she was favoring an injury though he did not know how badly.
As Benitoite moved to attack him, Camelot raised his large, strong shield. The two weapons clattered against one another. Camelot held his ground, bracing himself and pushing back against the weapon.
"Whoever you fought that night," he said, through gritted teeth, "it wasn't me. But I've had an epiphany. Funny enough, you were part of that. So thank you." He grunted as he said the last few words, shoving forward to knock the Negaverse General backwards if he could, "you helped me remember what I'm supposed to be doing."
It was a shame he had needed a beating and a giant battle to open his eyes. But he was determined not to let them be clouded again.

Sailor Virtus might have been a little out of his depth, but he was here and that was what really mattered. He wanted to help, wanted to do whatever he could to support his friends and his teammates.
But this?
This was more than he had ever imagined. It made him uncomfortable, to say the least, seeing all the death and the violence. It was very hard to live in a happy bubble of sunshine and paper flowers when such stark reminders of the true nature of their battles popped up. Even Virtus and his aggressive optimism couldn't smile his way through this one.
But he could focus on his orders, focus on what he was told to do. He had to find Remarque, and show him how he had been training. Maybe he could put it to use here! Prove himself for real, and earn his place properly. He would do anything for the Dark Senshi, and always did as he was told.
It took him a lot of running around, but he spotted Remarque and hurried over as best he could, though he was still too far away yet to be able to talk to him, or see if the other senshi was hurt or not. He did see others from their team there, though, which was hopeful.
(If anyone wants to cut Virtus off or interact with him, he's open to anything. ^^)

[Order Hourly Roll] "Benitoite," Sailor Nyx said, 'correcting' herself with a sarcastically cordial nod to the General. She hoped to have noticed a weakness in her target by now, and her window of options was shrinking as the seconds ticked by. A blood-soaked hand moved away from the wound at her side -- holding it was doing little besides robbing her of an extra arm. Determined, she once again lifted her fists. Pasiphae was fighting the one-eyed general -- was she still alive? Kallichore was so wounded. What of the Jovians? She couldn't say for Sailor Tsui. Even in Ireland, she had not felt so alone and it seemed silly to entertain the notion now, when she was technically surrounded by members of the Order. Yet. Then, there was a Knight of Earth by her side, mighty shield at the ready. His looks and demeanor were as though he had stepped out of legend. Her heart stopped with gratitude at his proclamation. The tables turned. "Thank you," Sailor Nyx whispered under her breath, before a second thought. With a clang of weapon against shield, Benitoite was on him now and she was eager to be out of the way -- but not necessarily out of the fight. ((I'm afraid I'm out for the night, too. :c If I make it back in time, she'll help out Camelot as best she can, but if not feel free to march onward! *salute*))

[Order roll]Oh god, oh god, the smoke! Sailor Subamara's first panicked thoughts were of volcanos, cracking ground, and as the attackers started pouring in, she could only stand silent, covering her mouth and nose ineffectually with both gloved hands. The meeting had seemed so sensible, she'd appreciated the agenda and hearing everyone's viewpoints, even if they were a little heated. She'd been all for giving chances to the bad guys, making them see a better way. It had made her feel good about joining the fight. Now, what could she do? Of course this was chaos, darkness and breathlessness, all of the nightmares. How did you purify this? She wanted to get out. Before she blacked out. Bodies were dropping, horrible sounds on all sides, and she was far to the back and they were everywhere. She couldn't see or breathe, but she could still think. Hole in the roof. Chairs on the floor. Smoke rises. Down down down, she thought, dropping to her knees and trying to crawl away from the smoke clouds, away from enemies she could barely see, more powerful than she could imagine. Even with her eyes screwed shut, it seemed she could still see things, horrible smokey afterimages that swiped at her. She couldn't avoid them, there wasn't any out. Allies, then. She forced her watering eyes open, looking around for white cloth, a friendly aura, and stumbled in the direction of the first one she thought was real, choking out her magic before the smog took her voice entirely. "Subamara Coffee Rush!" It wasn't an attack as such, but maybe it would help a little. At any rate, the strong coffee smell it gave off certainly cheered her up. [Attack details: Subamara Coffee Rush (short-range AOE buff) Subamara holds out her hands and a stream of coffee pours out, pooling on the ground around her. A strong coffee aroma fills the area. Anyone splashed by or stepping in the coffee feels temporarily more alert and energised - specifically, their hearing and agility are both slightly boosted for the next 30 seconds.
- Effect: Slightly boosted hearing and agility - Range: Anyone within 1 meter radius of Subamara - Duration: 30 seconds]

Watching this poor girl was almost like watching a goldfish suffocate outside of its fish bowl. However, Sailor Irene slowly made her recovery, eventually able to muster up the strength to give him thanks.
"I suspect your thank yous should be going to this... one..." How in the world did one address a girl who had cat ears? Was she still considered a cat? If his nose and eyes had anything to say about it, yes, she was still a cat!The manx in a humanoid guise wasn't the sort to hide her affections, and soon enough had latched onto Irene's body with a sort of hugging grip. "I am sooooo sorry I wasn't able to get to you faster! It's just... all that smoke made it hard to find anything after we were separated!"
Or rather, Irene dropped *********, but the guardian wasn't going to make her girl one of the villains. The room was already filled with enough of those. The lad just simply brushed the girl's bangs out of her eyes once more, also taking a look about him.
This was horrible. For no rhyme or reason, the meeting had been attacked by a combination of the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Senshi. They were fighting like dogs, trying to cut down anything in their path.
Though he remained in place by the girl, his thoughts seemed to go elsewhere.
How could he justify staying a pacifist amidst all of this? There were plenty of senshi and fellow knights who were suffering. Nysa had not been fighting at all during this, and aside from assisting one girl who desperately needed the help, there were at least 20 others who were bleeding for no reason other than the war.
In a sense, he once more had become the victim who was being protected. How could he call himself a Page if he had to rely on the other senshi and knights to protect him?The knight seemed to be a bit distracted, so ********* was not about to call him back to reality. However, she wasn't against speaking to the still recovering Irene.
"...Iris dropped you off over here... but I think we may need to go find her again... and the others... do you think you're able to get up?"

"Yer talkin' my language, short stuff!" The tomboy pulled herself out of the coffin before standing up next to Hygiea. The mention of ********* did draw a curious gaze about the room towards one of the many more powerful energy signals in the room. The only one that seemed non-chaotic was indeed wearing a top hat. "E-yup! Looks like ********* had to deal with... is that Irene?" She had to pause slightly when another Nega approached, clocking them good across the face before returning her attentions to the chibi senshi at her side. "...I think th'cats will be fine on their own... they're much smaller so they can avoid a lot of th'danger... I think we need t'find the rest of our team, Hygiea! Victoria, Eunomia, Egeria... get ********* and Irene over 'ere..." She had laid out the game plan, now they just needed to execute it. "Irene, Victoria, Eunomia, Egeria, *********... Meet at the wall!!" she shouted once more. Perhaps this time her shouting would actually achieve something. [ORDER ROLL] [OOC Note: I will be away for most of the day, but feel free to have your characters approach Iris while I am away. Asteroids, just post. [Chaos]
In the midst of her brawling, Chariklo was feeling sick to her stomach. Not necessarily from the violence. But from the knowledge that there were ******** children in this smoky, bloody mess. The idea of tiny bodies laying cold and mangled bothered her. Well, okay, more than simply bothered. It made her want to throw up. So far, they seemed to be reasonably well protected, but she made a mental note to keep an eye out for them. If one of the Negaverse officers went after a child, she wanted to be alert so she could swoop in and get the kid out.
And then, there was a brief moment of stillness and she was able to flash an unseen grin and a sort of seen wink at Aurostbite. Moving back over to him, she bumped her hip against him playfully.
"Only doing your job, huh? Well, you can make up for swiping energy from me by buying me ice cream."
She'd been a DMC long enough to have learned how the Negaverse stole energy. Seeing Aurostbite here in uniform and knowing he'd been in uniform at the rave, well, it didn't take a Sherlock Holmes to figure out what he'd been doing to her under the guise of dancing.
"So, cutie pants," she drawled, eyes cutting across the smoky room, "what say we team up a bit. See any likely Knights we can pound into the dirt?"

Did it smell like ******** coffee in here? Howlite wondered, briefly, if Ares' smoke was starting to effect her. After this was over, she'd make sure all of her people got the strong drink of their preference, and a belly full of food for whomever could handle it. A hard shake of the head cleared that notion, and she was able to bring her attention back to the matter at hand.

She couldn't have possibly known. She couldn't have known that so few cats would have attended the meeting. Nor could she have really known what their capacity for dampening was. They had thought they'd been so clever with their plans.. so well prepared. But that thought was brought to the end with crashes, bangs, smoke, and blinding light.
The amount of chaotic energy was almost as choking and uncomfortable as the smoke that billowed caustically around the room. Niflhel had shoved her to the floor of the stage, and immediately her hands had gone to her mouth, coughing and sputtering and she wheezed in hopes of fresh air. As an eternal the smoke was not crippling, but that didn't make it easy to deal with either.
Her burning eyes squinted through the cloudy smoke, trying to make sense of the chaos in the room. What she could do. Who she could help. Where were her teammates? Where they okay!? What about the children!? She couldn't see far enough to see, and the sounds of pained screams and falling bodies did not help at all.
Bile rose to the back of her throat both a mixture of nervousness and the toxic smoke. She had just said it was her duty to shoulder her part of the battle wasn't it? Whatever it was it had to be fast.
As quickly as she'd powered down earlier, the eternal senshi of magnetism once again doned the form of a Princess, struggling to make it up from the stage and onto her feet again. Her white wings flapped in quick and deliberate motions trying her best to disapate as much of the smoke as she could.
Amid all the clashing bodies, flying attacks, and disorienting smokes and sparks it was hard to decide what to do. But there was something she could definately do. Draw attention.
The surge of power left Polaris as, for the moment, the strongest Order aura in the room. Surely someone would notice that. And if not...
Her eyes focused finally on the woman who had cast that wall of horrendous smoke. The same smoke that had rendered her unconcious in the Surrounding. Zirconia wasn't here anymore, but Polaris would still stand by her silent promise to the cat woman. She would help take down the dark queen.
"I've got something for you Ares!" Her arms rose, voice booming in an attempt to grab as much attention as possible and hopefully give the weaker and injured a chance to flee.
"Super Magnetic field" That huge chandiler from before that had been calling to her? It now found itself careening towards the queen of the Dark Mirror Senshi.(( Attack - Polaris can choose one metallic object in the area to aim and 'throw' at an enemy. In this case a metal chandelier with lots of light bulbs on it. ))

[CHAOS Roll]
Shame, deep seated shame, it fed on emotions better left hidden in dark recesses of his mind. There were so many senshi here who’s names he did not yet know, so many powers he had not documented and that were muddled up into the terrible chaos of the battle. His breath came for that minute in sharp panicky bursts, judging him. Every single agent of Chaos here was judging him, their lives depended on his orders, his information. More than their weapons, more than their ranks they relied on him.
They trusted him because he had put forth the monumental effort to climb the ranks of the dark kingdom to this stage. He had fit whatever amorphous framework made a desirable General King in the Dark Kingdom.
Small wonder there were always those who were constantly disrespectful, always doubting despite being a fresh face in the crowd, or nearly an inactive one. What then, what then could he do when faced with the shame of his failure?
His hands clenched and unclenched as he struggled to shake off the attack, there was no undoing it though till the allotted time had past and then, then if felt like he could –breathe- again. Yes, there would always be doubt. Yes, he could not save them all. YES, some people would always behave like they were part of the order side of things, snarling and balking at the organized system they were part of as though they would forever be free of any lash back for their behaviors.
But he HAD risen to this rank, the circumstances had been complex but he had not done so poorly as his own self-doubt, his own personal senses of shame would have him believe.
“What a fascinating attack.” He growled, trading cold anger for shame. “I’ll make a note of you.”
He hurled another smoke bomb Into the crowd, towards whatever he could find for the thickest cluster of senshi, preferably low rank to keep them from swarming as it seemed they had a propensity to do.

No one had given DAHLIA a gasmask.
It was a thought that brought an angry few tail lashes from the dark Guardian as she slunk low to the ground, hacking and coughing in a far less lady like manner then she'd ever want to be seen as. Yes it had been short notice. Sure.. they probably didn't MAKE masks for cats. But that still didn't help to sooth the cat with the princess mentality's annoyance. Why hadn't they thought of her? She was VERY important after all. Too both the Negaverse and the DMC. Where would they be without her? Hmphhh.
Her nose wriggled, and her eyes burned, but after a few moments she was finally able to make enough sense of things to begin to carefully traverse the battlefield. It wasn't likely many people saw her, so tiny and similiarly colored to the smoke. But she was very concerned with dancing gracefully between all the quickly moving feet. She was mostly looking for dark senshi to help, but that didn't stop her from swipping out some sharp claws at an unprotected ankle as she passed. High heels were great for making a lady look good sure. But they didn't offer much protect. Good thing fuku's didn't always care about being protective or logical.
