Ganymede wasn’t paying any attention to any looks he might have been getting from other people. He was allowed to not like royalty—whoever they may be—and he was allowed to say whatever he wanted to say about them. He didn’t care if other people felt differently—more power to them—so long as they didn’t expect him to go along with their groveling and a**-kissing.
Besides, now that that was over, he felt there were more important things to be discussing and he wasn't of a mind to allow himself to be drawn in to any other disagreements or verbal altercations. He'd said his piece and Chronos had said hers. They probably had at least somewhat of a better understanding of each other now than they had before—he'd give her credit for apologizing even if he still retained some of his hard feelings—though he could still not consider her a friend, nor did he expect her to consider him one.
He knew he wasn't always easy to like.
“I met a Sailor Lesath,” he said. “She was busy draining some energy from a dude I suspect she lured out there with her assets.”
He made a motion to his notably flat chest to emphasize exactly which assets he was talking about.
“Totally classy,” he added sarcastically. “She called her energy draining thing off when I showed up and made an issue out of it, but I can’t say how any of the others would react. I didn’t feel particularly threatened at that point, though she made a comment about me joining up with them. Didn’t push too hard for it, though, so I don’t know for sure how serious she was about it.”

Wrapped up in the fact that Seal's Eye had suddenly appeared out of nowhere and was there with her had somewhat dulled Chibimoon to the fact that there was a storm brewing around her. The topic had shifted at some point to the least favorite, perhaps most avoided subject in the presence of the candy-colored princess: the Dark Moon Court. There were really a whole basket full of reasons that Small Lady didn't wish to discuss what she thought were parallel parasites on their universe but it all really boiled down to the fact that Ares had loved Nehelenia. Nehelenia had once made it her purpose to steal Chibiusa's father from her mother, kidnap and enslave the dream priest whom Chibiusa loved, and then tried to throw her off a building to her death. No, Chibimoon did not have very positive feelings for the Dark Moon Court. Added to that was the fact that Chronos was leaving and had said..something? No the atmosphere was not really that friendly towards the Princess of the Equinox and her court for reasons that were unfathomable to her. It was, however, the same atmosphere that had the moon senshi keeping her head ducked and low during all of these meetings. These senshi did not want to follow any princess at random, they wanted to blaze the way. When you had all leaders and no followers nothing ever got done, but Chibimoon was not about to volunteer herself for the headache. No, not her. Not ever again. Allowing Juno to pull her away the pink-haired princess nodded slightly. "I do not like the talk anyway. I think it would make me very angry to listen; do you want to wait outside for now?"

"Knights need to watch out for Leto, especially," Valhalla spoke up when the topic of individual DMS was brought up. "I've never crossed paths with her, but she's already killed a Page..." he added, his eyes lowered from the crowd, despite talking to them. He didn't dare say that Remarque, one of their own had told him. The same Remarque that a couple others were commenting on his sly ways.
Could it be that he was lying to him? No... Even Polaris was warning knights about the DMC and to stay away from them. He truly believed that Remarque had been telling him the truth about Leto, whom he never mentioned by name, but ever since Europa shared what she knew the first time the Jovians came together, it wasn't difficult to piece together with the hints Remarque left for him.
"There was another... Al-Janah... He attacked me without question. Said their goal was to corrupt senshi or to kill them, no middle ground." Sure, he'd gotten out of that encounter with minor cuts and bruises, but it was also one he would like not to repeat.

Juno didn't know how much Chibimoon had heard, but she didn't seem as entirely upset as the amazonian had worried she might be. She was thankful for both that and the lack of resistance at moving along. Her hand loosened and left Chibi's porcelain skin, letting her full arm rest a little more affectionately around the shorter girl's shoulders instead.
Though her full memories of it all were lost to her mind it did not mean that Juno didn't remember bits and pieces. They were the kind of memories that cropped up most often in nightmares, perhaps tainted all the more by her dreaming mind. She knew what was important though.. That once upon a time her soul had been corrupted and possessed by Chaos and the Dark Moon Circus. And she knew she hated Nehelenia, Ares, hell.. even Zirconia, though she'd luckily not noticed or realized the cat girl was present. Even when the parallels had been 'on their side' Juno hadn't been able to push away that hatred. So yeah.. she really could care less about hearing about the DMC either. Especially if it was going to upset her friend in the process.
Really she didn't even care that much about the information on any of the topics. Things were pretty simple with Juno anyway. It smelled like Chaos? Pummel it into the ******** ground.
Lapsing into Japanese, the language that she knew made Allie most comfortable, she nodded, chattering on. "We can wait outside for awhile and come back later if you want. Or just get the hell out of here all together. I'm fine with whatever."
"I can show you my awesome handstand. I can hold myself up with just one hand now!"

There was a lot of things people were talking about, some of which he'd heard before, and some he hadn't. He wrinkled his nose at Tsui's response, though. "Being the underdog means we're expected to lose. Underdog and Cinderella stories suck," he said with a frown that looked more like a pout. He didn't want to lose... He wasn't going to say that out loud, of course, but... come on!
When people started talking about the different senshi in the DMC, Oberon pulled out his phone so he could open up an app and maybe take some notes, but upon flipping it open...
"Ugh, whose idea was it to not give us internet access on these things?!" he whined, collapsing dramatically onto the table he was sitting at. "You can't DO anything with these!! They're just... lame magical phones... They'd be more useful with internet...
He trailed off eventually, before people could start getting on him for talking out of turn when they were discussing important, serious stuff, but how was he supposed to remember who was bad and who was okay if he couldn't take notes?? "At least provide us with proper note taking materials if there's not gonna be snacks," he moped, wincing as he hit his head against the table and then reached up to flip off the pointy tiara for a bit. Ugh...

Nodding and feeling a bit more comfortable with what was going on, Chibimoon waited until they were away from the main group to let her true emotions show. It was another one of those things that she had learned to do when in one of those large groups, when everyone was looking at you for answers or just something that was a crack in the facade of the perfectly perfect princess. It was a thing that she always strove for and though everyone around her swore it was unnecessary, Small Lady bearing the name Serenity would always be convinced she was falling short. Her mother tongue ran out like a brook at that point, all but babbling. "I don't really understand why in the world nobody ever wants to work together, or listen! 'Their kind'! What, like we're not senshi, like we don't want to all work together and get the same things done just because we're royal? Do they not understand that senshi are just as good as royalty in some cases? Or are they jealous of the power? I just don't understand it Juno, I really really don't. I'm just glad they've stopped looking at me because it all hurts." The reaction the green-clad senshi had worried about, just on time delay! Distress was obvious in her tone of voice if anyone could hear the quietly-impassioned speech in a foreign language, but the content was thankfully knowable to very few. For a long moment Coralie rested her head against Aitana's shoulder. It was a very strong shoulder to lean on which was why the petite princess relied on it so much sometimes. "We should hang out just in case something important happens. I'd feel bad if we left and I could have actually done something useful." And then, wistfully: "I wish I could go home." It didn't seem like a betrayal to say that to Aitana because back home, in her time and place, Juno was there. Lapsing back into English because it seemed like the right thing to do, Chibimoon matched her shorter strides to Juno's longer ones with a bit of a smile. "We should work on a backflip. You promised you would teach me!"

And there it was.
The sudden 'breaking of the dam' drew a momentary surprised eyebrow raise from Juno, but as quick as it was there it was gone and her fingers began to move a little as if to squeeze or massage the other girl's shoulder. Small Lady was so very cute, and her over worrying was endearing in it's own way, even if Juno wished it didn't weigh on her so much. Her concerns were valid, and not really a very uncommon compliant. It WAS very frusterating that everyone didn't just listen to Chibimoon and do what she said. Or even if not that.. just work together long enough to get the job done, and save the bickering for after the fact.
"Eventually something will happen that makes them listen. Something big enough to get them over their pride and more concerned with winning and surviving." Was she really suggesting patience? Aitana!? It seemed stressful times offered occasional freak wisdom.
Her friend's wish to go home was met with a tender brushing of her cheek. A silent promise was spoken in her own mind to try and find a way to grant it someday.
"Backflip!" The somberness that had momentarily touched her face was gone, replaced once more by her usual boyish smirk. "That is right. You have been doing the slack-ing out type thing, yes? Tsk tsk." Poking teasingly, Juno helped lead the way towards the door Lina had disappeared out of. They could peek in later to see what was going on.

Neso didn't react to Valhalla's change in expression. He was happy to do whatever Chronos needed, blindly. It was the way that he was built, and he saw no reason to change it when doing things for Chronos made him so happy. Even when she said his name to get him to step aside, Neso simply turned to her, smile returning brighter than before and said, "Sure thing, princess." When Chronos said she had to go attend an audience, a dangerous one at that, Neso felt an uncomfortable spark of bile pinch in his gut. "I'm with you, princess. I can go with you?" He was trailing behind her, still firmly holding her hand. "Maybe Virgo could come, if we waited." Neso would not leave Chronos' side, period, but he also was by no means the greatest weapon in her arsenal. He was more like the adorable puppy who pretended to guard the arsenal but really just liked running around in circles pursuing his own tail.

Tsui did her best not to laugh at Oberon's situation, not because she found the his pain enjoyable, but rather, she could definitely understand his turmoil. These magical phones were rather pathetic compared to all the new fandangled phones they were coming out monthly. In response to his underdog comment, she kept onto the optimistic side, something that was relatively easy for her. "They're expected to lose, but they're cheered on anyway. They try their best and overcome great odds. And at the end, they're big, goddamn heroes! So long as they never give up."
It was more to cheer him up than anything. Given her stance on diplomacy, however, she was more than prepared for him, or another, to try to counter her optimism, and let them. It was obvious that no one was willing to step away from their ideals long enough to reach some kind of consensus, and Tsui wasn't going to be the one to try. Not today. She pulled out her phone and snapped a picture of Oberon, half asking for permission, half stating. "If you ever need any help, call me. I've decided I like you."

Athene hadn’t had much experience with the Dark Mirror senshi – in fact what experience he’d had had amounted to exactly two run-ins. The first, the dark-haired senshi recognised from some of the names being called out, the name bringing to memory the tall blond that he’d spoken to while out on patrol back when he’d been suffering from the runny nose of doom.
“I’ve met a Super Sailor Remarque” It was his first vocal contribution to the meeting. “Although he didn’t seem that bad to me.” Hesitating as he tried to recall the details from his conversation with the blond Dark Mirror senshi, Athene added “He said that he didn’t care much for the Negaverse although he had some weird notions about what he called ‘our leaders’. I’ve also met a Sailor Virtus.”
Then it occurred to the dark-haired senshi, that the others probably didn’t have a clue who was speaking and added slightly awkwardly “Uh, I’m Sailor Athene by the way.

Zirconia reacted to Hug-Bell, and then Hygeia's oncoming presence, by shrinking back down into a full feline and sinking her head between her shoulders, taking on the appearance of an angry pillar of fur.
And then her least favorite subject came up.
Everyone was guessing and theorizing, but Zirc didn't need to. She'd heard it all from the horse's mouth. She hadn't told anyone about that day, in a moment of weakness, she visited Ares face to face in her mirrorspace where the self styled 'Queen' lived now. And she really didn't want to.
As they went on, Zirconia shifted restlessly and even went about changing forms like she couldn't get comfortable. On second she was an agitated cat, the next a cat girl blushing with obvious, embarrassing secrets. And finally, she decided to just leave.
Sort of. She turned and started moving towards the door to make her escape, but when she got there, she stared at her bare feet and pondered just what she was doing. Would leaving them to figure it out be considered a betrayal? Maybe Castor was right to question her loyalties.
Castor being right would just suck.
"I know what they want," She said, finally, turning around and trying her hardest to project and not flee."...A few months ago..." Like, before she started shunning all life and becoming a hermit, "I visited Ares in Mirrorspace. I spoke to her face to face."
There was a long pause before she spoke up again, feeling a bit less confident than she was earlier when she was talking about diplomacy and cavaliers and the like.
"Before anyone who's not 100% filled in wonders, I'm Ares'... Or I was... her guardian cat." She gulped, took a deep breath, and suddenly the floodgates opened. "Ares is out to rebuild a kingdom, but not yours. She wants space, and subjects, and if you won't corrupt, then you're in her way. She doesn't recruit like the Negaverse, she can force it on you. I can't describe how dangerous she is." A bit of a pause was needed here. "She's lost. Ever since Nehelenia died, we've been so hopeless. Our family is dead or lost to us, we'll never see our home again, and Ares has been on a downward spiral I never wanted to see. But now she has the power she craves and she will feed all of you to Chaos to fill the void. But...Something's wrong. We're cut off from the other side but somehow she's injecting souls into people. At least I think so, their eyes change color. But the way she forces people... if she had contact with the other side, I don't think she'd keep going the way she is. I'm not sure what's she's doing, but maybe I could figure it out if I had one on one time with a senshi she's corrupted?" Zirconia had descended into a bit of a ramble. "But the point is... She's hurting my people as much as yours. Even if just by reputation with her illusions. She's a usurper of our queen and I know she's too far gone to be saved. I've already mourned her, but whatever's left in that body needs to be killed."
Yeah, she promised herself she wouldn't broach the topic of killing. But with Ares the False Queen, it was different.
"As for their alliance with the Negaverse, Ares needs them until she has an army, but I think it can easily be broken. I'd suggest trying, somehow, to demolish that. Don't forget, Ares drew first blood when the BMC tortured those Negaversers. There's no way they can totally trust her. And they shouldn't. Ares was my senshi for decades and she turned on me."
Zirconia was finally out of words and kind of wanted to go back to being small again. As businesslike and cold as she wanted to be on the subject it was impossible and she hated this icky, emotional stuff.

Unlike the topic before information was absolutely pouring in over the Dark Mirror Senshi. And Polaris for one was eating it up. Names were filed in her mind for later use, and after a moment she lifted her hand, adding a few names to mix too. "Sailor Requiem is another one. And.. I don't exactly recall the name of the other girl but I met one once with short red hair and freckles, and a black and brown dress."
The emotion and weight in Zirconia's words were obvious when she finally spoke and Polaris offered the cat girl a soft look of sympathy, whether or not she saw it. As the senshi had thought, her information was full and frightening. And as someone who knew the woman... or.. cat woman personally, she was inclined to believe every word.
If Zirconia needed her, or ever came to ask, Polaris would be there beside her to take down the dark Princess. Maybe that would even free those under her spell.

Tsui's eyes shifted to Super Sailor Athene and her smile was hard to hide now. Would he recognize her as one of the civilians he had saved? She was willing to wave him over and see, however, Zirconia had taken a different form and once again warranted everyone's attention. 'Later then, Athene...'
It all seemed so complicated to Tsui, listening to Zirconia's explanations and trying her best to overcome her own anger that she felt earlier in the meeting to take in her words. Or, at least the important bits. She waited until she was certain that she was done, and for the first time, Tsui actually tried to choose her words carefully, not wanting to anger her intentionally or unintentionally.
"So, if we were to get rid of this Ares, what would that mean for the Senshi she's corrupted? Would they die too, or will they want to be purified? Then, what if they DON'T want to be purified, even after her death? Then what should we do?" It was a pretty big issue to Tsui; she had little love for the DMC as a whole, but if the root of the problem could be taken out with only one death, then what would become of the rest? As much as she wanted to fight Remarque again, she still did not want to outright kill a guy for doing nothing but showing loyalty to what he felt was his queen/princess. At least they had one, as evil as she may be. "And suppose there was a way to split the alliance between the two, the Negaverse and the DMC? If this Ares is the true evil and the Negaverse doesn't trust them, then it shouldn't be too hard to play them against one another, right?"
It was a thought, anyway, one that Tsui was certain would be shot down immediately. But, dammit, she was at LEAST going to throw it on the table before she was driven out.

Standing there in her red cloak Albali felt suddenly like she needed to be gone, away from this place, to somewhere else entirely. There was a part of her that was incredibly proud and a little bit in awe of the way Zirconia stood up against the scrutiny of the entire room. Not only was the guardian not from this dimension (supposedly) but she was affiliated with the group that not even most of the senshi would claim alliance with simply because they were considered to be monsters. What she'd said, though, Albali could only find fault with.
Only would find fault with. Her infatuation with the host of the Princess of Smoke had put nothing but blinders in front of her eyes where Ares' actions were concerned. Had Albali wanted to torture those people for information? Not especially. The amount of blood and gore that had come from that span of time had caused even her to hesitate, caused her to back away just a little bit but never had her faith and loyalty wavered. Even to this day when everything was said and done Albali would have defended anything the Blood Moon Queen had decided to execute in the name of what she thought was right.
Couldn't it be that what Ares had told Zirconia was what she thought was right for them all? Ares didn't want this kingdom she wanted her own out in space. Out where there wasn't anyone to hurt, but perhaps the only way to do that was to make a deal with a power less tolerable than they would have liked. There had to be some kind of honorable, logical answer to everything that was being done that Zirconia either could not or would not see. Just because she had supposedly served Nehelenia and known Ares on the (supposed) other side of the mirror did not mean that she understood what the Fallon part of that senshi was thinking and doing.
There was only one Princess Ares to her and Sailor Albali was sworn to follow her into damnation, fire, and darkness no matter where the path led because Albali believed that Ares was doing what was right. Albali was weak, she had been left behind, but she was becoming stronger. Stronger so that one day she would be standing again at Ares' right hand so that she could understand what had happened and why. Though she respected Zirconia for standing in the face of adversity and speaking what she thought was right, she could not respect the words that came from her mouth due to the sheer betrayal contained within.
Turned on Zirconia? No. Zirconia had turned on her. It took everything inside the Senshi of Echoes not to cry out that the purple-furred cat was wrong, that Ares would never hurt someone simply to hurt them and that something else was going on, but no one would have listened. They would have only turned on Albali instead, reducing her position in their midst to someone to be suspicious of and so she held her silence. The time would come and then they would all see, see and regret that they had not joined sooner.

"What if you were to find the Negaversers that survived the BMC's torture? Maybe send knights to uh, to find and try talking to them, if you think they'd be more uh, a, um...what is the word...apt to speak with a knight, rather than a senshi?" The orange and white cat, still sitting on a table to one side of the room, asked.
"The Negas who were tortured and the ones closest to them prolly aren't too happy with whatever uh, erm...alliance the Negaverse has with the Dark Mirror folk. I'd be willing to bet they prolly don't want them hanging around. That could be the ah, the, the, the....the weak link between the two."
Pravoski wasn't the best talker in the world. Articulating his thoughts, which sometimes went too fast in his mind to be able to spit out, was often difficult, but he was trying to do as good a job as he could. Sadly this little idea of his would likely not be well met to those not favoring the diplomacy method, but that wasn't something he was too concerned with. He never concerned himself with what people thought of him anyway.
"Maybe it could start some in-fighting. Let the agents of Chaos take out each other. Or uh...maybe at least um..weaken one another. Or be erm...distracted? While they're fighting each other, y'know? Maybe some of 'em will turn to the light 'cause they can't ummm can't....oh..." if he had a brow, it would have been furrowed as she sought the word he was after, paws flailing, "tolerate their side anymore?"
