 ~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Radagon had once again failed to make a simple bowline knot. He had a horrible feeling someone was just sapping all his luck for their own use, but he knew for a fact that luck was not increased by chakra in anyway, only physical and mental attributes. He knew this when his father had tried to increase the luck on himself by trying to make a jutsu that simply made him luckier. But no amount research lead him anywhere, except on jutsu that made him stronger, quicker, and such. Radagon looked around again, and noticed that someone who had been behind him was now way ahead. He had to catch up, but this crap he was dealing with was keeping him back. Every time he went to make a knot, the damn thing would, just fall apart and he would end up with a mess of rope all clutered up and useless, no where near a title of 'knot'. Keeping his cool, Radagon continued his work. But first, he took care of the rope he had and tossed it to the side like the others. Getting up and quickly grabbing a small batch of rope, Radagon laid them all on his desk and sat back down. He now had a good amoun t of rope to work with, so he was going to finish this no matter what.

Finding that his Alpine Loop was holding successfully, Hizen made sure he retied it a few time so that he was sure he understood the knot and could do it quickly and efficiently should it be needed. ”And not a moment too soon. We’ve only got like 10 minutes before time is up. Whew… Who knew that knots were so hard?”
Hizen collected all the ropes and testing devices that he had scattered around his work area. Placing them all back inside the kit, Hizen took his kit and text book back up to the desk where the chuunin instructor was sitting. Placing the kit, book, and example knots on the desk, Hizen addressed the chuunin. ”Sensei, I’ve completed a fair selection of the knots from the instructions in the book. May I please be excused?”

Shiro came to a near crashing halt as she was tired and couldn't run any more, she let out a obvious growl as she came to a stop on all fours. She panted heavily and looked forward, and then back, nothing had changed, she hadn't gotten any closer to the door, and the infinite hallway extending out behind her was no different. This was frustrating her. She scrunched her face up and plopped onto the ground sitting on her bottom. She stared at the door and then looked at the wall. Then back again at the odd hall. "Well... this has to be like a genjutsu..." she states nodding lightly since she didn't believe in ghosts. "and if I did believe in ghosts, why would one of this caliber be HERE of all places?" she states out loud remembering some of the things that her mother had said about ghost stories. "So... Ghost is ruled out... it HAS to be a genjutsu." she states nodding slowly. "And if its genjutsu... then..." She tipped her head to the side crossing her arms over her chest. Bou let out a little yip "Yes, I know Bou I'm trying to remember how that technique works, I haven't really had a chance to try it yet ya know... I have only just been told about it by papa." she states nodding some as she looked to Bou. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath "Well... I suppose there's no loss in trying right?" she states as she pressed her hands together in the appropriate seal. ((263 words Shiro thinks its genjusu she wants to try to release it.)) Mai noticed one other the other students at finished the ten knots they were meant to do, she hoped she would finish soon as well, she didn’t really enjoy spending so much time at the academy, it was getting a little creepy, and with the announcement before it gave her light chills as she thought about it. She decided to take a moment to look around and see who else was left here with her, she looked up and around, it seemed the only people left were the teacher, who looked to be reading something, and the other two were a really tall girl, that Mai hadn’t notice, how she didn’t know. Maybe she came in while I was looking at the book, or maybe I am just a horrible person who didn’t see her. Mai looked to the other person, who was also tall, she felt a little short at the moment, the other person was a guy who looked to be having a really hard time. After looking around the room for a bit, she remembered that she wasn’t even close to finishing her own knots, this wasn’t really the time to be staring at the other students, she went back to her work, as she look down at the book and flipped to the next page, she signed a little, the new knot was just the old knot she had learnt, but looped back on itself. It was called a Retraced Figure eight, she looped the robe like before, but rather than just follow the steps from before, she twisted the tail around the other side of the robe, rather than the loop, then followed though and made a Figure eight knot, then she made a new loop with the tail of the robe, and retraced the robe around the knot, making a really big figure eight knot. Jynn leaned against a wobbling wall, closing his eyes and leaning his head back. His breathing was heavy, as if he had been running a marathon or three, and then went for a swim. This hall way, whatever it was justsu or not, was starting to wear him out. His head throbbed painfully, as if a mental vice grip was clamping down to his temples, gradually squeezing harder and harder. Jynn stopped focusing on his trick, and immediately he felt his pain lessen. He needed a moment to rest, to gather his thoughts. The childish chanting was quickly becoming routine, even if it was louder, seeming to come from all sides. Jynn couldn't be sure of it, but he thought he could hear a steady low growling, an undercurrent of bass to the childs' soprano. Cold sweat trickled down the boy's brow, his mind racing. What could he do? His gift had only made things worse, and he had no idea what was going on still. He could still see the exit, and a long door. But he had been walking for what seemed like ever, and he had made zero progress towards either one. 'What if I just gave up? He thought, dragging his hands over his face. The moment he thought that, the growl started to break up. As if the monster in the shadows was laughing at him for thinking it. The girls giggled as well, but it seemed inviting, desirable. Jynn felt his mouth spread into a small, contented smile as he started to hum with the song. What else could he do, but to accept his fate? He was trapped here, now and forever. Not even his trick could help him here. The door.... The growling chuckle became louder and became a steady snarl. The singing became more sinister, if that was possible, as he tried to work out his thoughts. He could see the door, that much was true. But no matter how far he walked, there was just no getting to it. What if he tried something else, then? Jynn lightly pushed himself from the wall, his body swaying and stumbling for a step or two as he regained his balance. The boy opened his eyes, the sight of the twisting and warping hall returning to him. The entire corridor was black still, and the only visible objects were the two doors: the exit, and the one to a room. Jynn had no idea where the door on the wall went, but there was one thing for certain: it was a hell of a lot closer than the exit. He could at least make it there, and figure out a better game plan. Or he could die. Jynn didn't want to entertain that idea too much. He gulped and started to focus his chakra, holding his hands up to his torso. He pressed his palms together and started to perform hand seals in a steady rhythm, staying in tempo with the singing. He quietly imposed his chakra into the world around him, weaving his will into the walls. The steady current of growling became more angry, every now and then a sharp snarl. Jynn continued to perform his signs, letting his energy flow freely from him. If he couldn't make his way to the door, he would have to make it come to him. The boy drowned out as much noise as he could, focusing only on the seals and the image of the door, sliding its way along the wall and right towards him. He closed his eyes as he focused, the eye lids tightly shut, praying silently that this worked. Quote: GM Notes:

Your character is retired until morning. He will wake up from where he normal wakes up covered in a cold sweat as though the past events were naught but a hellish dream.
You now take a -5 regardless of this event being in progress or not, you are RPically sluggish and exhausted. Dark bangs hold beneath your sunken eyes and you find yourself extremely anti-social and slightly hostile. The sound of laughter haunts you in the day time.

Hand in hand with everyone who was willing to ho and help that student that went into the hallway, the time it too get to the start to the creepy hallway that was causing his curiousity and some issues at the same time. As they ran, Kuro took a deep breath and continued to run just looking straight forward. The weird thing though was that the hallway continued to extend itself so that the door would continually get further and further away. Unfortunately he wasn't all that much of a runner so his endurance wasn't all that good. Having to slow down, Kuro started to look around. Where did they go?! Both Loric and Miyuki were now gone! Something was happening and he wasn't liking this any more. The doorway was now so far away that he could barely see it, and turning his head over his shoulders he couldn't see the exit any more. Breathing heavily, the young shinobi was trying to figure out what was going on. Then it hit him, if it was a Genjutsu he'd be able to fight it since it was his family's specialty. Closing his eyes, he started to focus his mind on what was going around him. He needed to try and break what ever hold this area had on him. Loric looked around in a slight panic. His plan to go in as a group had failed utterly and now he found himself just as trapped at his lost teammate. "Ok, ok, ok...ok..." Standing firmly, Loric gazed down the hallway that seemed to go on infinately. Realizing that at this point there was simply no way he could save her, Loric turned his focus instead to saving himself. "What was I thinking...? Trying to be a hero." he whispered to himself in defeat. Turning around slowly, Loric decided to head for the exit, he was astonished to see that there was none in sight. "What the hell is going on!" he screamed in terror. Closing his eyes, he did the only thing that he could think to do. By focusing his chakra, Loric tried to home in on the one scent that he could remember, the smell of Miyuki's shampoo. The moment he locked onto her, his eyes snapped open and he began to mad dash directly in reverse, heading for the exit. After a few moments, Loric reappeared panting directly outside the academy. Mai looked at the book a again and wondered what form of the figure eight knot she was going to be tying this time, she was surprised to see that it was a different knot this time, she smiled a little knowing that it was something new was kind of neat. The next knot on her list was something called a Clove knot looking at it and reading about it, it seemed like an easy knot, and something that she would be able to do easily. Mai took a moment to look around again at the other people in class, she hadn’t really been able to meet anyone yet, with her being late and then getting drawn into this assignment , she was hoping she would be able to talk to the other students, but she wasn’t really good at starting discussion, she had gained the weird shyness sense moving to the village, she knew that she wasn’t like this back home. As she thought about it more, she knew why she was now a little shy, it was because she wasn’t used to being in this place, back home she was happy and comfortable, she knew what was going on and that it was safe around her, now that was gone. As she thought about things she felt tightness on her finger, she looked down to notice she had tied her fingers together. Sanyo wasn’t really addressed by the others but she wanted to help her classmate as well and a chain of people might be the safest method to rescue the girl who went into the creepy hallway. They made it to the door hand in hand and suddenly the entire front portion of the line vanished through the door, four students quickly became two girls who were in the medical field. That meant their strength wasn’t a strong suit. Miyuki showed her dislike of the situation and the same fears had reached Sanyo’s mind, were they all eaten by the ghost? As her mind went into over drive Loric rushed back out the door. “ You are alive! And you aren’t a zombie!” Sanyo exclaimed aloud excited to see the door didn’t mean certain doom. “ So maybe the others are alright too?” she questioned aloud, still worried about the reason for the mysterious door. “ Should we get Yoshi-Sensei-Sama now?” It seemed like the best course of action though they all might get in trouble at this point.

"Release." Shiro states in a low growl as she tried to use her chakra to break what she was sure to be a genjutsu. Her eyes remained closed for awhile afterwards as nothing sounded or smelled any different and that was beginning to really bother her. Maybe this genjutsu was effecting her nose too? She slowly opened her eyes to see the same dark hall, creepy door and flickering light. She glowered at it for a bit as she watched the light flicker. "...Bou... Either I did the release technique wrong, or its not a genjutsu... and we aren't in sound academy anymore..." she states slowly as she looked at the door with a derisive glare again. She remained seated on the floor for a little longer before getting to her feet. She took a step forward and watched the door move. She slowly tipped her head to the side and sharpened her gaze staring at the door as she took another step forward and watched the door move again. "...Hm..." she hums curiously. "I wonder..." she states looking back behind her before taking a step in that direction. The hall did the same as the door. She slowly nodded again. "...door... or hall... I know the hall would lead away from here... but... that door. It's so scary, and what it's doing... " she furrowed her brow. "I... need to stop that door from doing what it's doing before it hurts any of my class mates." she states nodding firmly. Shiro closed her eyes and stepped sideways to the wall to put her hand against the wall. It felt solid, like she had expected it too. She kept her eyes shut and breathed decisively and slowly as she took a step backwards. She stopped and knelt down, slipping her shoes off of her feet. She reached into the bag with Bou and put her shoes in there. "Don't chew... Bou, or no soft food for a week." she states firmly before standing again putting her bare feet to the floor. Solid, like the walls, and the floor assuredly wasn't moving. She took a deep breath and took a step backward it felt like she was walking, so would this work? She let out the deep breath and took another step in reverse, surely if going forward wouldn't work this could work right? Surely it made as much sense as the whole thing being genjutsu, so perhaps it was playing by some kind of rule. So she kept her eyes shut and sniffed into the air as she walked in reverse towards the door. ((434 words Shiro is going to try walking in reverse... I dunno sounds good to me.)) It seemed that Mai couldn’t really let her mind wonder so much while she was working on knots, seeing as she had just tied her fingers together , she pulled the robe off her finger and then undid the knots she had made in it while she had been thinking. She looked down at the book an read a little about the knot so she would understand what to do this time, unlike the other knots she had done, this one use another object, that was part of the reason she tied herself up. With that in mind she smiled and grabbed a pen, and began by looping around the pen, then looped around the other side of the pen, then pushed the tail of the robe under the overlapped loops, pushing it out the other side, then pulling on it tightly to secure the knot, she smiled a little as she seemed to have finished it. Mai was rather happy with her progress, it seemed to have been going rather well, she maybe able to finish this in no time if thing were going to stay like this, she was still upset that she had been late, but she would be able to work on that. Miyuki was surprised when Loric came rushing from nowhere. “Are you okay? What happened?” She cried out. It was at that moment that Sanyo suggested that they inform their sensei about the current situation. While Miyuki did agree with this course of action, she was not looking forward to seeing the lecherous man during the afterhours. Of course, she was in the company of many of her peers, as well as the situation called for immediate action. “We should,” Miyuki nodded in agreement, “We do not want this situation to escalate to the point where the others get hurt, among other possibilities.”Miyuki was still holding Sanyo’s hand firmly, so she grabbed Loric’s as well. She continued to question about what had happened to the young boy once he had vanished from her sight. Though, she tried not to push the subject until the point that he became uncomfortable. As soon as the three arrived at the classroom, Miyuki thrust open the door and walked through. “Yoshi-sensei, we have a problem!” The young girl stated alarmingly. “A few of the students disappeared into the hallway,” she continued rambling on about her personal experience, as well as the possibilities of what may have happened to the other students.

So it would seem that this hallway had the ability to change, depending on what you had attempted to do. Not fancying the idea of falling into the abyss below, Takuya quickly wrapped the fabric he had intended to use for to climb into the roof around his waist, and then to the railing. Slowly sliding down the rails pressing against his body painfully he shrugged off the pain, moving his hands to the rails so he could press himself upwards. This was most certainly some sort of construction against his thoughts. Something that would react to his actions? He had no doubt that this was indeed a hallucination like the. Closing his eyes he focused, ignoring the slipping sensation and adamantly forcing him self to disbelieve that the hall had dropped like that. In his mind he kept repeating the announcement from earlier, that it was only a hallucination, forcing himself to believe it. PC: 50+ [100+75 - 200 ] /10 = 47% Failed

Yoshinaga-sensei nodded his towards the two boys as they presented them with their finished work. Glancing towards the dark outside beyond the window, the man let out an exasperated sigh before gingerly raising to his feet, not bothering to place the rope into his cabinet as he did so. There would be plenty time for that another day. "Ok, detention is over, everybody. Go home before your parents get worried." Stretching out his limbs, he made his way to the door and opened to let the students out before adding on, "Those that did not finish.. do believe this is not over."
Once the last student had made their way out of the classroom, he retired himself to his desk and yawned loudly. Why did children have to be so stupid? Pinching the bridge of his nose wearily, Yoshinaga barely looked up as the three students rushed into his room. Barely listening to what Miyuki was raving about, the teacher could only focus on the fact that damned boy was holding Miyuki's hand. Gritting his teeth he rose to his feet and pulled the girl into a comforting embrace. "Calm down, calm down. What hallway? Take me there." It wouldn't be long before the students led the perverted sensei to a wall where the supposed hallway once was.
Insisting that it was all in their heads and that they should go home, Yoshinaga dissuaded the students from arguing with him any longer and sent them each on their way home.
