Though the hypnosis was stronger, so much stronger as the pokemon would go down in a snap. Though the Gastly wasn't done as she took a risk and counter- attack as she would move close to the steel pokemon and give her a long and harsh licking.
For the moment the cat was being ignored as it would seem that the Gastly had decided to end this battle as quickly as she possible could.

The Gastly would rush in, as Ironclaw would slowly fall over, in a mound of metal... and with that tongue out, looking to Lick the fallen bird, Claudandas stood in the nest of metal parts, trying frantically to rouse her...
Looking back at the Gastly, suddenly he leapt forward, tiny fangs beared, body small and lithe, with tail on end, he would stand protectively before her!
[You're not getting past me!!!] He would call out loud, more a meowl than a roar, but none the less, he inhaled... and exhaled, a Yawn bubble, right for that open mouth, just like he'd seen Jasmine do with the Rhyhorn!
And Jasmine meanwhile, watching on where Burnout had dropped her... called out, suddenly- "WAKE UP!!!"
"Wake up and show him your Leer already!!!"
She had the plan... now they just needed to get Ironclaw awake!!!
But would the glowing eyes rear themselves upon the ghost or not?

Both moves would work ....as the Gastly would feel the pull of the yawn and yawn as well ....even as the leer would lower her attack. Though she wasn't so worried about attacking anyway ...as she couldn't help wondering why the choose such weak attacks as she would move backwards a bit.
She was trying to avoid anything that might be coming her way before, but now, now it was her time to strike as she made a decision. SHe would lock the Skarmory with another Hypnosis. Afterall, she was the one whom was the biggest threat at that moment.

((Yup, remembered that earlier 20 Hypnosis, lol))
Okay... now it was almost itme, Jasmine watched on... the Yawn would only take effect after this move... they couldn't let Hypnosis work here!!!
"Claudandas, take it!!"
The cat didn't need a second thought in it all, all he needed was to nod, as he would leap forward, making himself the willing target of the Hypnosis, still his fur all a bristle!
And meanwhile, behind him, lest the waves pass over him, Ironclaw suddenly folded her wings, ducking her head underneath, but her shining metal skin had its own reflection, it's own mirror image, she certainly hoped this would make the Gastly fall asleep sooner now!

Though the cat was in front, and the Gastly only saw him .....as the darkness would come. The pokemon would fall asleep ......right in front of Iron claw before she ...herself would drift off as well. Turning into a wisp of smoke she hung in the air ....completely and utterly asleep. She wouldn't open her eyes ...not in the slightest as she hung there ...sleeping.

Now they had it, wavering in the spot of consciousness, a ball of gas hung before them, now it had no defenses, thy had to capitalise on this, before it woke up!
And here, was where Jasmine wanted the Gastly now, as she toyed with a ready pokeball... "Alright, Ironclaw, get your beak in there with a peck... Claudandas, back her up with your Yawns, we need that Gastly still asleep!"

(Yup, double the damage)
The Skarmory would go through ....as the pokemon with it's eyes closed was nothing more than a wisp of smoke. Without the proper concentration, the pokemon would go through her .....as her eyes snapped over at the intrusion. This was getting to be more and more interesting as she would turn around to look at the pokemon with her eyes stretched wide.
It was like for the first time she recognized what was going on. She finally understood what this fight was about as her tongue would hang out of her mouth, and those eyes would glow with power ....as she sent out her tongue in a long and arcing angle.
IT was meant to lap against her back ...as that tongue struck out swiftly.

Suddenly Ironclaw had flown through , somehow missing the ghosts solid mass for all the gas around it, she only realised then as she turned back that she had disturbed the Gastly's slumber!
It was coming at her with a wicked tongue, looking to streak up her back, she grit her beak down and flung her wings wide open, making a sudden airbrake as she flung herself backward, head raised up as she looked to escape up and over the tongue!
She wasn't afraid of damage, but she knew well the spectral powers of a simple lick!
And as she tried to dodge so deftly, it was Claudandas who came to the rescue, bounding forward, he leapt into the air, and span, his jagged tail near aglow with its own pink streaks before he would slice with the tail, looking to cut it short from catching the metal bird instead!

The tongue would actually be sliced in two ...as the cat's paws went through, but the half that was cut didn't stop moving it would still connect against the bird as it would send a shiver down the pokemon's spine as it's true purpose would be clear. A weak attack, but it had a certain special effect as the feeling paraylsis would affect her ....from the pokemon's saliva.
The tongue that had been cut and the tongue that had touched it's target would both disappear then as the Gastly would close her mouth and reopen it to show that it was all together and whole. A bit smirk was on her face.
She wasn't the easiest pokemon to deal with ...when she got serious as she would simply float higher in the air as her form of defense at least from one of the two pokemon.

Away up higher the Gastly would float, but if she thought she was safe and away from both combatants... She was in for a surprise or two!
"Ironclaw, Leer it down, keep your eyes on it!"
The bird had now landed, tucking her wings slowly, painfully to her side, it was like an electric shock that went through her armour, travelled up and down her body... Her beak was st tight.... But her eyes, they fixed in competitive hatred against the ghost type, glowering darkly!
But that was of ourse, only the distraction...
And as the Gastly would have that to contend with, up went those sleepy bubbles from the cat, who could simply Yawn anywhere and have the effect rise up against the ghost!

The Ghost type would feel the yawn as she would yawn as well. Water forming in her eyes, but she would avoid those pecks with an ability that border on uncanny as she would look back down at her. Her eyes though would switch opponents. She was getting tired of that cat's interferences as she would drop her stance as well ...until she was only a few inches from his face.
Her tongue would come out like a snake as he open her mouth wide ....seeking to wrap around him for one moment as that paralyzing inducing saliva would threaten to drop on him.
The Gastly wasn't giving an inch any more.

And them?
The sleep was taking effect so quickly, the Gastly was nearly touching the ground, and it's tongue, with only a half hearted lick was crawling across the ground... And so there the cat sat, parked firmly on his rear, not even trying to dodge, as the tongue struggled to even get close to him...
Then he stuck his own out in insult, sitting aside Ironclaw, waiting for the thing to collapse in sleep!

It would happen then, the Gastly would go to sleep. It's eyes closing as it seem to just hang there for a moment...she was out like a light again. Her attack just didn't have the ump it was suppose to have in it ....as she simply wavier there ....floating upwards and downwards a bit.

[Madame?] Claudandas would bob his head, slipping slowly aside, as the metal bird unsheathed that beak once more with a grin, this time she had to settle on her target, aim just right.... And launch her Peck attack when the moment was fit.
Claudandas would back her up still with a stream of Yawning bubbles to try and keep the Gastly under, but she was the one with the job to land a blow on this Gastly, and it could only be her that did it!
