"Bored...." he carved a monster on the desk, he hummed quietly to himself.
He turned to Saya, a smile on his face, "Look at what i drew!"

She glanced down at the monster he had carved onto the desk.
What was with Marshal and vandalizing; doodling on whatever was close by?
"Uh, that's nice," she said, glancing from Marshal to the front of the classroom, trying to pay attention to the lesson.

Marshal stopped carving the monster, taking out a book that Marshal kept only to himself.
The book had nothing on the cover or the back, it contained things Marshal only knew.
"What are we doing anyways?" he whispered to Saya, he never paid attention to class but surprisingly he knew a lot.
Marshal began to carve on the cover of the book with his finger, he was carving on the cover of the book very slowly.
What are you doing? he focused on the cover of the book, never looking up to listen to the lesson.

"Umm, learning about how to find the opponent's blind spot?" Saya whispered, not really taking much notice of what Marshal was doing.
Unlike her partner, she was actually listening to what the teacher was teaching them.
That was how she was, a good student, most of the time.
It was only when the teacher was done explaining and left them to have independent study time, that Saya turned to look at what Marshal was doing.
"...What the.....???!" she said, curious, "what are you carving?"

Marshal had finally finished carving on his book, he should it to her, holding onto the book so she wouldn't look inside it.
"It's a skull!" he grinned, the carving was of a skull
Marshal stopped carving and tried to study but he couldn't stay focused.
"Sorry....I should try to listen to the teacher...."

Saya was a bit impressed by the carving of a skull that Marshal had made.
Not that she let that show on her face.
"Don't waste time doing random things..." she said instead, pulling the book away from him a bit.

Marshal tried to stop her from taking his book, "HEY!" he was loud enough to get almost everyone to look towards their direction.
He hid himself seeing that a few were staring, "Sorry Saya..."
Marshal tried to study again, this time he didn't lose his focus that easily, but he continued to look at Saya.

Saya raised an eyebrow, surprised to see that Marshal was agitated.
"What's wrong?" she said with a playful smirk, holding the book just out of his reach.
It wasn't everyday that she could be the one to annoy Marshal rather than vice versa."Did you write something important in here or something?"
She made a show of thumbing through the pages of his book, while pretending not to notice the stares.

Marshal whined as he tried to get his book back, only Marshal and Timmy knew what was in it.
Let her read your diary Marshal....it'll be fun Marshal gave up and sighed.
"It's not a diary, Timmy...." Timmy never really cared what Marshal wrote about on the book.
"What little sanity I have left is in that book," he pointed at the book with his blade arm.
His blade arm clicked, "I'll blast it to pieces and I'll lose all of it...." he never liked sharing what was in the book.

She frowned slightly and looked at Marshal pointedly as he pointed his blade arm at the book.
"What, you're not going to go through all the trouble of shooting this book, are you?" she said with a bit of a laugh, "what's so important that you won't let anyone see?~"
At first she had just wanted to annoy him for a bit and then give him his book back, but now her interest was piqued and she actually kind of wanted to know what he had written in the book.
Saya held the book behind her back to prevent Marshal from shooting at it. "Oh come on, just tell me!"

Marshal jerked his bladed arm to the left and fired, it missed Saya's arm by an inch, he laughed as smoke came out of his arm.
"Strike one....You're right....Someone can get hurt, but it'll be you or me..." A grin formed on his face.
You're crazy! Stop that you'll kill her! Marshal turned to face the air, "My point exactly...."
Marshal's arm clicked, he jerked his arm to the right and fired, the bullet flew pass Saya's hair, almost hitting her ear.
He laughed again, "Strike Two..." he did not look at her when he fired both shots, his arm clicked again.
You don't need that book anymore Marshal turned around to face Saya, "Shut up Timmy, You know that book keeps me sane...It's the only thing that keeps me sane!!!"
Is it?...Is it Marshal?....What's keeping you sane isn't that book anymore....what's keeping you sane is so close, yet so far
Marshal fired again, "Stop with those stupid riddles," he spoke calmly, the third shot flew over her head not even close to hitting her, "Strike Three....I'm out..."

Saya froze in shock when Marshal fired, mind blanking out.
She sucked in a breath and then sighed, letting it out slowly.
For some reason, she wasn't particularly afraid, despite essentially being at the barrel of a gun.
The other people in the class had all ducked down after the first shot and most of those with partners had their weapons transformed while others had went out to get a teacher.
"Marshal," Saya hissed, flushing red, "what are you trying to do??! How can this book," she waved the book in the air to make a point, "have anything to do with keeping you sane?!!"
She looked at him crossly and put a hand on his blade arm.
"Stop that! What do you mean you're out?!! Stop saying things I don't understand!!!" Saya said and then moved his arm so that it was pointed directly at her chest.
She kept a calm face although her hand was trembling a bit. "If you were really going to shoot me, just do it already. I know you have better aim than that. SHOOT ME."

Marshal was surprised at what she just did, he looked up at her, Don't do it...Don't do it!! he grinned.
"Then I won't miss this time...." Marshal malicious laughed filled the room, his arm clicked again and it quickly switched places with his other arm before he fired.
A loud crackling sound echoed in the room, he fired a strong shot but it fired out of his other arm and into the wall.
His fist was pointed at her chest instead of his blade arm, the blade arm that did fire returned to its normal form.
"I'm sorry.....I've made such a painful day for you...." he sat back down at his seat, "I'm sorry..." he repeated himself.
Good...you didn't hurt anyone Marshal stared blankly at the chalkboard, he didn't bother to glare at the students who stared at him and he didn't even look up at Saya.
"I'm sorry" he muttered, apologizing quietly, continuously repeating himself.
