She had never seen her face, but Dev knew the voice. Her head cocked at the sound of Medea speaking. The cu sith hummed thoughtfully as she dutifully listened to the priestess. Help. That sounded reassuring. “Help is guid,” she murmured as Medea’s voice began to fade away, somehow taking Dev’s pain and aches from injuries incurred prior. She only just barely heard Fallow, but she nodded her head anyways. Dev ran behind him until they reached a familiar redhead. She snapped her jaws in front of the hunter’s face. “Ah dornt appreciate ye hurtin’ mah friends.”

Hel groaned and rubbed her face again. Oh dear Jack, she was so delusional. The reaper felt it was her life mission to stay here now and make sure she didn’t get captured by a Hunter and weaponized. … Wait. How was that a bad thing? Sabine would be gone and the Hunter that would use her would probably kill his or herself after 10 minutes tops… “ Oh, you will write about it in your blog, huh? I am sure your mother would love to hear all about it.”

Spotting Xiu join them, Shun frowned as he watched his little sister take a few lashes of the whip. He had backed away from H for the moment to hopefully be out of the range of the whip for now. There was a subtle grim expression upon his face as she asked if they were alright, but stopped when she had looked at Mitsu. "Excuse...Excuse me!?!?" Amphi squeaked again before narrowing her eyes. "Are you casting a spell on me human? What is this this thong you speak of-" She paused before adding, "And what is a Nipslip? what about my clothing!?!?" She continued to stare at Clerise like she was spouting something foreign to her, ignoring that she knew...or felt that Thana was probably behind her wondering why she was defending him....It's the thought that counts Thana! THE THOUGHT!!!
"Why are we talking about my clothing! What does this have to do with-" Amphi jumped as she felt Thana's hand and moved back. Biskoto wrapped around her, warming her as she continued to stare at the female.

All the division leaders, standing before them .. Saya was in awe, as well as many other hunters. It was a sight that she had never (and might never again) see so she almost seemed to be taking a mental picture of it. The moon and sun division leaders (the temporary female one) was amazing, Saya didn't know where to even start.
Alan's flashy sword movements .. How did he get those light effects. Saya wondered as she tipped her head curiously. But as she took a moment to admire, she realized, that moment could be well used for a different task. Time to get to work.
"Flirting with the other side might be counterproductive." Saya came up from behind Ryan and Dakota, her hands already unwrapping bandages from her small pack. Saya's weapon was ready, hanging from her waist but she was a moon. Marcus had told her, that her priority was to heal, so she regarded that as first and foremost. She didn't know Dakota or Ryan well, if at all, except only in passing. But a hunter down wasn't what Saya wanted to see.
Saya didn't see why Dakota flirted with halloween students when hunters were just as attractive.
(Like Simon and Allan.
Although Dakota might not lean that way.)

Michael lifted an eyebrow curiously as the reaper seemed to mentally step out for a few moments. Shehk just nodded to Sammy, but said nothing even as the pair seemed pretty dead set on remaining there and protecting Riley as she was then. She'd come back, right? THey just had to keep her in one piece.
Cricket could fix this.
And then one of the hunters seemed to notice them, and Shehk half growled. In all honesty, she was hoping that this hunter would just back off. But, it didn't like it would happen anytime soon. This was just like the previous battle with Sherry. Maybe worse. One more rake of the claws and Aymet jumped back regrouping a safe distance away. It didn't stop the whip from cutting across his bones as he escaped. He gave his bones a quick check. This time, the Hunter's whip got in the way before she could land a solid hit; like Aymet she had been quite roughed up in retaliation, some rather harsh lacerations sprouting, reopening even more old stitches.
She retreated as fast as he did, not even bothering to check the extent of the damage the body had taken. It had taken worse before, she was pretty sure she'd be fine...even if there was some wriggling vines poking curiously out of the new wounds.
"Yeah yeah, I'm fine." She assured him, waving a hand in dismissal. "Are you okay?" Clearly, she was more worried about him, always. His compliment made her grin, the battle a welcome distraction from the ugly truth of the statue she had her back towards. "And...not so bad yourself."

The black dog spotted him. Deryk might have made a little squeak of some sorts, freezing on the spot. At least he had this barrier to protect him in the meantime, but that didn't stop him from being nervous.
