Fear began to grip Deric tighter then any chains could as he looked around at the shadows. He held on to Lilith, not trusting anything else and trying to protect her if he could.

Lilith's shadows started taking the forms of horribel monsters.

Deric's eyes widened as he saw the shadow monsters, and held on tighter to Lilith, trying to wake her as gently as he could.

Lilith's eyes shot open and they were glowing red at first but then they went back to normal as the shadows disappeared.
....but we are different people.

Though the shadows disappeared, Deric was still holding on to Lilith, putting his head on her chest as he shook, trying to not cry from fear.

Lilith noticed him for the first time. "I am so sorry." She said wrapping her arms around him. "I didn't mean to scare you." She said sadly.

Deric swallowed his fear, and stopped shaking, and held her. He didn't push her away but he did give her a light kiss on the cheek.

Lilith blushed. "I have nightmares often." She sad still a little sad. "But the feel real." She said looking into his eyes.

There was no way to hide the fear in Deric's eyes, as he looked back to her. At the same time, there was no way to show the passion, love, and desire for her and the rest of them. His tail wrapped around her gently as he held her and gave a weak smile.

Lilith started to cry. The dreams where replaying through her head. She now looked like a child who was upset. "I'm sorry." She kept whispering over ad over as she laid down curling in on herself.

Feeling bad, Deric moved to her side and began to try and sit her up. When he did, he kissed her on her lips, trying to bring her out of the depression and fear.
