Jerry swung his cannon around, eyes wild, ready to destroy, when suddenly there was a torrent of icy cold water.
He blinked, brows furrowed. That had been unexpected.
And now he was soaking wet. His shot went wildly up into the air, uselessly. Fantastic.

Shivering, cold, disgruntled, annoyed, Jerry didn't... dissociate... as much as did a very good job of *feeling his feelings*, not internalizing them in festering fashions, and turned them around in a productive way.
I.E. He howled as he fired wildly with the bazooka in almost every direction, not hitting any fellow hunters out of sheer luck.

Unfortunately, that enthusiasm suddenly went veering towards the lack of ceiling. It would have been fabulous if their attacks were coming from above. But they weren't. Roar was happy about a nice expulsion of Fear, but Jerry's lack of control only frustrated him further with a wild yell.
Fall back, Roar found himself saying, and hating it, our shield's at half capacity. No need to be scraping *you* off the floor, alright? Something bigger might be coming... You need more moony friends, man.

To say that Ofelia had been distracted would have been fair. Her stomach rumbled with thoughts if eating pizza and when the chocolate smell invaded she sort of wished it was still pizza. The teen liked to bake and all but straight on chocolate wasn't her thing.
Creatures shaped like chocolate that were attacking also weren't her thing but she wasn't going to complain too loudly. Instead she knocked her hands together and struck a pose, ready to take down anything coming her way. A strong hit or two provided fun contact but she was hit in the process. Smelling like chocolate wasn't pleasant.

Before really could have used some water right about now, but it seems like the more he killed (which wasn't amounting to much), the harder it became for him to clear the chocolate gunk from his face. xAx

Too much ew ew and not enough pew pew. Ofelia was getting covered in the nasty chocolate with each swing if her fists but at the very least she was taking down the creatures. Her time doing Shadow Run seemed to be paying off somewhat, even if she was getting all kinds of gross dirty.
Rue demanded that when this was done she be cleaned like a god.god

Really Ofelia only kept punching because it was fun and she didn't want to stop. Venting her unhappiness and lack of sleep in chocolate monsters was a pretty good idea and she was having a good time doing so. In the back of her mind Rue was saying it was time to release.
Considering Ofelia was getting mobbed she was inclined to agree.

The pair tore through the creatures like tissue paper. Disgustin chocolate tissue paper that coated every single bit if Ofelia and Rue, rendering them brown and smelly. Ofelia didn't mind as much as Rural did but now for certain she wanted a bath.
Maybe one with bubbles.

Sydney wasn't sure what they were, but she grabbed Izy (whose glowing was a nice way to find him) and started shooting the slimy things. And missing. Definitely missing. She still hadn't gotten her breath back, okay?

The leaking pipes mercifully didn't hit him, but they are least spurred him to try again.

And Sydney decided that she was going to start learning to aim lower. It was an interesting concept, aiming low, but there were things to hit that were low. Like slimy things that came from the fridge.
Okay, she was mentally starting to think division leaders other than Aria were INSANE. Next time she saw Aria she swore she would give her a gift or something. Oh, that was better, she thought as she sniped six of them.

Maybe if they stopped destroying the kitchen and started fixing it up she could bake cookies or something, she thought, trying not to picture the slimy guys as cookie dough. The pizza, she thought, feeling close to tears all of a sudden.
"I just wanted a piece of PIZZA," she whispered, shooting some more. Just a single piece of pizza!! But it was ruined now!
