"Yea, I think Lian really likes him." He said with a smile, "Plus, I want her to help him feel better and I'm sure she does too." He chuckled when d**k asked if he could sleep over too, "Course, you get to help me watch those little brats. Since it's friday my little brat will probably stay up late watching Disney movies though, so no 'fun' sadly." He said with a sigh. "I see what they mean when they say kids kill your sex life." He whispered, pouting a bit.

Lian looked over at her dad then at Damian, "Could you?" She asked, "Don't you have school?" She asked curiously, she thought everyone went to school.

Roy smiled and kissed d**k back, enjoying the kiss while it lasted before pulling back and saying, "I'm just glad to have you back in my arms." He kissed d**k again, not as deeply though and said, "Let's get these kids to my house now and we can all cuddle and watch Bambi or something." That was Lian's favorite movie. "Hey Damian, Lian, we got something to tell you." He said, waving the two over.

Lian smiled when Damian said he already had a college degree, "Wow! You're so cool Damian." She said before blushing when he kissed her and said he'd protect her. "Thank you Damian." She nuzzled into his shoulder and said, "And I got your back too." She promised before perking as her dad called. "Oh no, I don't want to go home yet." She pouted, taking Damian's hand and squeezing it tight before walking over to the adults. "What daddy?"

"Damian, how would you like to spend the night with me and Lian? d**k will be coming too." He asked, smiling down at the boy, he didn't miss how Lian's eyes lit up.

Roy laughed at Damian, Lian had a lot to teach him. When d**k spelt out dress he wanted to warn the man but Lian cut him off.

"I can spell really well Papa Grayson." she said in a matter-o-fact tone. "You got me a dress?" She asked, looking at her papa.

"Yes, thanks d**k." He said, grinning at the man. "It reminded me of my old speedy out fit, I thought you'd like it." He said, smiling down at Lian.

"Oh yay!" Lian said excitedly. "Can I get a speed outfit too?" She asked, she always brought it up whenever she could.

"No." Roy said shortly, "Not till you're older." He tacked on before pulling out his keys. "Now, let's go." he said, not wanting to hear Lian whine.

"But daddy! I already know how to shoot and I jump really high and--"

"No!" Roy shouted causing Lian to flinch back. "No...it's for your own safety Lian." He said, patting her head. She only glared and looked away, Roy sighed.

Lian blinked when Damian spoke then frowned instead of smiling, "You've helped Papa Grayson? You're only a little older then me." She looked at her dad. "He's only a little older daddy!" She protested.

Roy turned abruptly and pointed his finger at her face, she gasped and stepped back "If this was my gun, what would you do?" He asked sharply.

Lian froze, looking at his finger pointed at her nose, she then looked up and said in a soft tone, "I--I don't know."

"Exactly, take the training from Damian but don't beg me to join when you aren't prepared." He snapped before softening and kissing her forehead. "I just want to keep you safe.

Lian sighed, she knew her dad was right. She turned back to Damian, "Please train me." She asked, wanting to get better.

Lian smiled at Damian then looked up at d**k, she listened acutely as he spoke then looked at Damian. "You teach me to be a fighter and I'll teach you to be a kid." She said, smiling brightly. "It may not sound like a fair trade but trust me being a kid is really great too!" She said hugging his arm then tugging him towards the car. "Now, sleepover!" She was excited.

Roy looked at d**k and said, "I had to scare her, she wouldn't listen otherwise, she has both mine and Cheshire's stubbornness." He said sternly, "I was going to pull my gun for real but--she doesn't need that." He said, watching her go. "I'm not always the perfect parent, but I do believe I know the boundary before scaring and scarring." He looked back at d**k and said, "Thanks for explaining it the way I couldn't." He smiled and said, "you really are my better half."

Lian's eyes lit up at the lightsaber and said, "OMG you don't know the magic behind these Damian! Daddy, can we watch the Starwars movies so Damian can understand the magic?" She asked her eyes alight.

"Omg kid have you not seen Starwars?" Roy asked, looking back at Damian. "Has he not seen Starwars?" He asked again, looking at d**k. "Oh god, that's not allowed. Quick! To the Starwars cave!" He joked, making fun of the old Batman comics inspired by d**k and Bruce back in the days. He revved the engine then pulled out and headed for his house.

Lian giggled and looked at Damian, "Don't worry we'll "edumacate" you, as my daddy said to me."

Roy picked up Lian and Damian then rushed into the house, ignoring any protest the boy may have about being picked up. "Not a second to lose!" Roy exclaimed, Lian shrieked with laughter. Roy deposited both kids onto the couch then ran over and grabbed the star wars movies. "Quick d**k! Put the movies in! I'll get the snacks!" With that said Roy rushed into the kitchen and made popcorn, got some stashed candy, and sodas.

Roy came back, arms full and sat beside Damian who was beside Lian. He pat the spot next to him for d**k then looked at Lian. "You excited baby?" He asked, a smile on his face.

"Yes I am daddy!" She said, also excited. "You're going to love this Damian, Star Wars is awesome!" She smiled and sat down, stealing the bowl of candy from her daddy and putting it between her and Damian. She began munching and waited for the movie to start. She sang along to the opening credits--it was going to be a long night with both her and her daddy quoting parts of the movie.
