Sizarin lifted his sleeve to his nose to keep the smoke out. Looking towards Asizue he nods and she flaps her wings making he smoke go back to the caterpillar. Sizarin streightens up and states, "I am not one for storylines." He walked over to the key and picked it up.
"Now what do we have here?" Asizue asks walking over to him, glancing at Alice.
Verlorenes chuckles. "So she's your sister." She looked around the room they were in. "This is but a learning facility to teach 'things' stories, am I correct?" she asked offhandedly, fooling around with the flute straped to her belt.

The catepillar did not seem to mind in the least. "Whooo are youuuu?" he asks, continuing to smoke and taking no notice of anything around him really.
Alice remains standing where she is, her eyes closed. There is the occasional ticking sound but no other sound or movement comes from her.
Ens turns to the woman. "I am not a thing." she snaps. She then turns to the monitors. "And yes. In a way it was but it didn't help any. That foolish old man didn't understand that this is no way to teach us about life." she presses a few buttons and the catepillar tosses the smoke away just to pick up another. "I hardly consider that doll a sister. She's so unlike me in every way...she can't even do anything if no one winds her up when she wakes. Master complete failer there."

"What happened to Alice?" Asizue asked, walking away from Sizarin who was examining the key, to her. "She isn't moving..."
"When we first met her wasn't she wound up?" Sizarin said glancing at the caterpillar for a moment, then he walked up to them.
Verlorenes sighed. "You are a thing, a copy of wat is human, but if you wish I will not get into that." She watched Ens push a few buttons then said. "Behind every story in the world there is a hidden meaning..." She paised and took off her hat to examine it nonchalantly. "Doll or not, it is her differences and defaults that make you sisters." Verlornes put the hat back on her head and started to look at her hands as if she never saw them before and mumbled more to herself. "These bodies die too easily..."

The caterpillar eyes them and then completely ignores them. The rings of spoke he blows now look like keys. "Wind..." he says non-chalantly
Ens turns to the woman. "Only those related by blood are sisters. She has no blood. She is made of the finest doll crafting material. What I want is to be able to say with certainty that we are not sisters." she looks at the screen again. "And he is going to help me."

"Wind? Wind where..." Asizue asked. Sizarin was walking around Alice looking for a spot.
Verlorenes gave a cold laugh. "You say those only related by blood are sisters? You are very much mistaken, for you see, it is the one that makes you that tells you who is your sister, it is the parts inside of you that is your blood. Wind up dolls, to those with string, wood, mechanisms... They all lead to your relations." Her last line echoed it seemed around the control room and she fell silent.

The caterpillar looks at them. "Wind." he states clearly as though talking to a child. There is a small hole in the upper part of the back of Alices dress.
Ens looks at the screens and frowns, not just because of her comment. "What is that stupid caterpillar doing?" she pushes a few buttons and sound enters the room just in time to catch the last word the caterpillar said. "Is he helping them?" she smashes her fist into the console before her and the caterpillar disappears.

"Ok..." Sizarin kneels down and puts the key into the hole above Alice's back and starts to turn it.
"I think the caterpillar angerd Ens." Asizue said keeping a lookout.
Verlorenes watched with a cold smile on her face. "Quos ab dignus effectrix acquiro adiuvo inde insperatus inibi..." She states as though it was obvious.
(Erm should I put the latin translations up? My latin is a little rusty so I'm not exactly sure it is the right thing.)
(Anyway: "Quos ab dignus effectrix acquiro adiuvo inde insperatus inibi..." Those of a worthy cause get help from unexpected places.)

There is a soft music that eminates from Alice as he turns the key and slowly, like dancing to the very music within her, her head lifts up and just as the music stops her eyes snap open. Turning, she stares at them a second. "I hate when that happens. I'm sorry. I should have realized sooner and warned you." she reaches behind her, grabbing the key and putting in her pocket.
Ens turns to her. "She is not worthy of any help." she smiles. "I can't wait till they get to the tea party. I have a surprise for Alice. It is her birthday after all." she turns back to the monitors with a strangely warm smile on her lips.

"Ok so we need to wind you up whenever that happens." Asizue shrugged.
"Don't worry about it. We should press on, I think Ens was angered by the caterpillar helping us." Sizarin said looking around.
"It appears that she is. So are the others that are with her." Verlorenes sighed. "You see if they are actually good of heart, you will be surprised of how many will help them." She looked to the monitors. "Even at the cost of themselves."

Alice watches them and nods. "Agreed. Strange to think the caterpillar would help up like this. But this does go along the story line so we are alright there." She moves forward.
Ens pauses. "Are you saying that they are kind hearted?" she grins. "Ah, how sweet. But Alice is not. She's been through this game many times with this never happening. If the characters do help them, it is not because of little Alice." she looks at Verelornes. "You seem to be spouting some pretty words."

"You are right there... This seems to not be going as Ens had planned for us before." Sizarin said almost happy. "Though I doubt the other characters in her will be as helpful.." He though for a moment. "The Cashire cat only speaks in riddles, and the queen of hearts will just try to kill us all anyway." He shrugged.
"Well, aren't you in the cheeriest of moods Sizarin." Asizue said as he started to move with Alice and she folowed.
"Maybe, but it may seem that the characters here have gotten tired of seeing Alice.. Maybe they had rather you were there." Verlorenes looked down to Ens. "Pretty words? I merely state that of practicallity..." She leaned on the wall and yawned. "I don't seem to have gotten your name..." She thought for a moment with her eyes closed then asked. "Is it Ens?"

"Did someone call for me?" can a rasping voice as a large cat appeared grinning in the path before them. Alice then rolled her eyes but said nothing in response to him.
Ens glares at the woman. "I am Ens, yes." she said. "But I don't think that is the case. None of the characters can think, except for the Cheshire-cat. They are only programed to do what they do." She gets out of her chair and moves a few feet and a table appears before her with a teapot and a few cups. "Care for some tea?" she asks, pouring herself a cup.

Sizarin grinned at the voice, looked to Asizue who was giving him a death glare, and stopped. "Erm.. Yes I suppose we did..."
Verlorenes shrugged. "Perhaps they can. That is if you made them you should know everything that they can do... Perhaps until now they were all going along with the story-line." She eyed the teapot and said. "I don't drink... tea."

"Did what?" asks the cheshire-cat.
"No one drinks tea these days." she puts her cup down without taking a sip. "I would agree with you. However what else is there for these creations to do but the story. They don't have a life, no consciousness of the outside world. All they know is the story." she turns to the woman. "Why do you want him...that boy?" she asks about Sizarin. "Some long lost love gone wrong?"

"Here we go.." Asizue said rolling her eyes.
Verlorenes couldn't help but snicker. "Love? I have no need for such an emotion." She watched Ens and said. "I'll just say it's unfinished busness." She cracked her neck and fiddled with one of the rings on her finger as if to pass off the subject of love and sighed. "Yes, I drink tea, just not with somenoe I don't trust. As for the characters, perhaps they have gotten tired of folowing such a story."
