He really wasn't sure what happened. Maybe his player the universe just got bored and decided that he needed to meet more people, which was how he found himself at table 2, stroking the huge snake nested on his shoulder while looking around for someone who might look like a 'Freya'.

He would not find anyone who looked like Freya unless he was familiar with Viking lore, but he would find a hurricane blowing in as Freya flopped down in the only available seat open at the moment, and huffed in excitement. Look, there was Shun in the next table meeting a brand new student! She gave Shun a cheeky wave, before turning her attentions to Thanatos.

Unf.

Freya smiled hesitantly, before holding her hand out. "Hallo, friend. I am Freya, and yehr Thanatos, I hopes?"

"Some bozo tried t'make a fool outta' me," He grunted, mopping himself up as best he could, although his cheek was still stained green. "Hope you've been havin' a good time at least?" He snorted, tossing the pile of soiled rag-chain onto the table. Damn, these pockets were deep... what else was in there? He kept digging. "Stayin' out of trouble, I trust? Not you tho, huh, cat?" He gave him a wink, "Get any good neckin' done?" He pulled his hand out again.

Was that... a rabbit? He glowered and sat it on the table as well before diving in again.

Ohhh, interesting accent.

"And Freya, I presume?" He grinned, standing from his seat to greet the ghoul, taking her hand and pressing a chaste kiss on her knuckles, "Pleasure to finally meet you. Ah, this is-"

"Bisssskoto!" The snake had made her way down his arm, hovering near Freya's hand as her tongue flicked in and out, taking in the new scents on the ghoul. Tilting her head, she looked up at her, "Pleassssed to make your acquaintance, darling!"

With the introductions out of the way, he let go of her hand, although it brought her attention to something else - the pair of wings on her back. Coupled with the fact that she used 'friend' in her greeting? It was too early for assumptions, but he had to ask, "Are you related to a Valkyrie by the name of Hel, by any chance?"

"Belonged to th'guy what mugged me," He huffed, pulling out a deck of cards and looking pleased about it. Those, he tucked into his own coat pocket, shifting the stolen trench onto the table to keep digging, "Figure it's only fair I get some sorta' payment for the inconvenience. Did you know clowns squeak when you sock 'em?"

Staring was rude so, so rude, Shine kept telling herself, but it was hard to tear her gaze away. She'd worn out the question of asking what it was like to have things that she envied, but it didn't keep her from inwardly turning green with jealousy.

"It...must, um...just come naturally...like another...natural ability." That was the best explanation she could come up with to describe such an incredible level of awesome. Realizing that she was still awkwardly standing and staring, she slid into the chair and stared down at the tablecloth for a moment, sufficiently solving both problems at once. "I...yes, first year. I'm not...very good...with my classes just yet. What about...what about you? Are...you good at them?"

She glanced back up at Danny so she wouldn't think that the tabecloth was more interesting. It was a nice tablecloth, but it didn't have horns and wings, so...

Danny smiled. She remembered first year classes, those were hard! Actually ... all classes were sort of hard. There was no easy path for the stupid; if you didn't get it, you didn't get it!

"Errr ... No. I'm uh- Not very smart," she said, leaving it at that. Rikki's voice saying stupid echoed in her mind, though she didn't let on that anything was bothering her.

In nervous habit, Danny pulled one of Yin's rings out of her pocket and started playing with it unconsciously. "So uhhh. What about you? Are classes hard?" Well that was a stupid question to ask back. The rumor was true; Danny was horrible with ghouls.
