Opening his eyes wide then swiveling his head side to side as if someone had tapped him on the shoulder, Quint laughed huskily, not even close to threatened. It's been way too long since a woman has given me a formal challenge, so not recently, no. Then he took a couple steps back, making sure his rising arrogant words wouldn't be countered by a spinning back-fist. Man, woman, beast, I've lost fights to all three decisively before, but don't think just because you're two out of three right now means you've got a better shot.

yurikos ears pricked up at the sound of a fight, spinning on her heel to look quint the eye " am i hearing, that there is to be a fight?" her eyes glinting dangerously " because if so....i want in" she smiled

Hopefully, depending on what we get from the missus here. Quint replied, smiling in what seemed to be confidence. So after I finish with Rioushu. He took a second to look at Yuriko now, explaining why he wouldn't fight with them both. Three-ways get hectic, fast, and while it won't happen a lot, you'll be blindsided. All it takes is a single targeted kick to the knee to incapacitate. Training for that helps, but one can never overlook..chaos.

Gatz suddenly unfroze from his posistion on the floor and stood bolt upright, stiffly swaying back and forth as he came to attention.
"You rang?" he asked Quint with a grin.

Caliber jumps a little not noticing Gatz there at all."How long have you been here exactly? Or did you just here the word chaos and just appeared here?" Not really knowing the extent of his powers. Looking around at everyone else. Seems like everyone can fight with confidence except for me. But Im so out of shape. Looking over at Yuriko wondering how much it would take to get close to her level of endurance.

Startled, Quint felt his heart jump a few beats, but he gathered himself quickly enough to say, Actually, yea, I sorta did. Since Rioushu seemed to be taking her sweet time, Quint now turned to the resident timeless being, again speaking with enthusiasm, But seriously, we have unsettled matters, this whole incident reminds me. For some reason, Quint wouldn't say out loud what the issue was, leaning back on the counter to have Gatz right behind him, and Rioushu dead center.

"A little of column A, less of column B, and a smidge of column I-cup," Gatz replied to Caliber with a smile, pointing a thumb over at their friend's bust. "I've been running the till here because the owner ran off once Roan showed up, and the rack-catular sight of Rioushu KO'd my motor control for a moment."
"Now, as for 'unsettled matters'..." The entity leaned forward and rested his elbows on the counter next to Quint. "... Would that happen to be code for 'uber-powerful daemoness-vampire who has set up shop on our front lawn?'"

Now that you mention it.. Gatz had guessed wrong, but Quint used the opportunity to iron out one small detail about the Cainite conquerer, Her reign here is little more than usage of our resources at no expense. I've seen her home base; it's nothing short of a fortress. Smoothing his head forward with an idle hand, There was enough people, firepower, and overwhelming Anti Air artillery to extinguish any emergency I could think up..short of a nuclear assault, but then she'd just come out to handle it herself.
Roan's harmless, it seems, until you have something she wants, or are in the way. Though Quint wanted to keep his secret message a secret, time was of the essence, as Rioushu wouldn't adore the statements he had made earlier, and was still probably struck stone with despair after the lashing from Quint. You remember...the promise...couple months back..

Though he was red in the face, Quint found what he wanted to say quickly. No, I didn't mean like a 'date date'..! There are still quite a few things I'm unsure about with history, and I was thinking that since you've been around forever, I could ask you for your take.
If I wanted a real date, I sure as hell wouldn't have asked you here..

Rioushu yawned as she watched the two guys talked on and on about nothing. She decided to finally respond to Quint, he seemed to really want a fight. "You'll have to wait on that fight, I'm kinda busy with Bleu right now. Besides, it seems you have a fun night with Gatz still in store." She joked, turning to Bleu. "I'm done here, let's buy this crap and get out of here."

Figures..always with the shopping. Quint muttered, looking down a little to conceal his mouth. Could have sworn you were soo eager to put that whoopin on me too.. It sounded like he was pouting, and he was. But whatever, if she didn't want to fight, there was already someone lined up, Quint taking Rioushu as calm, walking past her to Yuriko, taking a small glance at the cleavage that was nearly guaranteed to stay there. Since the lady here didn't feel like going, you still do, right? He smiled again, but it was more polite than anything.

From across the room, it was easy to catch Gatz' words, Quint giving thumbs up in approval. I never really expect to hear what I want when the truth is asked of someone, so I look forward to having an unforced spit-take. Damn, if someone were to ask, he'd say he felt cool. Not cool in the 'hey-baby-what's-up-i'm-the-fonz' cool, but calm and relaxed.
