Severin entered the classroom. He glanced to find only Veith in his seat. His loyal little student as usual and then the flood comes in afterwards.

"After class, I'd like to see how strong your fire power is." Severin said to Veith. "I think some extra practice will do you good." After all, it was up to Veith and Severin to burn up the baby to a crisp. Severin sighed. This godchild of his. He'll just pretend that he was never appointed godfather and everything will all be rainbows and sunshine.

Severin made his way to his desk to prepare class. Today was going to be another useless lesson. He took his notes and looked over them.

”Hey, I know a joke!
A squirrel walks up to a tree and says,

Late. He was going to be late again, and it was all because of this extra burden that he ended up having to drag with him. Okay, that wasn't really nice to say. After all, it wasn't Xochi's fault that she sprained her ankle and was just left outside her dorm like some potato. Seriously, what kind of person would just leave her out there? That's why it was up to him to do something nice like volunteer to give her a hand more like a piggyback ride around. He really should have taken her to the infirmary, but Morgan didn't exactly have enough time. He had class too! Thankfully, Xochi had the same class as him, so everything would be good. He'd have to make sure to take her there later on though.

And so, his thought process involved mainly "RUNRUNDON'TDROPHERRUNCLASSNOW", and it did help motivate him to make it to class in time. Hopefully? In between pants and gingerly helping Xochi get into a seat, Morgan wearily waved and grinned. "H-Hey. Did we miss anything?"

It was getting harder and harder to understand the Goddess' will lately.. Really, Xochiquetzal had thought that she wanted her to fast and contemplate her relationship with her fiance, but then she had sent Morgan out to help her off to class! She was wondering if perhaps the Goddess had simply wanted her to be in pain rather than paralyze her for meditative purposes..? In that case, then she should have walked to her classroom instead. But, it would hurt and she didn't like that – besides, the Goddess wouldn't have presented her the option to ride the boy if she had wanted her to walk! Unless it was a test? Ahh.. She would need to speak to her guides later to figure this out.

Speaking of which, Veith had arrived to class that day! She glanced at him as she was set down at her desk, but then Morgan spoke and her attention went there. “...I don't believe it matters..” Obviously, if it was important, they would have been there to hear it! “..I appreciate your dedication. Now, you may rest.” She shooed him away and turned back to the teacher carefully, ignoring any irritation her ankle brought her.

Veith glanced up when the teacher addressed him. He gave a nod and was about to reply but Morgan came in... carrying Purple! Veith frowned. What was this? He wasn't quite sure. Well, he probably shouldn't ask. He wondered what was up with people and extravagance around the school. There was not one normal day, was there? Actually, Veith was dealing with a school full of all kinds of creatures. He wouldn't be surprise if talking poop became a valid race. He needed to get used to these extravagant people showing up.

"Good morning..." Veith said. He was about to add their names, but he realized that he didn't really know Purple's name by heart yet so he held off on adding the names and his lips twitched to attempt to smile, but he was not very good at smiling so his lips just twitched in a fail attempt to smile.

He will not comment on Purple's words to Morgan too. Veith probably just didn't want to know.

Yes. These three students were the most consistent of all the students in his class. He decided he liked these kids. "Good morning everyone. Now take your seats. Class will begin." Severin said as he waved to the chairs.

"Today's lesson will be air manipulation. It's not very strong. It's only useful... uh... when your rubber ducky in the bathtub won't float and you need to add a miniscule bit of air into it. And that's what we're practicing with too." Severin said with a slightly amused grin.

He pulled out a small pool and drew a magic circle, inflating it with his air magic. With another magic circle, he filled it with water and then dropped rubber ducks without air in them so they could sink to the bottom.

He wrote the magic words on the board and repeated them twice for the students. "When using magic, you can't do it half-heartedly. You have put in some of your energy into it." Severin added.

He showed them how it worked and a lone rubber ducky burst into the surface and floated. "Now then? Shall you give Twinkle--the only floating duck--a friend?"

"I'm here!" Tshila said, bounding into class. She'd left Eros in the doctor's capable hands and was...kind of in time for class. "Sorry for being late. I was seeing a friend of mine into the infirmary! He was hurt pretty badly but the doctor's patching him up and all that. Anyway, yeah. Totally sorry for the lateness."

She slid into her desk and grinned at Severin. "But this is my favorite class so I wanted to try to make it for at least most of it if I could. Um, sorry I missed the explanation. I'll just watch the others and see what we're doing! Save you the trouble of explaining it again."

...Inflating rubber duckies.. It seemed to be an odd thing to learn, but she supposed it could have its uses. Xochiquetzal wasn't very against the idea and considering how bored sitting outside had made her, she decided that it wouldn't hurt to try to enjoy the lesson some. She paid attention halfheartedly as the teacher informed them how inflation would work, watching with mild entertainment when Twinkle floated to the top. ..It worked..! Ah, she would very much like to try this! She wasn't sure how well it would work from where she was, though she could see the duckies just fine. She focused on one of the ones near the bottom, ignoring the blonde female in favor of the task, and mumbled the words on the board – but, nothing happened.

..Ah.. Perhaps she needed more.. energy? She spoke up again at a more normal tone and tried to force more energy at – aha! It floated! It wasn't completely inflated yet, though, so she did it again and again until it expanded just as well as the teacher's had! Perhaps it would have been easier to try harder from the start, but it wasn't as if it mattered much when such little energy was required for the simple action. She wasted time, but, eh, she was happy to have a floating duckie befriend Twinkle. “...My duck.. is Dardana.. I believe Dardana and Twinkle will be adequate friends.” She commented to no one in particular as she leaned forward on the desk, watching the duckies float around contently.

Before Tshila could really figure out what was going on and what they were doing, the bell rang. All she gathered was something about rubber ducks and making them float. But she got distracted drawing a little mustache on hers and never got that far. But oh well! She'd work on it next time. It seemed to be something with manipulating air and that was her specialty so she didn't need to practice anyway.

As soon as the bell rang, she jumped up and sprinted out of class, wanting to go see how Eros was doing. But first, she decided to stop in the girl's bathroom and, you know, be girly and stuff.

”Hey, I know a joke!
A squirrel walks up to a tree and says,

He made sure to scribble down the words on the board, carefully disguising it by adding random doodles of stick figures around it. After all, Morgan was never a hard worker. On the outside at least. Hey, he needed to keep up with appearances, and being a goofball was perfect for him. Though, practicing things in his head was different from practicing it in his head. He'll have to work on it when he had free time.

Since he was so focused on disguising his notes, Morgan failed to keep track of the time, and the bell had already rang. Oops. Wait, no, this was perfect. See? He made the perfect slacker. Augh, that really hurt his inner nerd side. He packed his stuff away and headed over to Xochi. "Hey, sorry that I didn't get the chance to carry you to the infirmary, but since we have time now, I can bring you over there." He mentioned as he was already dropping down to one knee for Xochi to get on his back, so he could carry her. He... was getting really used to this wasn't he?

Veith did the spell like the teacher asked and reached down to pick up the rubber duck. Wait a moment. Where was its head? Veith frowned as he tried to turn it around and he realized that there wasn't a head. It was just a ball.

Water trickled down his arm and made him shiver. The cold feeling startled Veith so much, he chucked the ball out the window that just happened to be open and it went flying out.

"Oh shoot! Someone catch that!" Veith shouted in panic as he hurried towards the window.

The infirmary.. Xochiquetzal made a face as she slowly worked on getting on Morgan's back, disliking the notion of being dragged off to the infirmary. She once enjoyed the doctor within there, but it was still an unpleasant experience – probably due to her father's criticism upon hearing her telling of it. Ah, well, she supposed Morgan deserved to be relieved of her for a – ha, no. Carrying Xochiquetzal was an honor! He should be enjoying the task! She latched onto him tightly as if to emphasize that and sent a look to where Veith was at.

No.. I do not wish to see the infirmary at this time, Morgan.. I believe speaking to Veith – ah..” She delayed her speech as she watched a ball go out a window. That was.. a random occurrence. But, she was simply happy that Veith hadn't thrown Dardana out the window.

Speaking of her, she would like to bring her with her, but then Twinkle would be lonely, wouldn't he? Considering only she had managed to complete the task before class was out, it would only be Dardana and Twinkle.. Ah, such a pity; they would have to breed if they wanted the species to go on and she doubted they would be very suited for eachother. Dardana was too classy for Twinkle.

Doggy mode activate. Boop! Morgan really didn't mean to do this, but unfortunately, the "wolf" side of him ended up taking over. So, in no way, did these thoughts actually belong to him. At least, that's what he liked to believe. All thoughts of trying to reply to Xochi flew out of his head, as the only thing he could fixate on was that ball that flew out of the window! Ball! He even heard a "catch" to that too, so of course he was going to fetch.

It did slip his mind that he might have been carrying Xochi, and that the ball was heading out the window. Also, Veith was in the way of his path to the ball, and it'd be rude to just shove him out of the way. Doggy logic told him to just carry the poor guy too as he leapt out the window to catch the ball with his mouth along.

Upon hearing the announcement, Veith went straight to Professor Novaire. It was time, but Veith felt kind of guilty about this. He didn't want people to get hurt so he was not going to go easy on the beast. He had every intentions to kill it. But first they had to find it and Veith had no idea where. Surely the group didn't intend to get people killed?

"Professor? Are you in? Should I hide somewhere or something? The teachers seem really strict about students going to the dorms." Veith said. Veith held tightly to his tome. He didn't feel very good about this. He didn't like it. It was causing so much fear and confusion.

But it was for a good cause right?

Severin had been looking over some fire magic circles that he could make and memorize really fast before setting off and finding the monster. Veith came to the classroom and Severin sighed. Man. He was a good kid and he got sucked up into this. Well, whatever. If he was part of their group, then that just made things safer for the boy.

"Well, I'll just say I'm escorting you back to the dorms, but I wanted to take a detour on the way to check on other kids. If something happens and we run into the creature, just run out with me, okay?" Severin said as he shut his books. It was time to go.

"Don't worry. Let's hurry up and see if we can locate the beast and cause a commotion. The more people we can get, the better. Remember. The goal is to cause a commotion and create a lot of discord and confusion. The more people sucked into it... the better." Severin explained. "Which means... if we run into more people in the hallways. We'll take them as props."

Veith gave a nod. Well, that sounded believable. "Alright, professor. I'll follow your lead then." Veith said.

"....Um, and professor? I don't know about dragging in people. I mean... the monster sounds kind of dangerous given that there have been people missing because of it." Veith added hesitantly. "Uh... could we possibly... not drag people in? I mean... shouldn't it be fine if just teachers see it?"

Or were all teachers involved with whatever evil Rosentale was doing? Well that wouldn't be good at all if it was all teachers that witnessed it then. It just makes things easier to hide, but still.

"Erm... I mean, the kidnapped students can spread the word about it and it'll cause the school's reputation to go down anyways. So it's better if we don't involve any more people. I mean... the goal isn't to get people hurt. Just... just cause a little chaos." Veith explained.
