Lilian shifted to a sneering drawl. "You mean you don't know?" She examined her nails--which had grown slightly to wolf claws before giving Respeh a mocking smile. "The spell alerts sets off an alarm to any nearby "authorities," and essentially all slavers. The person that placed it on me was rather powerful and smart." She curled her lip, showing brief distaste. "I'm interested in knowing how to break it."

Respeh chuckled "With your knowledge of the spell...it would be considered so. With anyone else this would be more of a minor hindrance." he said "But that spell is quite basic." he said calmly, obviously not joking. He looked at her "Would you like me to break it, or simply give you the means." he drank a little more "If you do it wrong it can make your situation worse.."

So, he has claws too. Lilian curled her teeth, uttering a soft growl. "Unfortunately we can't all be supremely gifted in magic." She toyed with her glass before draining it in one go and refilling it. Lilian was by no means a lightweight. Her mind worked quickly. Her face betrayed nothing, but inwardly she was comparing the pros and cons. After a fleeting moment, Lilian flicked her fingers. "Just tell me how to do it. I have a superb memory." If she needed help, she would certainly get it, but no way in hell was she going to trust this stranger to do it for her.

Respeh thought about it for a moment and shrugged "I would be happy to, provided you can give me a proper reason." he said calmly. He folded his hands "I could easily tell you and even give you the proper material for it, but my kind don't quite do things with being given a reason first." he crossed his arms "So give me a proper reason, and I will...you have my promise." he looked up. He finished off his glass, but did not get another one. He would prefer something a little stronger. He stared at her, waiting for her to give him a reason, hopefully she wouldn't just give up..that would ruin the fun by quite a bit.

Lilian gave Respeh an icy look. She didn't trust his word for anything, but who knew when another opportunity would come along? She knew it was foolish to trust any spell he could give her, but the time it would take to learn about that much magic was more than she was willing to waste. Lilian wanted to get her freedom before someone tried to buy her from trinity. It was only a matter of time, and this place was the best chance she'd had in a while. Finally, she spoke in a frosty voice, eyes glittering with the hunger of a wolf. "This is the best shot I've had in a while. I want my freedom before some other b*****d comes bumbling along to get his paws on me. I have wolf business that I need to take care of--there are people I need to get to. I can't afford to waste a chance like this." Lilian tensed inside, watching Respeh. If that wasn't a good enough reason for him, she'd have to use other methods.

Respeh listened to her for a moment before giving a nice little nod "Alright then." he cracked his fingers "I will tell you the best way to get rid of this curse of yours is through dark magic. It will hurt a little, but you seem strong. There will be effects as well, but nothing life threatening." he said. He was telling the truth, no lie came from his mouth, but no one ever said the truth wasn't devious. He looked at her "I'm afraid there are not other options viable at trinity right now." he told her again telling the truth. He leaned forward "Now you must promise to repeat what I say." he said and opened up a small portal and reached inside pulling out a vial with golden liquid "And drink this."

It's a shame you have no claws or teeth,
Lilian felt her stomach clench, wanting to ask what the effects were. But what other option did she have? Respeh was right about that, and though she didn't trust him despite his smelling truthful, nothing else had shown up at Trinity. Her instincts warned her against him, against accepting his help, but she didn't have the time to wait it out. Accepting the vial, Lilian downed it like a shot before looking coolly at Respeh. Silently she vowed that if this backfired on her, she would do everything in her power to make this b*****d regret it. She could be patient for somethings, and revenge was one of them. Lilian knew how to persuade powerful people. Hoping for the best and expecting the worst, Lilian waited for Respeh to continue. In the back of her mind, a little voice whispered annoyingly, You never specified what or who you wanted to be free from. Better watch out you don't end up his pet… With a low growl, Lilian ignored the voice.

Respeh smiled inside, oh boy her desperation had thrown her into his trap. Respeh never claimed to be the kindest or most trustworthy creature around..he was still a creature of darkness. He began to mouth a spell in ancient Egyptian as the liquid she drank would turn black and would spread through her body, purging her off the spell but burning along the way..and leaving her with another curse, one that would brand her as his as well as slowly open her mind. It would not force her to like it but it would be made a little easier for him to work his own charm. He chuckled and looked at her "I've set you've free of your curse, but you never said I couldn't place another."

Bile started to rise in Lilian's throat, but she forced it back down, keeping the grimace off her face as the liquid burned through her body. It was good that she couldn't see the color it would turn or her fury and horror would have been instant. Her stomach writhed and her veins felt like they were starting to burn. That didn't stop her from registering Respeh's words. A snarl of anger tore itself from her lips and Lilian lunged at Respeh faster than the naked eye could follow. Inside, Lilian was seething with hatred at Respeh and self-loathing at herself, for letting her desperation get the best of her. The thought of being slowed down, stopped, held back by yet another person made her want to leave a trail of bloodshed in her wake. Lilian had done her best to turn her slavery into training, and she wanted, painfully so, to go back and exact her revenge on the wolf clan that had wronged her.
As she landed on Respeh, Lilian pinned him to the chair, her wolfish features showing through. Claws gripped his face and her jaw was at his jugular, her long canines fully prepared to tear into his throat. Many a magician had been stopped up because Lilian had gotten a hold of them. She didn't know what type of magician this man was, but she didn't care. In a voice that was really more of a growl, she said, "Why shouldn't I just rip your throat out here and now."

Respeh saw the girls fury coming before she even did. He saw her every movement and allowed her pin him to the ground though he could have teleported out of the way. He smiled up at her "Simple. You can't." he told her as his hand grabbed her arm. His left foot kicked the back of her leg and making her knee's buckle enough to balance her off a little and with a twist her sent her towards the ground. His hand quickly reached her throat and he put a very strong grip on it as she hit the ground. He grabbed her over hand and twisted it lightly as he leaned next to her body. The other arm was free, but it wasn't do much. He noticed a small bit of pain in his body, but he had no idea where it came from.
He kept her pinned "Because you belong to me." he said calmly. Respeh was very strong, a warrior for longer than most had been he knew how to handle himself in many situations and being anything other than human helped.

Lilian struggled, fury in her eyes. She fought well, but the end result was still Respeh pinning her down. Her body was starting to throb with small flashes of pain from what Respeh had done, but it was nothing new and Lilian ignored it with ease. Instead, she spat in his face. It was insult that angered just about everyone. "I will never belong to anyone but myself. That is not a reason." Despite her absolute loathing and fury towards this man, rational or perhaps irrational part, of Lilian's mind respected this strange man for being a skilled warrior. Most magicians didn't bother learning how to fight. Clearly this one was more different than she had realized. With an aggravated twinge, the realization came to Lilian that he had probably let her pin him. Immediately she started looking for ways to seek her revenge and make this man pay. Her jaws snapped angrily at Respeh's throat, elongating slightly to become more of a wolf's snout.

Respeh looked down at her "It is sufficient enough." he said "You'll come to grips with it in time." he said still feeling a bit of pain. He did not release his hold on her as she struggled, snapping her jaws at him. He held tighter "I'm not letting go until you settle down." he told her calmly, and he meant it. They could be in this position all night light, or until Vanya broke them up..but he wasn't letting go.

Jaw clenched, Lilian fell still, calming herself as swiftly as she could. She wasn't one for exercises in futility and it was clear at this point that the young woman would have to find other means to exact punishment on Respeh. Finally, in a voice cold enough to freeze hell she said, "I'm calm. Let me up, if you please."

Respeh released his iron grip on her throat, backing up slowly as he dusted himself off. He looked at her "If you wanna fight this out we certainly can't do it here, and your defeat would only throw you further into servitude." he said. He knew she hated him right now, he enjoyed that. He would however get to her sooner or later and she would no longer be opposed to being his pet. It was how Respeh worked.

At Respeh's words, Lilian gave a mocking laugh, the sound like tinkling ice. "What an adorable idea. Why don't you make yourself useful and explain to me what the hell this curse is." Her tone changed at the end of her words, becoming harsh and unforgiving. To calm herself, Lilian took several long swigs out of the bottle. She was still by far nowhere near to drunk (being able to heal over 50% faster made it hard to get drunk) but it did help to calm her nerves. Nothing new. Could be worse. She was still in a large castle with excellent resources and she wouldn't let Respeh stand in her way.
