Despite the abruptness of the situation, Riku would find herself perfectly fine. Her Totodile could not say the same...
From the moment he had been ejected, Yoshi would have this nagging sensation at the back of his mind. Like he'd forgotten something he was supposed to remember, or just beginning to remember he'd never consciously known. A faint shimmer would come from the Totodile's right claw, a sharp and deadly sheen for just a moment. Although he was far from as powerful as Feraligod, and he would gain no experience for the battle simply because he had no truly been the one fighting, he would gain something else. Though he hadn't been performing them, the Totodile had provided the motions, seen how the different moves worked, and obtained a subconscious understanding of one above the others....
[YOSHI FORGOT SCRATCH AND LEARNED METAL CLAW!]
The harsh crack of a boot stepping through the rubble would sound the arrival of someone else upon the scene. Riku wouldn't even have to look to know who it was, simply by the tone of their voice "YOU BLEW IT UP! YOU b*****d, YOU BLEW THE WHOLE DAMN THING UP!" She screamed, yet by the time Riku had time to turn she'd already be loosing a sigh "Well at least that's one of the damned things out of the way. We can probably use any parts these two left behind to fix another later..." As quick as the woman's temper had flared up, it had petered out.
"Here" The Head Mechanic said, thrusting an envelope toward the girl "Payment for the extra parts. Exactly 500 for the two of them; we already sent your Professor the 'fee' for the majority of the work."
"Now either enjoy what's left of the park, or get out. Luckily we don't charge to leave the island" Turning sharply, the girl would immediately begin leaving. She had a salvage job to organize after all.

Okay that woman was really strange. Changing from mad to calm again but always yelling. Shaking her head slightly, she saw the confused look on her Totodile's face before returning him to his pokeball. No need for him to be out at the moment. None of her pokemon needed to be healed and so she figured that she would just head back. The mission was a success and she had found the pieces and defeated one of the giant pokemon. No point in just wandering the park. After a couple minutes of wandering, she finally found her way to the ferry. Getting on, she just leaned against one of the rails, content to go home. Her pokemon would be alright, she just had to go to her poke-lot and change clothes, wash some of the dirt and stuff off and then head to report to her Professor.

Nakano would arrive at the dock, and she held her ticket in front of her. Yes, there was a dozen things going through her mind and as she saw the price of the ticket the thought of selling it to someone and forgetting about this entire worthless mission was one.
But one of her high birth and station should never stoop to the ploys of the low. The thought of the amount of pokeballs, items, or even a train assassin that she could spend that money on ...made her walk a bit stifle legged towards the ferry.
She is of high birth, and status, her entire clan would be dishonored if she agree to such a task and do nothing to achieve it. The thought of ...her humiliation at this hands ...made her face turn red as she thought about her secret shame.
She would kill him someday, but for now ...for her clan she would head towards the ferry ...the very strangely pokemon shaped ferry. She sighed openly.

((Just a heads up, you completely wasted your time with the Pokemon Center thing. Akumu Academy isn't on an island, so you don't absolutely have to go to the docks behind the Center to get anywhere.))
((Pretty much you travel by foot unless we tell you that a boat must be taken from there.))
The young 'ninja' would find that her sigh went unheard, greatly overshadowed by the joyous shouts of small children and cheering families. Once her ticket was presented she would be shuffled along onto the boat, seated among row upon row of other people, and the ferry would set off.
Dressed in a cliché uniform and wearing the brightest smile anyone ever did see, a woman would stand at the front with a microphone in her hands. "Hello, and Welcome to PokeLand, the worlds number one theme park for the last several centuries! Much has risen and fallen since the parks founding, but still we stand; forever proving that fun shall always prevail!" She shouted in an irritatingly cheery voice. It was the millionth time she'd said that line, and she'd say it at least one hundred times more before the day was done.
Then the comments about flash photography and safety tips would follow. Soon after Nanako would be able to see the island, and a thick black plume of smoke in the distance.
Beneath them the seas would turn choppy and rough, a black shadow appearing beneath the surface of the water. Something was stirring beneath, and it didn't seem likely it was friendly...

Nakano was a warrior by nature, but she would find that no matter what kind of a warrior she is ...the water was much stronger. The girl was currently plastered to the side of the railing ...while others enjoy this ride ...she found herself trying to keep whatever lunch she had had down.
Her entire being was forced face first ....as she stuff another bout of nausea down ...just as she saw something dark churn underneath the boat. In any ordinary situation, she would have been alarmed by the fact, but thanks to the sea sickness ...the girl was hardly paying attention.
One would think she would have gotten sick on the ride to beginner island, but no, it was the motion in this boat that had her stomach all churn up and there was nothing she could do but ride it out.

In the youth thought the ride was bad before, she was about to visit a page from her seafaring nightmare.
All at once the boat would heave to one side, threatening to upturn as a massive wave crashed into the starboard side. The waters beneath the boat would grow increasingly choppy and violently despite the clear pristine weather overhead.
Only then would they hear it...a thunderous cry like that of a Gyarados, but larger and louder. Waves would crash against the ferry violently as the Pokemon, many times it's natural size, rose from the sea, sheering off the stern of the boat in the wake of it's arrival.
Engines destroyed, and a fair portion of the boat now missing the vessel would rapidly begin to sink, mothers and children crying in panic. The waves would again crash into the boat, the Giant Gyarados continuing it's assault by slamming into the middle of the port side.
The boat would capsize, the world of every passenger becoming cold and dark...
Eventually Nanako would find herself on the beaches of the island, no significant injuries present upon her. Off in the distance she would be able to see the rides and docks of PokeLand. It seemed she'd only need to walk down this beach to reach her destination...but given the events with the Gyarados, one had to wonder just what may lay between her and the Theme Park...

The girl would land upon the sands as water would spew out of her mouth. A small uttering of nonsense would come next as she tries to focus her vision on something other than the sands in front of her.
It would take a moment for it all to register, but the moment it did ...the girl would almost howl to the moon. Land, glorious land ...as she would start to kiss the sands like there was no tomorrow.
No despite what anyone would say about her ....she was glad that she had made it to shore in one piece, and she made a silent pledge to never set foot any any strange looking boats for the rest of her days.
Getting up from the surf, she would find herself dealing with two very big problems ...the fact that she was wet and the second that she was alone. One problem ended up being the solution to another ....as she would take off her clothing ...all the way to the buff and call out Carrot.
The Vulpix would immediately start to blush upon looking, but the girl only rolled her eyes.
"Don't go there."
She would tell him sharply as he snorted lightly.
With a few of his embers ....she would use him to literally dry off her clothing as she sat there on the beach in the nude. A female shinobi knew no shame when it came to the body and their objective, so she made it a point not to show any ...even as it took a good 30 minutes to dry everything out enough that she could get back in it.
With that toast feeling ....and the fact that she got a chance to dry off too ...she would put it all back on, and then start across the sands. The Vulpix at her side, since she hadn't bothered to recall him.
It was time to find out what mess she had gotten herself into ...the thought of the giant gyarados had her wondering ......how real were these machines that one of them could float in the water and sink a ferry just like the real thing ...only bigger.
This place was in dire need of help.

The first sight to greet Nanako as she began to journey down the shore would be a massive bladed tail. Purple painted pieces of scrap metal were strewn across this part of the beach, what looked suspiciously like a giant red fang sticking out of the sands to her left. Gears, cogs, small motors, and a slew of other mechanical parts and devices littered the place, all of them smashed of smoking.
A few more steps would lead her to what appeared to be the remains of a Giant Seviper's head. Clearly this one had met a less then desirable fate upon the sands...

The girl could only think that maybe .....this wasn't a good sign. If there was a giant metal seviper around, and it had been smashed by something ...it had to be worst than the Seviper itself. Though she would cross her fingers in hope that maybe it had gotten a touch of salt water in it, and that had stopped the gears.
But she knew better. Nakano was in a state of alertness as Carrot moves beside her ..the little fox would dance around the gears as he would see himself in it's reflection. Licking out his tongue, twirling his tails, and dancing through the sands. He was completely enjoying himself at the moment ....as he rushes through the sands.

The two would pass through the Seviper graveyard as they headed onwards along the beach ...as the sun shone down on them. The Vulpix was pretty much dancing on his paws ...as he enjoyed the day ...as far as he was concern things could have been worst as the Vulpix's tails would whip through the air. His ears would be pin against his skull as he gave a fearsome pose and then dropped it in the same moment.
This was his first time away from the island, and had to admit ...there was much better places than the desert in the world. He was enjoying the smell of salt water and the feel of sand between his toes.
Carrot was one happy Vulpix as for the moment he forgot about his stupid name ...as he rushes towards Nakano as she started to leave him behind her.
Her eyes were glue on the amusement center ...not too far away.

The closer they got, the more Nakano wondered what she would be greeted with. Her professor hadn't been forthcoming with information, in fact, he had gotten a bit rough ...as the thought crossed her mind she came to a stop.
The girl wondered if maybe ...prehaps ...she should skip this mission and say that her professor simply sent his regards. Wouldn't it get him in trouble, but then again, that meant she couldn't go back to the academy and that wasn't in her plans ...just yet.
She would cross her arms as she continued onwards.
No for now, she would stick with the plan.

The girl had traveled a short way through the sands ....as she got closer and closer to the entrance of the place as Carrot's tails would start to twirl quickly behind him. His eyes lighting up, he had heard stories about this ....place. About a place where humans go to have fun, and a chance to see it for himself ...a chance to ride.
The Vulpix was practically on fire at the sight of the amusement park.

Reaching the end of the beach Nanako would find herself faced with a rather large fence, clearly meant to keep out intruders or wild Pokemon....of course, it would likely have been of more use had there not been an equally large hole in it. As it stood, the child would be able to simple walk in...though perhaps she'd want to avoid being spotted just in case a security guard got the wrong idea.

This was where the girl smiled deeply. Her feet steps were light ...as she would start to walk through the hole with the stealth of a ninja as she would look for the shadows in order to disappear into to ....appear on the other side if she was lucky without causing a bit of trouble.
Though she had forgotten one thing ...she wasn't alone as the Vulpix simply walked inside of the fence.

Yet despite the actions of the Vulpix, it would in fact be Nanako that drew the most attention, her foot striking a hidden scrap of the broken fence and causing it to clang against another. Leaves from the nearby trees had hidden the pieces of metal from view.
Of course the hazard wasn't in the sound itself, but those whom heard it...a fact made readily apparent as a harsh bark sounded in the distance.
It wouldn't be long before a man dressed in black arrived, his uniform barring a striking resemblance to those worn by Organization Grunts, although it lacked the standard white gloves, the boots replaced by comfortable black dress shoes; the most obvious difference of course being the lack of a solid red R emblazoned upon his jacket.
"STOP RIGHT THERE!" The man barked, the houndour running at his side barking once itself as if to emphasize that point.
It would seem Nanako had been spotted.
