Renivere sat up and had to wonder where those stairs came from. But then again, it's so easy to forget these stairs where there. She glanced at Sethrian who suddenly appeared and asked about her well being. Asides from ugly bruises on her arm, Renivere was fine.

"I am fine." Renivere answered with a sheepish grin, since she was a bit embarrassed that he witnessed such a fall. Not to mention she acted pretty unsightly cursing in front of him. She hoped that he couldn't understand the Elven language so he wouldn't know what she had just said.

"Are you certain?" Sethrian asked, narrowing his eyes. This was, after all, the same girl that wanted to heal people and spy on the school doctor while her arm was nearly falling off. He really wasn't sure he could actually trust her. "Do you need help standing?" he asked.

Then he decided to not bother waiting for an answer. Instead, he placed one arm around her shoulders, took one of her hands with the other, pulling her carefully to her feet. "What...exactly were you doing?"

Now how would she go about answering this question. She already knew that she came off as incompetent to others due to the way she spoke, even though it couldn't be helped. But she didn't want to make it appear she was a spoiled princess that had lived a sheltered life until coming here. Of course, that was really what she used to be but at least she was trying to learn and she was starting to get it.

The world isn't all about flowers and sunshine. Of course, Renivere knew that, but to a limited extent.

But Renivere did not want to tell Sethrian she was studying up on the nature of evil or destruction. What normal person would study such a horrible topic? Renivere had almost given up the first time when threading upon the subject because it was terrifying and she wanted tor retreat to her happy world. But so far, she's been forcing her way along and finally reached the base of the mountain of understanding the evils of the world.

Renivere picked up her book about the wars of the world and showed it to Sethrian. "Mine eyes searches for more knowledge as there is an emptiness in my mind of the history of the ouside world. Unwilling to fall back and attempting to break the wall before me, I peek through the crevices of the wall, not allowing it to blind me." Renivere explained trying to make it seem like she was studying for history class. [Translation for the curious: I'm studying about the history of this world. I don't want to fall behind in history.]

"You are studying history?" Sethrian asked, stooping to pick up her books. "I don't think the stairs are the best place for this. Are you sure you're alright?" He handed the books to Renivere and turned toward the irritating little voice addressing him, glowering at Briar. "I was helping her up because she fell. That is all."

He raised an eyebrow. "No, I'm afraid I've never heard of anyone by the name of Silverish Voice. However, given the number of people I've met with names like that, I would suggest you're looking for a member of the student body. A great many of them seem to have parents with no sense when it comes to names."

Of course, that did not include him. His name was perfectly suitable. He frowned. "What is that stuff you are carrying around?"

Helping damsels in distress? Was that the new thing then? Maybe he should pull of that stunt someday! Yes, he could totally imagine it now. A woman falling out the window, and BAM, Briar would be there to save the day. Wait, what kind of lady would just fall out of the blue, much less out of a building? Well, that desk certainly did, so maybe his chances weren't so bad. Briar could always 'accidentally' nudge someone out, but that wouldn't be considered saving...

"No need to attack. I get it. It was a misunderstanding, but I still think she's adorable even if she uses sentences that hurt my brain." Briar raised his hands in surrender as the cranky glaring before trying to rack through his brain in search of a Silverish Voice. The name wasn't that bad, so he didn't know what Sethrian was complaining about. Of course, he really wasn't allowed to judge others when his name was Bailey Appleton. Not to mention, people nicknamed him Apple too. Apple. That was why Briar couldn't voice that opinion without revealing his embarrassing secret.

Briar decided not to remark about names and instead answered Sethrian's question. "Well, I'll just keep asking around then. This junk apparently belongs to this Silverish Voice. It was from a while back. Berries, that was scary! This thing was about to land on me, and... I don't even want to imagine being a pancake. How does a desk fly out of a window anyway?"

"Hurting your brain? That doesn't seem to be too difficult from my observation," Sethrian said. He facepalmed when Briar (after a bit of rambling) mentioned the desk flying through the window. "Silveril Volce is the person you are, no doubt, looking for." Because he refused to believe there was some sort of ludicrous doppleganger with such a failsome copy of the Vampire's name lurking about.

Though given the weird things that went on in this school, he likely should not have so easily dismissed the idea. "If I recall, the desk flew through the window because he threw it. I'm certain he'll be relieved to know that no unsuspecting lurkers outside his window were flattened by it."

"I take it you mean to return his things?"

(( D'aaaw Someone totally needs to make a possible girlfriend for him. XD Though if she's a faerie, she'll be able to fly so he won't be able to rescue her from falling windows))

Thank goodness he managed to take her explanation. Renivere wanted to explain that she was on her way to the library while she was reading and walking at the same time but she had forgotten there were stairs to the door and tripped on them. If she tried to explain that, she'd create a large poetic monologue. She'll just have to agree with him for now.

"The mistakes made will always be learned from." Renivere said. "The collision is enough to make a child cry. But I am not a child. The pain does not invade and creates a painting of unsightly colors-- An occurrence of everyday life."

Renivere unconsciously alluded that a bruise that occurred naturally was like everyday life and how bad events often happened. Perhaps her usual optimism in her words were starting to be affected by her research of evil.

A desk flying out a window? Now why would a silly thing like that happen? Renivere had no clue. Perhaps it was a weird class. Still, such treatment of material was so... wasteful...

Renivere tried to think of where she heard the name Silverish Voice, but her mind was blank. Was he referring to a student? Or a teacher?

"An analysis of the content inside may light a bulb inside the mind?" Renivere suggested, thinking that maybe if they looked through the items, they can narrow the search to figuring out if it was a student or teacher and if it was a teacher, they could figure out what subject he or she taught.

The quickness of her actions caused him to jump back slightly, flinching to be hit. For a second he wasn't sure if speaking to her was a good idea, but she soon stopped and relaxed. "Right... um... I just arrived here this morning so I haven't exactly become acquainted with the campus yet. Is it possible for you to direct me to the dorms?" he asked sheepishly.

"Oh it's...they're over.." Angela sighed and glanced back at the school briefly before smiling at the new boy. "I'll take you over there. It's sort of across the grounds and there are the boys Dorms, and the girls and honestly it'll just be faster for you if I show you where it is."

She started heading back toward the dorms, glancing over her shoulder at him. "I'm Angela Tremaine, by the way. And you are?"

He looked reasonably nice and leading him there shouldn't take too long. She could still make it back and help with the clean up--assuming it hadn't been taken care of already.

Alec trailed after her, adjusting the luggage in his arms. "My name is Alec Gardner. Thanks for this, by the way... I didn't realize how large this campus is." he gave a small laugh. "Speaking of which, it looked like you were going somewhere. I'm not interrupting you, am I?"

"I'm not weird.
I'm just COOLER
than You!"

Timothy leaned against one of the old trees of Rosentale. After a few hours of strolling around the campus, He ended reaching the outermost part of the school. Without a word, He stands up and flexes his arms, an opportunity for his lungs to expand more and breathe deeply. Bending his lower body, He leaped as high as his hand could ever reach one of its branches. After a successful attempt, He balanced himself to swing his body on a full 360 degrees throttle before letting go of the said part.

Timothy landed on the strong branch by foot. "That was quite a work out." He propped his hand against the bark, looking beneath, He can see students passed by without noticing his presence over there.

Weekends huh? sliding, He managed to sit on the large branch. Though He's too lazy to do some stuffs and worst, He can't even asked Ayu out for a date! Irritated, Timothy messes up his wax toned hair "Crap! what kind of an idiot am I? Stupid!!"

"Silveril Voice? Yeah, that's way better than what I misread, but still, desk throwing doesn't seem that nice, but then again, you kids can kind of make people rage a bit sometimes." Briar scoffed. Flying desks weren't that bad compared to his threats to leave kids on rooftops, but he never got the chance to actually do it. "And of course, I'm returning his stuff!" Most of it anyway. That shiny stapler and pen were his!

"And... what's this I hear about pain making colors? Um.... Does that mean that people turn into rainbows if they get hurt? Wait, wait, that doesn't make sense. I'm pretty sure that people don't have lights in their head either!" Briar shouldn't have tried to decipher this girl's words. It was plain English! Somehow, it wasn't registering right. Why was that?! "I'm having a really hard time understanding ya. I know you're talking English, so there must be something wrong with me if I can't get what you're saying. I'm really sorry about that, miss."

(( Sorry for the late reply! >__<; It's okay. If Briar had a fairie girlfriend, he'll dump water on her, and THEN push her out a window. Problem solved. 8D ))

"It's alright, I don't mind," Angela said, glancing back at him. "I was just going to check on something in the school but it's not entirely crucial that i do it right away. Do you need me to take something by the way? It's a bit of a walk." She held a hand out for one of his bags just in case he was willing to relinquish it.

As they passed under a large tree, she thought she heard a voice coming from the top of it, and glanced up, startled. "Er..." She didn't see anyone up there...

"I have to warn you that this school is a little odd. Especially the student body." She thought about Javor Karel and shuddered. "And some of the teachers. You should probably avoid the infirmary incidentally..."

"Just because it wasn't enough to make you cry doesn't mean everything is fine," Sethrian said. "I can take you to the infirmary if you need, Renivere." It had looked like a nasty fall. But if she insisted she was alright...

He looked at Briar, sighing a bit. He was as scatterbrained as ever--though really, what could expect from a Faerie? They were lucky to get more than two consecutive sentences out of him before he tried to mug the first person wearing shiny objects. Saying of which, Sethrian tucked his pendant into his shirt. "I am certain you are referring to Professor Volce. And there was...an incident yesterday. Beyond his control. Much of his classroom was destroyed."

"It's going to take a great deal of work to clean it up."

((If I had another character slot free, I would totally make some kind of whacky girl faerie JUST FOR HIM. emotion_awesome Um..he can flirt with Zhori? She'd find it hilarious and adorable.))

Noooooo! Absolutely not! Never in life or death! Even if Renivere was dying, she'd have to literally be carried and dropped at that doctor's feet if she was to be treated by him (which in the last case, did happen and she was carried all the way to the infirmary to get treatment). Renivere would make sure she would eat a lot to gain wait and make it impossible to carry her so she would never have to be taken to the infirmary! Or she could just take better care of herself...

"I will allow such a task when snakes and mongoose end their warring and make peace with each other or- or if a mountain leaves the earth to make marriage vows with the moon! Yet the necessity is of the task is as important as a fire elemental cares to swim!" Renivere blabbered, panicking from the thought of returning to the infirmary.

Renivere needed a change of subject. she turned to Briar who was very confused with her words. Well, not much Renivere could do but confuse him more and she shall! Because the confused faerie might be able to distract Sethrian from making her go to the infirmary. "Yes! The word escapes my mind. Pain is a painting of colors unappealing to the eyes. A mixture of blue and black and sometimes brown all in one spot of a clear sheet of skin--the canvas. The worst of all, the crimson color, that flows slowly or quickly--relying on the level of pain creates such a stream. Pink is of irritation of the canvas and green on the canvas is of the vomiting of an array of yellow and brown. A rainbow."
