She looked to the door. It would have to be like getting out of juvi'. Just keep your mouth trapped, pretend and keep a smile on your face to cover your escape plan. Rainmaker knew that if all of them were to be stuck there no one would make it out alive, and if not would become weapons for which they could not turn back. Couldn't stop from hurting others, innocent people.

Rose turned to face Ivana and followed her to her office.
"Good, first I would like to say. We have a new scientist employed by Jack and I. Perfect at keeping prisoners constrained, and an old assistant of ours. Would be helpful to your cause and take some of the work with Jack and I."
She shut the door to Ivana's office behind her walking in after Ivana.
"Jack says Dr. Kane Rocknell has vital information about a heroes base. And on another note, I wish to know what heroes we have captures now. If I can be of any help till Jack arrives with Dr. Rocknell, Amber, and Bobby Lane."

"Zere.... Miss Rainmaker, vould you please take Miss Fairchild back to her room?" the German 'drill sergeant' requested, "If you vish, you may stay vith her for a few hours. If you do, make sure zat she doens't go to sleep for zee next three hours. Othervise, I'll send somevone else to do so."

Ivana nodded, "If this is someone you recommend and if he is discreet, that will be fine. So... I will bring up the footage we have on the subjects..."
The I.O. director got behind her desk and brought up the file footage on the assault on the Phoenix Base, and the engagement at the outer marker.

Rose examined the footage for a little bit and turned to Ivana.
"The one in the red and black costume. Definitely knows quite a bit about the justice league and a lot of the heroes. Very good at escaping, and stubborn as hell. Keep your best men on watch for her. The other two, seem to be just tag-alongs but I wouldn't have anyone let their guard down around them anyway."
She then pulled out a sheet of paper from her jacket and started writing some notes on the paper to hand to Ivana. As she was writing she continued to talk.
"As far as the assault here. Those two should be interrogated. None look like heroes I know of, but if this base is being found so easily there has to be a reason why. All the attackers with powers should stay, all others interrogated and killed."
The small note pad had a few filled pages by the time she was done talking. She ripped out the few pages neatly and handed them to Ivana sliding them onto her desk.
"When your men are done with Red Cardinal, Kai Summers, get her to Jack and I. This is some personal info on the girl that might help your men."
She walked out of the room ready to head back to work. It would help time fly and now she had some stuff that she really needed to get finished with new supers to play with.

Rainmaker brought Caitlin to her room and set her down safely. She was able to make it there not bothered. Luckily the housing areas weren't destroyed by that unexpected invasion of the base too.
"Caity, you okay?"
She said, touching her face a little brushing away her light hair.

Jack drove up to the sight of the base. It was a little in ruins from what had happened. It wasn't like this when he left, which left him wondering what the hell happened. This kind of bothersome trouble should be happening to the heroes not I.O. They were above this kind of universal damage and random people annoying them.

As Threshold escorted the Black Talons who were bringing in the three unconscious heroes, Matthew was using his psychic abilities to keep Kai, Arell and Dundee out. Once reaching Threshold's Interrogation Chamber, the soldiers secured restrains on those three with Inertia and Jesabelle. Each of the captured heroes were stripped of their clothing down to their underwear (They've done this in the comics, it's a humiliation thing aaaaaand we're keeping to the comic book codes. twisted ) As the five were each secured on their own individual machine, Ivana saunters into the room to view the subjects.
In her long gloved hands, the I.O. director brought the bracers that Henry Willowfield created to cancel out superhuman abilities. With deft skill, Ivana herself connected the bracers into a massive tech-tech machine linked to each device -- which held their subjects with their arms and legs positioned away from their bodies. Several techs wearing radiation suits looked toward Ivana and Threshold, as Ivana looked toward Matthew, "Time to wake them up...."
A pair of prongs whirred toward each of the five, as electrical jolts arced through each hero, jolting them with a initial blast twice as strong as a police issue tazer.

Tears welled up in Caitlin's green eyes, as she gave a waning smile at Rainmaker, "i don't think I am... I'm... feeling pretty useless and helpless right now, Sarah. What are we going to do?"

Kai found herself waking up in a strong shock of pain. She opened her eyes to find herself gazing at the confusing situation that was laid out in front of her. She noticed that her costume was gone.
"Fk;."
She stated quickly before trying to struggle against the restraints to see how and what she was restrained with. Simple escape right, using her Intangibily to move through this stuff... the more she struggled the more she realized her powers were not working. She glared at Threshold, the only familiar criminal face in that room at the moment.
"Thanks a lot sir S.O.B. Why don't you let me and my friends go. NOW."

Rainmaker looked a little bit upset by this. She looked to the door then back to Caitlin.
"So, you figured it out... I'm sorry that you have to be here."
She put her arm around Caitlin's shoulder getting close to her a little.
"We will escape, when we are all ready."

Threshold chuckled, "Impertinent, isn't she?" Ivana simply arched an eyebrow, whilst she shifted slightly in her stance sporting the black velvet strapless evening gown with long gloves, "You, My Dear, are in no position to demand anything. Now then. You're going to answer some questions. The sooner I have those answers, the less you have to suffer."

Caitlin's tear began to fall, as she pulled herself into a hug of Sarah Rainmaker holding the right ride of her face against the Apache's chest, "I'm... sorry. I just... I need to be held. I hardly know you.. and I'm so sorry for.. being so personal..."

"The crap you want to know... I'll give you a summery of what I am willing to tell you."
She glared at the woman deceptively then looked to threshold.
"I'm red cardinal, 5 foot 2 inches tall, haven't weighed myself in forever, Batman is the name of my mentor, the Flashes make good food, the JLA space station is, omg, in space, and as far as I can tell you all suck."
"Suck on that." She thought to herself. Really not in the mood to answer anything. She might have been a little less angry and just a little more of an annoyance if she still kept her costume on but that was not the case. Deep down RC hoped that her powers of healing would stay, despite the fact she couldn't faze out of the contraption she was trapped in. And as long as they focused their anger and interrogation on her rather than her friends she was okay with getting hurt at this point.

Ivana held up a gloved hand and snapped her fingers. The result was the one of the techs at the controls on the main machine turned a dial. A single intensifing arc of electricity shot through Kai's body. The coursing energy ran for thirty seconds, even though it felt like an eternity for the heroine.
When the charge round down, Ivana breathed a simple sigh, "Kids these days... Alright.... Let's start with 'How did you get here to make you rather feeble attack?'"

Sarah could feel a like dampness from where Caitlin clung to her chest. While still holding on, the mousy redhead looked up with wet green eyes slightly trembling, "Why are they doing this to us? None of it makes any sense. We're just ... students for crying out loud."

Kai held her breath in pain, trying not to yell and heaved a heavy painful grown when the electricity left her body. She still held quite the glare with Ivana, but not so much after the shock. A shock like that shouldn't have affected her as much as it did. She glared away from them noticing Arell and Dundee. "We didn't come here by choice... But they wouldn't fk;ing believe me anyway. They're monsters." She thought, and sighed looking to them.
"Why should I say anything... you are going to have us killed anyway right? Or worse... There's no point."

Rainmaker looked to the door and then to Caitlin.
"Look, you are more than you think you are. Maybe there's a chance that, you can be more than a normal person. Have powers."
She pulled out the keys to her cuffs and showed the keys to Caitlin.
"I snagged these during the chaos. They are to these cuffs which restrict /my/ powers."

Kesshou stayed inside Jack Summer's car's electrical system as they drove up to the base. She was starting to get impatient, not being able to move around, but kept her cool and waited for them to park and the others to move on.

Arell got up when the electricity went through him. "Goddamn ********' sombitch!!" he cursed, then growled menacingly, testing the cuffs. "Dun', I TOLD you dem gov'ment sombitches were gonna do this to us!" he growled. He was PISSED. Every last worldly possession he had on him was GONE (even going as far as taking his black cowboy hat and beloved dog tags from him). If C.J. were in the vicinity, the writer would have to say he would have said "s**t just got serious" . . . if not rescue the three.
Dundee on the other hand, was panicking immensely. "s**t s**t s**t ********' DIE!!!" he whimpered. Needless to say, Arell's courage had not gotten passed over.
"Dun' shut up. If'n we're gonna go down, ya may as well go down wit' honor. 'Nless you got a plan." Arell growled back.

Kai glanced at the two and rolled her eyes. She kept looking to them, almost as if she were ignoring Ivana and Threshold now.
"I've dealt with these kind of people before... I just don't give a sh%t in these kind of situations, talk about things that /I/ want to talk about, that way... they get disappointed and I only have to withstand some pain before someone rescues me or they get bored."
She then mumbled a little...
"Well, technically I usually have my powers... but whatever works I guess."

Arell nodded. "De only s**t they'll get off me was on de dog tags dey confiscated off my person." he growled low and menacingly. He at least had a high tolerance for pain. However, he was also abnormally pissed off.
"'Sides, we're bein' interrogaded by a buncha cowards." Arell said, half addressing Dundee to cool him down, half taunting his captors. "After all, ya knocked us out, took our s**t an' hooked us to this piece a' s**t contraption made in Japan . . . fer WHAT?! Three kids picked up in de desert?!" he stared at the crew sent to interrogate all three of ******** all y'all ya sons a' bitches. In a fair fight, I'da killed all you nutless ******** without breathin'!" he growled, tearing them a new one (almost akin to a Cajun fried Drill Sergeant) as Dundee laughed.
"Yeah! What my brother said!" Dun' chimed in.
