Needless to say, Gale was not having the best of luck at the drills.

It infuriated him, especially considering his recent promotion, but considering there was nothing he could do about it (and he'd always had horrid luck), Gale went about his business as best as he could.

Reine's muscles were sore and aching from drills the previous day, so instead she busied herself with prep work. They'd gotten somewhere at least- once the creature had been caught, it could move right in, and probably feel pretty comfortable.

That was, unless it tried escaping, because Reine had managed to figure out some way of rigging the cage walls so they would give an electric shock. A mild one, of course.. hopefully not too mild.

Then she forced herself through drills again, just for an hour. Tough drills were tough... it almost felt like a holiday to go back to doing prep work again.

The first four hours that day Jerry DRILLED LIKE A CRAZY PERSON. And actually did better than the whole day before! Feeling proud of himself, he took a bit of a break for a few hours of prep-work, humming happily as he fiddled about with hay and whatever else seemed to help prepare them for... whatever they were doing... before headin' back to drills. He would be a MASTER when he was done, he was sure!

Once more Tori decided that she would do drill again but only for the first two hours since she had done so well at them yesterday. Once that was done she headed off to do some of the prep-work to make sure the creature that they captured wouldn't die as that wouldn't be a good thing at all. It had been Aklin that had suggested that they do that last night since he had piped in that it would be a good idea since knowing that the cage was being worked on. Tori had spent 6 hours with the prep-work, for the first three hours went well especially the last hour. But for two hours she didn't make too much progress until the last one were she made very good progress and with the day running down she felt good that she had made good progress on everything.

"Hm. Good point, we'll need to know its approximate size before starting construction. I don't recall finding that information, but if we account for scaling in materials and enclosure footprint we should be able to draw up a decent plan without knowing exact measurements." Jordan reached down to tap Petra's parchment with a finger. "You're better at this than I am," he said. "I'll go see what I can find out about Subject X's size and strength while you work on the plans - good with you?"

Bix had spent a portion of the day staring at what they had built so far. The albino hunter certainly no engineer. By the time he had figured out anything most of the day was already over.

Marcus was still, more or less, stuck doing drills. ******** hated then, but his level of pure sucking at them was alarming. Sparring wins didn't mean he was some champ. No, he was guessing it meant he was lucky. Cass's text got a frown as he realized she would need cuddles later on.

These drills were killing Deryk. He didn't know how the hell Jordan managed it really. By the fourth day, he was struggling greatly through it all, but he finally had a relatively alright idea of what he needed to do. Even so, he definitely respected their resident Sun Hunter for being able to breeze through it like nothing.

Now he could focus on something else.
