Status of mission: Ultimately, a failure? While the initial investigation went well, the later part of the mission resulted in the (temporary) loss of a number of hunters. Two of these hunters turned into insanity creatures, while one turned to stone. Weapons were temporarily reverted into tablets.
Additional points of extreme importance: Hunters are vulnerable to the effects of insanity. From personal experience, it clouds one's mind, and encourages them to--for a time--do things they would usually not do, such as attacking their allies.

Status of mission: I DON'T EVEN KNOW.
Initial objective was to investigate the cause of insanity in the Haunted House. Ended up engaging in fights with some insanity-infected monsters that happened to be halloween students, or some sort of creature called horsemen.
Given orders to dissipate/kill the students, but was interrupted by some strange beast seeming to be a combination of insanity and fear. From some of the hunters and students' reactions, apparently this thing was something they fought previously, and assumed dead.
For some reason, something happens to it and it ends up dissipating or something, and shortly after, there's these robed hunters wielding runic weapons that seemed to be made from students in the surrounding area. Two of the hunters ended up succumbing to Insanity and were morphed with their weapons into something beyond recognition. We were given the order to kill these too, though some hunters deliberately disobeyed and tried to protect them. Some other hunters also succumbed to Insanity and were petrified.
Weapons were reverted to tablet form at the end of the mission, but it seems to have been only temporary.
Additional points of extreme importance: Hunters are also quite susceptible to Insanity, and will lose any shard of common sense when infected. Should they start showing symptoms, they should be dealt with immediately.
Commendations or warnings: Some hunters can't freaking follow orders.

Status of mission: Insanity is best observed in a controlled environment with as little interaction with Halloween creatures as possible. Most samples did not survive upon return to the facility, but initial observations were informative enough to begin to draw some conclusions about the affliction.
Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the ultimate status of the mission. Regretfully, I must admit that I believe my consciousness to have been tampered with and transferred into a statue with my likeness. Results seem to indicate that proximity to the large Insanity monster was the catalyst.
I do not know how my consciousness returned to my own body. The statue still appears to be in one piece, and can exist alongside my biological body.
Additional points of extreme importance: The large creature infected with Insanity is not only equipped with an ability to assume multiple forms, but seems to cause some sort of psychological effect. Close proximity to the creature resulted in a loss of clarity and the illusion that I became some sort of stone construct. The creature's ability to do this is extraordinarily advanced, and seems to result in a physical stone copy of the human that it affects. My hypothesis is that the creature can - even without direct contact or concentration - create a copy of a human form and slowly transfer its consciousness into the copy.
I have recovered what I believe is some sort of Insanity-tainted bandage. At this time, I do not know if it was the result of Insanity exposure or a vessel of chemical warfare.
Commendations or warnings: No commendations. I am recommending that all who attend further missions that might be subjected to Insanity or Insanity-infected monsters be briefed on all of its effects.

Status of mission: Failure - general consensus seems to be that Hunter-side has taken heavy losses.
Additional points of extreme importance: Unknown source of the death of our council - what kind of investigation is going into this if any? Several hunters returned with a case of Insanity, some even temporarily turned to stone.
Case of weapons being reverted to tablets en-masse. Source and preventative measures to be taken in the future?
Commendations or warnings: It seems like we may need to do some experimentation in a cure for Insanity - perhaps we should see if the dragon on the island holds any hints for us. If nothing else, it is a viable test subject.

Additional points of extreme importance: Stable shields and several important buildings have been re-founded at the Arctic base. Base is now able to be used at least for FEAR tracking purposes.

Commendations or warnings: Feeling like I am participating in the hunger games is not a good way to be - might want to fix rationing up there. Also, that base has the softest freaking blankets ever.

The mission was ******** shambolic. We were dragged from one mission and thrown headlong into another with minimal briefing. Life probably knew a lot more about insanity than most of us had any ******** idea about, there was little to no communication of like, orders and s**t, we were basically helping the monsters multiply by killing the students.We should just have held ground till the house pulled us in. The Death hunters were like entertaining possibly students in our ******** recovery tent and overall the whole thing was unprofessional.
The fight against the ******** dragon thing was an absolute disaster, people thought they could like interpret orders however the ******** they wanted, even to the point of turning on their own faction. Some even seemed inclined to attack Caelius while he engaged the enemy. A few hunters weak to insanity turned into monsters and needed to be dispatched but their ******** sentimental friends got in the way insisting that they knew better than intel. There was a complete lack of direction and organization and it was a mercy and an insult we even walked out alive.
Additional points of extreme importance: The ******** dragon fear monster thing or whatever that b***h in the cloak was is strong as hell and can disable and wield weapons at will, not to mention disable those belonging to others. She is out of the realm of combat of us normal trainees by a long way. She is capable of wielding our weapons and we almost handed her a ******** of resources.
Commendations or warnings:
Warnings against everyone who defended the abomination that was formerly Ceres in direct ******** contravention of orders.
Dakota attacked me personally on the battlefield when I attempted to circumvent his defense of the creature. He was supported by various individuals, amongst them, Wilson and Eva. Ryan tried to attack a leader and got a fitting rebuke - I still think he should be watched in future.
Commendation to Harrison Hughes for understanding what ******** teamwork actually means.

Status of mission: Overall failure. Mission tasks were to investigate the source of insanity within the haunted house and later to eliminate the students of Amityville.
Upon arrival and dispatching, a portion of the Halloween creatures seemed to have been over exposed to the insanity and it had affected them. Those that seemed to be exposed were an amount of students and the beings that were called "horsemen."
The priority to eliminate the threat was halted by a impending foe that had reading of large amounts of both FEAR and Insanity, the locals present reacted strangely upon its arrival. Not treating it as a deity but it had a positive affect on their morale. Odds are it might be connected to the previous missions at that location.
The outcome of this mission resulted in strange apparitions of pseudo hunters, individuals that were not recognized from our ranks. They were added to the list of exterminating priorities. Some hunters in the confusion of the battle decided to protect these anomalies. Two hunters were taken by he resurrected creature and what I can only describe as ingested and their power was used against us.
Hunters that have been overexposed to the insanity underwent a strange petrification process.
Additional points of extreme importance: it should be noted that halloween creatures that exude both FEAR and insanity energy should be approached with caution, very unpredictable and protective of their immediate area.
The talk of the word "Home" is a strong indication of their affliction.
Hunters under the affect of Insanity are also unpredictable and need to be resolved immediately.
Commendations or warnings: There was dissension among the ranks, mostly due to the confusion of extra hunters and the sudden elimination of others.
There were hunters that either protected the unverified hunters, or chose not to participate at all and instead, chose to break team morale.
Observation: Hunters are getting attached to one another and may prove to be a weak point in a mission.
-Hunters lack of a team squad captain have resulted in infighting and confusion in the battlefield.
- William should be put in an execution line, or the less drastic measure of pod hibernation as a jail sentence for dishing out his own method of having a hunter come to his senses. end result was needless aggravation and hostility of one Hunter against him.

I have been told the message has been delivered, and furthermore, I can assure you the bodies have been removed from the council room. The room has also been cleaned, however, I might suggest a few more days to let it air out.

I was not on the mission.
Status of mission: An apparent failure. Hunters returned home with weapon tablets instead of actual weapons. Many losses in the field.
Additional points of extreme importance: I have heard word that the Council is dead. Also, I feel it incredibly disconcerting that the weapons were turned into tablets. I feel more research into this matter is incredibly important. Should it happen again and we find ourselves attacked, I am quite positive it would be the end of Deus Ex as we know it. This sort of thing is not only physically dangerous, but mentally dangerous for the hunters on the island - and the effect it had on the morale of the general populace was devastating, as far as I could tell.
Commendations or warnings: Everyone who was not on the mission came together to prepare for (and assist with) the return of the hunters who had been on the mission.

Status of mission: Considering how things turned out- Failure. See below.
Additional points of extreme importance: They have the ability to completely disarm us. I am terrified if it happens again it will be permanent. I remember fog, and rooms but the deeper we went in, the foggier my brain got. Most of the events of the mission are hazy at best, but I remember feeling afraid, lonely, and pining for Home and above all else angry and ready to shoot anything that moved.
The fog dragon was back- the one from last year that had killed me- nearly killed me? - given me permanent scarring damage. But she was able to take the shape of a woman and *take* hunter weapons. This is unfeasible and extremely dangerous.
Commendations or warnings: Beware of the woman in the red cape and the fog that creeps in your brain.

Status of mission: Success at Research and Threat Assessment and Failure at Destroying Threats as far as I know. We were briefed that the Haunted House was acting unusual and sent find out if it was dangerous or turning into a bigger problem.
We fought fog monsters until we were swarmed. Senior Hunters rescued us and took us to home base, where I got supplies (2 medkits) before heading out again on patrol. Portals were down and the base needed to be defended until the Portals could be put back up. We fought and killed several fog monsters. I recognized some of the monsters as students that had been at the Festival from the previous mission.
We returned to base when our shields were low.
Shadow hands appeared in the base and pulled many hunters inside the House. The rooms play tricks on your mind and I was attacked and separated by force from my group (Jerry Collins, Melvin Wood, William Reed, Jordan Miller). I found an injured person and bandaged their wounds but they were a trick from the house and disappeared. One room was a kitchen where Julie the former Moon Assistant was baking cookies. The House tried to use the dead, my friends, my family to delay me.
All the surviving students and hunters ended up in the canyon where last year we fought and killed a halloween spy who turned into a dragon. The dragon was back. There were no Horsemen which was strange.
We were ordered to kill all students and also hunters that had been taken over by the fog, they looked like monsters and were attacking other hunters.
Some Moon Hunters (and others) protected the Hunters that were turned because it is their job to bring everybody back safely, but they did it directly against orders by our superior officer. They went so far as to attack any Hunters following orders with the intent to kill them. At least one attacked a superior officer and they were rebuked. They were not themselves though so it is likely that they were being effected by the fog.
I defended William Reid and we followed orders. He killed one threat in a single strike.
We both attacked and killed a dog student who tried to attack Caelius, and then attacked another one who tried the same thing. After that no more students tried to attack him although we would have killed them too. We ran out of bandages, but we kept fighting.
The dragon turned into a woman again and started using the weapons from Hunters that had been turned.
We were fighting another student when there was a loud noise and all our weapons turned into tablets. A portal appeared and we retreated immediately. Medics were waiting to examine us. Weapons did not return until October 31st and our shields were down during that time.
Additional points of extreme importance: The Insanity is very powerful and extremely dangerous. It is able to turn people against each other, disable weapons, and use the dead and the living.
Commendations or warnings: Commendations: Sun Hunters that did their jobs. William Reed, Jerry Collins, and Jordan Miller all followed orders. There were others but it was a large battle.
