Why do they want to join?: ...she's a thief! (From the Guild.) And such a huge pride seems like a very good place to do thief-y things with less likelihood of getting caught or being easily recognized (since she conveniently looks like a pretty typical PLer). She is legitimately a decent healer, and rather agreeable aside from her inclination to take other people's stuff.

Why do they want to join?: Prone to a bit of a tantrum if things aren't going his way, Aksilik is pretty strong and needs to be in a situation where he can a) be surrounded by peers (strength in numbers and all that) and b) potentially throw around his weight and get some immaturity off his chest. Being in a large pride that has a soldier rank is perfect for him.
