"Thanks." It sounded a bit dazed, but the Rocket quickly recovered. The way was clearing to the Dunsparce, which was .. about where it had been when they got out of it, despite all their best efforts so far, but-

"Fal, hold up." Hayes grabbed for the female agent's arm as she started to walk away, and after a brief glance to make sure Aulus was holding up all right indicated the black jet Panther had commandeered. "Does that thing look like it's even big enough?"

As Nemerle aimed a Signal Beam at Galactic 17's Servine, Darwin looked upward. The hangar was high-ceilinged.. almost high enough to.. yes. With a piercing cry, the Pidgeot flapped upward in the first stages of a Sky Attack.

(We're nearing the end of this fight. If your Rocket needs to take damage and has yet to do so, now is the time.)

- - -

In all the madness the Galactics were too distracted to stop Panther from approaching the jet. Once inside he'd see that it was full on fuel and was well-stocked with survival and first-aid gear. It was also, unfortunately, much too small to accommodate the entire Rocket team.

The combination Drain Punch and Shadow Punch from Shade and Shadow was too much for the poor Servine. Still groggy from the earlier hypnosis, it stumbled and collapsed. The Galactic behind it gasped and recalled the grass pokemon. Looking nervous, he took a step back. Like the rest of the robotics crew, he didn't have many pokemon at his disposal. Not interested in fighting the two ghosts hand-to-hand, he scrambled away.

As Galactic 18 prepared for another attack, he got a random faceful of flames from Faleen's frustrated charizard. His jolteon abruptly switched targets and hurtled at the giant lizard with a tackle.

Celeste's retaliatory Twister turned out to be quite efficient. The reverse winds hindered Scream's progress until he was forced to break off the attack. Looking frustrated with his foe, he aimed one last air slash at her before altering course to rejoin his master.

The master in question was climbing out of the crane cockpit, looking pleased with himself. He stepped to the edge of a nearby railing and slowly his pleased expression faded. There were fallen Galactics littering the room. They were losing. He spotted Galactic 17 run by and darted forward to snatch him by the collar of his uniform, "Stephen! What on earth is going on? Why hasn't anyone radioed for back up?"

The Galactic blinked, "S-sir.. you told us not to.."

"I did nothing of the sort! When the Commander comes back this is going on your head." He tossed the man aside, "Useless."

- - -

The Abomasnow flopped over, either fast asleep or knocked out, who could tell?

Grunt 6
There was an unfortunate squelching sound from the galactic grunt who found himself at the wrong end of a metal claw attack. As her trainer was felled by the Aggron, the Vespiquen was easily knocked out by Revenant.

Grunt 8
The wing attack easily knocked out the tiny green ball of needles, which lay in a heap where it fell. Absol's attack on the wooper rendered it unconscious as well. With both of his pokemon out of the fight, the Galactic Grunt decided to turn tail and flee.

- - -

Grunt 12

Bidoofs were not built for speed. They weren't built for a lot in general. The plump mouse Pokemon easily missed its mark with its buck teeth, then it awkwardly attempted to waddle out of the way of the Umbreon's attack. Unfortunately, Nova managed to hit it from a blind spot. The Bidoof was out. The Galactic didn't have anymore Pokemon, and in an uncertain manner began to try to scoot away to find a place to hide until the action cooled off.

Grunt 13

"My Pokeballs!!!" With her hands, the Galactic tried to swat the feline away from her. The Bidoof was still hot on the trail of the Purrloin (Chora), still rolling along in a Roll Out! Nevermind the fact its trainer was right behind the Purrloin...

Grunt 14

Easily recalling the Bidoof after it had collided with a nearby wall, the Galactic was about to call out its Bibarel. That was, until that Arcanine (Nioshii) was spewing flame pretty much everywhere! "AAAAAAAHHHHH.... FIRE!!!!" Lamely the Galactic forgot about the advantage he seemed to have in an effort to try to avoid the flames.

Grunt 15

Definitely worst day ever! The intruder (Sierra) KO'd him!

- - -

"Mph-phrmp- GAH!" Finally, Bonnie was off Galactic 2's face. The first thing the grunt did was inhale deeply. The second thing the grunt did was get hit by a Supersonic from its own Pokemon. "Whuh-" "Breeee!" trilled his Vibrava worriedly as the grunt staggered and fell, then narrowed its eyes at Bonnie. The strange dragon type let loose with a Dragon Breath at the troublesome Whimsicott. No matter it was on Galactic 4's face. That wasn't its trainer, so it wasn't its responsibility.

Galactic 4, needless to say, was having enough problems to keep from worrying about how to command its Pokemon. Like maintaining an air supply in the face of so much fluff.

Khalon's Confuse Ray missed the Kricketune by a wide margin, but clipped Galactic 5's Granbull as it was getting to its feet. The bulldog Pokemon blinked and staggered. "Bruuuu?" Now wasn't the time for this! The Kricketune charged for the stumbling Khalon with another X-Scissor, as behind it the Granbull Roared. Then whimpered, frightened by its own noise in its confusion, and dashed for its trainer. "Hey!" Galactic 5 pointed at the fray. "Get back in the-" he got out before his own Pokemon barreled into him and knocked him over.

"Bre!" "Vile!" Apparently Galactic 4 had done some team-building work with his Pokemon; one enemy driven off, the Breloom-Weavile pair sighted on another target - that Ariados attacking the mechs. Both charged for Neph, the Weavile blowing an Icy Wind ahead of them.

"Briiiii!" the Blitzle whinnied, wincing visibly under the continued chill of Uta's Icy Wind. Just.. a little bit.. more.. It was looking battered, but the Pokemon forced itself upright and unleased the powered-up Shock Wave it had been charging with extra energy at the Chimecho, then sagged under the weight of Nuu's Hex.

The Vibrava's Dragonbreath caught her off-guard as she hopped off the unconscious Galactic's head, and she tumbled backwards with a sharp cry. With an angry growl, she jumped back up, tiny paws clenched into would-be fists as she glared daggers up at the flying pokemon. "Whimsi!!" "Cott?" "Whi!"

Clyde obliged his cousin with a thick helping of Cotton Spore just as she whipped up another Gust attack to send the speed-reducing spores shooting up towards the Vibrava.

Inigo caught sight of Star grabbing up another Galactic, so he pointed Leilani in that direction. The Meganium happily obliged and launched another Solarbeam at the spindly man just as he tossed aside the unfortunate grunt.

((G 13))
Chora swiped back with her claws, nabbed a pokeball from the girl's belt, and caught sight of the Bidoof coming after her again. With a squeak she scrambled up the girl to perch on her head, eyes wide at the coming ball of fluff.

((G 14))
Nioshii was ticked to say the least. He whirled on the screaming human, about to fire a targeted attack, when out of nowhere Nova slipped in, having taken care of her previous opponent, and shot off a Confuse Ray at the guy. Trae was hot on her heels, too, and aimed an Ember attack. Nioshii was proud, and shot off one last Flamethrower for good measure.

((G 3))
After their attacks at that one, the two Eeveelutions headed for their next target. Herp derp. A human was looking around, quite confused, and they set their sights on him. Nova launched a Shadow Ball, Trae raced in with Bite. The two made quite a good team.

"Crap." Luxury voiced what the Agents already knew when they got to the jet. No way they could fit everyone in there... Ugh! Now what? The grunt looked around. Galactics were dropping left and right. Gah... "Nioshii!" She yelled above the fray, and pointed at the dunsparce. "Get that thing moved!"

Nioshii promply raised his head, found Luxury, and looked where she pointed. Help the Charizard, got it! He bounded over to the pokemon, adding his own weight to the cause.

Rocket Agent Faleen

PostPosted: Tue Nov 08, 2011 10:14 pm

Absol's attack helped. and he quickly returned to his Master's side.

Faleen only paused for a moment once they got to where they needed, taking this time to assess her Pokemon.
"Absol, go assist Nakura, and make sure he gets over here." She told the Absol, she knew Izaya was doing some pretty impressive stuff against that Galactic.

Charizard was roaring from his perch on the Dunspars flapping his wings and gripping the top of the drill.
He was suddenly attacked though, when a Jolteon went driving into his side.
Charizard let out a Roar, and was knocked over, landing hard on the front of the Dunsparse with a "CRASH!".
Rage BOILED in his blood as he righted himself, his red eyes wide and furious as he turned on the Jolteon, opened his mouth, and fired a Flamethrower (18 ) at it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before Faleen could get very far, Hayes grabbed her arm to stop her, she blinked and looked around at him. glancing over at the Jet panther was in.
Faleen then looked back to Hayes and shook her head. "Not even close" She pointed to one of the other ones, the bug looking one, heck if she knew what pokemon that was. but it looked big enough to carry everyone, and it s structure implied better speed then the others.
"I suggest that one."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sharpedo was having a good day so far, and it didn't seem to end there.
The shark burst out from the smog with a bellow of his name, darting himself across the large room in a frenzy, though with no specific target. Spotting Faleen though, he shifted his directed and streaked toward her.

Faleen noticed her Sharpedo, and quickly stepped in front of Hayes, holding both of her hands out and snapping "STOP!"
surprisingly, the wild acting Sharpedo stopped, though not without spraying her with water from his mouth from the momentum.

He needed a new target... hum..
Faleen looked around, looking for someone who wouldn't be getting in the way of one of the other Rockets.
The only two she spotted were higher up, and it looked at if they were being targeted by one of the grunt's Meganium.
Time to help out.
Faleen pointed up to Star and Stephen "Go, Surf (Star, Stephen). Get them down from there"

Sharpedo was more then happy to do this quickly Turing, and forming another giant wave that would be able to reach up that high. While Faleen turned back to Hayes before nodding and moving forward again to take a look at this Pokemon flying machine.
She had never touched something like this before, she wanted to see what she could learn while things wrapped up.
This was troubling, she knew no one here knew anything about the controls of this thing.
"To much to hope for a manual"
okay... its okay, she could do this... hopefully.

Having learned a thing or two from her opponent, Celeste twisted, albeit a bit more awkwardly, in the air to take the Air Cutter on her back as Scream had done earlier. She was looking rough, feathers a mess, torn and cut, completely exhausted...and yet, she called this a victory. The other Pidgeot had returned to his master, and she had no plans to pursue. She'd never hoped to beat him herself; that was hoping for too much. She was satisfied with keeping him away from her own human. It was good enough for her. Spiraling downward, Celeste landed roughly near her trainer. She'd never had much experience fighting other Pidgeots before this, but she'd come away with some valuable information for the future, that was for sure.

Sierra had kicked the unconscious grunt aside, stolen his wrench, and was looking for a new target when Celeste nearly crashed trying to land. Without worrying who was watching, she dashed for her protective Pidgeot, concern etched clearly on her face. "Celeste!" She checked the bird over for any major injuries, but finding nothing immediately concerning, let her panic wane. "As soon as the coast is clear, I want you Roosting, you hear me, young lady?" the human lectured jokingly, hiding her concern...or trying to. Celeste trilled softly, nuzzling her hair, then set herself up as Sierra's bodyguard, watching the area with sharp eyes for incoming threats. At her claws, Marle had bounded over to nudge her head against the large bird's foot fondly, expressing her own gratitude at seeing she was okay.

Layla realized that her attackers weren't giving pursuit...where had they gone? Still, they weren't after her anymore, so her escape was a success. Wait, no, not escape...tactical retreat. Yes, that. It sounded so much better. Eyes scanning the mess of the battlefield, she suppressed a shiver at all this nastiness and sought out her trainer and fellow teammates. There! Khalon was over th--

She frowned, seeing that there was still trouble to be taken care of. Darn fool; always acting like he had everything under control. Not so in-charge now, huh? Time to get rescued.

Her sore, bruised paws pounded over the floor, trying...trying...no, she was going to be too slow! Khalon was still shaking off the effects of the Sing attack, and as such, was too slow to dodge the incoming X-Scissor. He cried out in pain, sliding across the floor and slumping over onto his side. Moonlight...he could...if only it was night...and they were outside...

Before the Kricketune could celebrate its victory, a brown blur crashed into its side with a Quick Attack, immediately followed by a Bite. Layla's teeth might be small, but they were sharp. And besides...only she got to harass the shiny Umbreon.

Rocket Agent Aila

PostPosted: Tue Nov 08, 2011 10:24 pm

Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no. That was a funny trick that human was doing, haha! His old trainer had tried to teach him to do something like that. Okay, Human, get up now. Acier nudged at the fallen Galactic encouragingly. Come on, Human, you can't lie about all day. Only lazies lie about all day. Lazies get in trouble for not working hard enough. He nudged the trainer again, preparing to give him a good shake when Revenant pulled his attention away.

<"Leave him be. He's not one of ours."> The ghost regarded neither the trainer nor his defeated pokemon with an ounce of sympathy. The Aggron, though, was clearly about to burst into tears over the enemy if he didn't promptly refocus, and so she offered an escape from the oncoming freak-out, <"You played too roughly and wore him out. Now come away from there and let the poor idiot get his rest.">

Acier frowned intently at the 'sleeping' Galactic but complied with Revenant's command - she hadn't let him down yet, after all. The Aggron waited patiently for another prompt from the Mismagius while the latter scanned the area for new targets. It looked as though things were wrapping up quite nicely. Well... quite messily for the enemy, perhaps, but quite nicely for the Rockets and that was all that rightly mattered.

Aila halted her brief stroll through the hangar at Inigo's side on noticing that the grunt was attacking the arrogant a**. Well that wasn't fair; she had really wanted to repay him for calling them out. With a nonchalance completely unbefitting to the situation, she slipped in beside Inigo with an offhanded greeting, "Quite the eventful afternoon, isn't it?" She caught her still-present Arcanine's attention with a meaningful look and a point of her finger, "Charmant, set the delightful man on fire, please." Solar Beam, Surf, and Flamethrower. Grudge? Of course not. The Arcanine complied happily, planting her feet firmly on the ground and adding her Flamethrower to the assault against Star.
PostPosted: Tue Nov 08, 2011 10:26 pm

Agent Panther, during his glance around had spotted Alia covering him with the arcanine she already had out. He didn’t need to send more pokemon to the fray, best to save them for later. He belted his pokemon.

Once inside he found everything ready but it was much too small. “Damn.” he popped his head out door and said to any team manbers close enough. “Too small.” An idea popped into his head. It might be too small, but it still would be useful, for someone else. He flipped a few buttons, and dumped the fuel. After disabling it, he hopped out and started for the, ugh, more hideous pokemon machine next to it.

Shade was feeling a little tired, ok make that a lot tired. He looked for his trainer and then flew over to him above the chaos of the floor.

Shadow and the other hand was just getting rearing to go. He laughed and waved about, preparing another confusion ray and shooting it at the next nearest Galactic.

(I think this is grunt 3. I kinda forgot XD)

Uta had begun celebrating a little too early. He was caught completely unaware by the Blitzle's last attack. Being the weakest member of Mau's party, it managed to take him down. The chimecho crumpled to the ground with a resonating gong-like noise. Nuu found her berry, and after horking it down, looked at the blitzle. Was it down for the count? To be sure, she fired a shadow ball at it. Ok, maybe it was like 2 or 3 shadow balls. It had to be down for sure! Then she could grab too-loud chingling and flail back to Mau about how good she won, and how noisy Uta was. Oh, and he helped.

(Grunt 9)

The abomesnow was down, the silly human person was safe.... well, the good silly human person. The bad human person had been taken care of by Tambrey, and that was just fine. Aki looked to Tambrey, then her pokemon, and with a sharp "por!" bound off again.

(Grunt 19... technically)

Star was either more cleaver then Mau was giving him credit for, or a lucky b*****d acting in desperation. He was sure it was the second option. Was Maxwell ok? Well, she was pretty much a tank. He was pretty sure that hadn't hurt her too badly. He wasn't about to leave Nyx to run after agron though. "We have to move the dunsparce." He said as a couple pokemon were having no luck pushing it aside. Mau yanked the gun from the plug, effectively ruining the cord and making the tool useless. But it would still serve a use. He stalked over to the vehicle. Someone had run in here, hadn't they? He thought he saw someone's head. Clicking the trigger of the nail gun, Mau pressed it to the head of the grunt who was cowering inside. "Hello friend. We need this thing moved, and you're going to do it." He made sure the nail gun was pressed securely to the grunt so he couldn't see that it was, in fact, not a real gun.
PostPosted: Tue Nov 08, 2011 11:49 pm

Faleen's Charizard's impact with the Dunsparce scooted it a bit further. The flamethrower he turned on poor Galactic 18 and his Jolteon knocked the pair out of commission. Sadly the electric pokemon was his companion in electric work, not fighting. Neither was prepared for such an attack.

With Charizard and Noishii shoving at the Dunsparce, it continued to move bit by bit. Without warning, the vehicle gave a loud hum and started moving on its own. Inside, a terrified Galactic 19 had complied with Mau's threat and was piloting the contraption out of the way while the Rocket held a nail gun to his throat.

-

As he was cast aside, Stephen stumbled. Looking distraught, he turned around, "But sir-"

Star was suddenly replaced by a blinding beam of light.

Stephen froze, mouth half open.

When the beam faded, Star was several yards away where he'd smashed into a wall. His jacket was smoking a bit.

"Sir!! Are you alright?!" Stephen hurried over.

Scream landed beside his master, looking concerned.

"I'm fine." Star coughed and stumbled unsteadily away from the wall, only to be struck by Charmant's flamethrower. Scream shrieked and fanned his wings, about to retaliate but was caught up in Sharpedo's surf, which tossed the trio back into the wall. When the wave subsided Star landed on the floor in a soggy heap.

Scream made an attempt at flying after their assailants, but battered and soaked, he couldn't get airborne for more than a moment before tumbling back to the ground.

Realizing Star's vicinity was too dangerous a place to be, Stephen limped away.

Grunt 11

After the cut to his side, the Galactic was already struggling to stay on his feet and fight. He even had his Pokemon out ready to fight for him. He wasn't going to go out like some sort of punk. He couldn't afford to. Clutching onto the crowbar he had used earlier, he then threw it at the pink haired intruder (Kunai). Just after the weapon had escaped his hands, he was hit by a random Pokemon's Confuse Ray (Shadow's Confuse Ray). Any resolve to keep fighting seemed to escape him as he literally walked himself into a nearby wall, knocking himself out effectively.

User Image The Elite had managed to avoid getting involved in the fight thus far. She had easily dodged several Galactics, quite quickly deeming them not worth her time. She was there to supervise the Agents and Grunts to make sure they didn't get themselves killed. It wasn't that she cared. It was just her job to keep tabs on these sorts of things. She had only been armed with a kunai knife the whole time, so when she saw the crowbar heading in her direction, she knew the crowbar was going to win. However, she still attempted to fend it off with the blade of her own tool of the trade. She could feel her wrist bend back painfully, though she was the sort to stifle any sort of cries that signified weakness. In a flat tone, she assessed her own injury simply. "Sprain."

Grunt 13

The Galactic did not seem to notice the Purrloin scaling up her uniform. What she did notice was the fact her own Pokemon just collided with her. The Bidoof had managed to get plenty of speed, so the hit was just enough to knock her out.

Grunt 14

Three Pokemon versus one guy. The Confuse Ray prevented him from being able to think soundly about his actions. He felt dizzy and wobbled slightly in an effort to get away, but ended up wobbling towards the Pokemon. Yet, the moment he felt the heat of the fire against his uniform, the Galactic seemed to regain his senses. And his senses were saying "RUN AWAY!"

Galactic Grunt escaped using Run Away.

- - -

Seeing his only Pokemon knocked out and two others heading his way, Galactic 3 came to a swift decision. He ran.

"Krii!" The Kricketot hadn't been expecting Layla's assault, and the Eevee threw the bug type back further than it would have otherwise. "Krii.." Looking around, it saw Galactic 4 unconscious, and with a little wave of its forelimb to Layla, disappeared inside its Pokeball.

"Cut it out!" Galactic 5 called to his Weavile and Breloom. He'd had a look around and seen how many of his fellow grunts were left. The answer was depressingly low. "We're getting out of here!"

None of them were going to fight to the death. Not for Star.

“Ha! And that is how we do things in Team Rocket!” Aulus grinned, poking an unconscious Galactic with the end of his staff; “b***h.” As his pokemon headed back over to him – Paul shivering like a leaf – he quickly assessed them for injury before recalling them to their pokeballs. With this done he did a mental check over of his own state of health; good all in all, tender spot on the right side of his forehead where the grunt with the staff had been lucky enough to catch him while he was still occupied with another one. It didn’t hurt too much just now, but it would probably throb like mad later and look really pretty....

Where was Hayes?

Straightening up quickly Aulus cast around for his partner, the tension that had ebbed from his muscles for a moment returning rapidly. s**t, he’d gone and lost track of him in the fray; he was supposed to be looking after the flimsy nerd!

Aila resisted the urge to offer Inigo a high-five, but she could do little to keep the feeling of triumph from her face. That had gone so much better than she had expected it would. It was rare that blown covers ended in good feelings. Passingly she considered what a shame it was that she couldn't be more specific in her letters to her brother; it would have been interesting to hear his response to the sheer quantity of Galactic a** that had been kicked so early in the mission.

A sweeping evaluation of her team revealed that some injuries had been sustained, but at least no one was out of commission. It was nothing a little first aid couldn't clean up, but it certainly would have been better if the encounter could have been avoided altogether. Oh well. She searched the vehicles for one that had the Rockets had occupied or were in the process of occupying-- and then she knocked unceremoniously to the floor by an Aggron.

She hadn't been far throughout the whole encounter, but Acier was suddenly just so happy to see his trainer again. On spying her healthy and whole, he bowled into the small human affectionately, despite rebuke from the Mismagius accompanying him. But - oh, but he was sort of big, wasn't he? The Aggron withdrew a few steps, raising a clawed hand to his face bashfully.

Well, that effectively sobered any building overconfidence. Aila rose painfully from her knees, assessing the scrapes there and at her palms from where she had instinctively broken her fall. She turned to the steel-type with an expression that was thoroughly unamused. She could have done much worse than scraped knees, certainly, but the thin skin there made it an especially stinging cut. She sighed heavily and reached a hand to pat the shrinking Aggron, "Well done, both of you. Very well done." She had to admit that she was impressed with the Mismagius's leadership skills and the Aggron's willingness to fight under such dangerous circumstances. The two pokemon regarded one another with varying degrees of pride before being returned to the pokeballs. Charmant received a word of praise as well before similarly disappearing from the battlefield.

Things were quieting down, and Sierra had given Celeste the okay to Roost. The Pidgeot finished her attempts to preen her damaged feathers, then nudged her large, feathered head against the human fondly. "Yes, yes, I know, I'm glad you're okay too," Sierra responded dryly, a faint smile on her face.

This could have turned out much worse.

Nearby, Layla made a face at the retreating Kricketune, turning her back with a huff as the creature disappeared back into its Pokeball. Khalon was stirring, and she was silently relieved...he'd been so still a moment ago. Err...ahem...back to business. They had to get out of here to tend to more important matters. Like getting cleaned up.

The Dark Eevee padded over, her own injuries causing her to wince slightly as she tried to help the Umbreon to his paws. Khalon managed it, if a bit unsteady, and was silently surprised when Layla offered him support. 'Let's get out of here so I can get clean,' she quipped, not looking at him. Khalon only smirked to himself and moved alongside her, back towards their trainer.

Sierra was already on the way to meet them. "You two have had a number done on you," she muttered, crouching to check their wounds. Nothing too serious, but Khalon would need some attention, since he couldn't use Moonlight to heal himself at the moment. And Layla....was now cleaning herself. Predictable. Sierra shook her head at the pair, also glancing back at Celeste and Marle. "We got lucky." Then on the same breath, "But you did well. I'm proud of you all."

Things had really cleared up. But they had no time to relax. After that racket, they had to get out quickly, back up could arrive from one of the missing grunts at any moment. Panther looked around to all of the other rockets. They seemed to have sustained no major injuries. There was only a little bit of red in some places, he had no idea as to how it got on the ground over there. Shade flew up to him and hovered next to him, tired from the fight, but clearly not injured enough to have problems. “Good job.” Shade’s smile widened considerably and the pokemon nodded, staying close.

Upon entering the Yamma he found that this would work. He left the door open for Luxury and the other rockets, Shade waited outside, not wanting to crowd the cockpit. That machine was hideously obvious, but they were still in galactic uniform. The controls looked familiar. Everything he needed was there just rearranged. “I can fly this thing.” he said to Faleen and Hydes. “It’s not standard but hell what is in this place?”

Shadow laughed as his latest opponent did the work for him, by ramming himself into a wall. He was excited still, his gasses swirling about his body. There was one last thing he wanted, no needed to do. Where was his human? He glanced around and spotted Shade still hovering outside the Yamma. “Haunter Haunt!” he shouted and floated over begging for a target. All this human stuff looked the same to him, and the only ones standing looked familiar.

Shade saw the Haunter fly over and rolled his eyes. As usual the black pokemon was still ready to battle. It never ended, but the pokemon seemed to be looking for direction. Panther would give it to them soon enough, and shade meet the pokemon, seeming to tell him to calm down.

Panther gave Shadow a glance, and then asked Faleen, “Oh and hey what in here do you think the galactics would miss most.” he held up a hand to Shadow, both as an indication that he heard him and to stop him from causing mass damage right there.

Tambrey smiled and offered a little salute to the Vaporeon; she was very grateful for his interaction, but most of her attention was quickly transferred to Palu.
The poor bird had taken quite a hit and had remained quite frosted; she snuggled up to her trainer happily, though was clearly not really in the shape to stay out. Until she'd rested for a bit, she'd have to be a real last resort.
The Grunt hugged her and ruffled her feathers.
"Excellent job. You get some rest and I'll see y' a bit later, okay? You did wonderfully." She praised the Pidgeotto, who then went without protest back into the pokeball. She might be a very proud bird, but she could recognise when she needed to sit out; that icy punch had really hurt.

Speaking of punches, as Palu vanished, Tambrey winced, feeling quite a sharp pain in the arm she'd used to punch the Galactic with.
/Oh/. Oh, right; yes... That was the arm she'd broken last time... And there was a rather big splinter of wood sticking out of the fore-arm.
Well. That was painful, but at least it was just a splinter rather than an entire wooden arm smashing her...
Gingerly she pulled the splinter free and blinked at the gash left there. Well. It needed bandaging, but as long she was careful it probably wouldn't be too much a problem...

Lasi, meanwhile, was rounding up the crazy spider.
It had actually taken appealing to her ego and telling her that clearly the giant plane-er-pokemon didn't want to fight her because she'd traumatised it into... a... fear... coma... Yeah! Something like that!
So, they should go back to Tambrey and into their pokeballs...
...Neph /was/ actually returning, but proudly and with a lot of turning around to hurl obscenities, insults and disparaging taunts at the giant Gyarados mech; it would /not/ be messing with /her/ again!

Rendevousing with their trainer, Neph was returned without comment. Honestly, what could Tambrey say right now? Her arm hurt and the spider had been off attacking a plane. She didn't want to deal with discipline right now.
Lasi got a smile and a "Good work..." though, before he was returned to his pokeball. She could see he was about to worry over her arm; that wouldn't be welcome either.
With her pokemon safely away, Tambrey made her way to the mech that the others seemed to be gravitating toward.
