Students where falling left and right, all around her she could hear them calling out to friends trying to figure out who was caught and who wasn't. All the while she struggled in her own netting. Clawing with finger of flesh and finger of bone, trying in vain to pump FEAR into her bones to rip at the net and finding nothing but an empty void where FEAR usually filled.
Another hunter appeared, this one waving a Scyth that would put most Reapers to shame, he said something she couldn't quiet make out and turned on one of his own. Then it became clear; Red was standing between him and the students, flamethrower spitting fire wildly about. Red wasn't a Hunter, she was posing as one, she was still on their side the mixed feelings of suspicion about the Gym teacher and over whelming pride at her prowess shifted, Red was saving them, albeit with fire which caused her to shrink in her net, she was still burning them free.
Even as flamed licked at her net she started to struggle stretching and testing to see if the threads that bound her would finally snap. Instead the flames went out as quickly as they started, what little they caught was put out by her own damp clothing as she struggled about causing the ghoul to howl in rage.
It isn't suapposed to be like this! I should be out THEIR fighting! She watched as a hunter (Madison) fired a net gun at Red almost freezing Sammy's cold dead heart on the spot, the shot went wide and the chaos continued. They had to protect Red. Red was the only thing between them and the Hunters leader and they needed Red to cleave his ugly smug face off or this fight would end in a blood bath for both sides. Struggling she continued to fight the net, she had to get free...

West wasted no time hurrying over to Levi's net and tearing at it too. It wasn't as easy to rip this time, and the blue fire that had been all 'hey West I'm so pretty and helpful' was more like 'CUT YOU WITH A LINOLEUM KNIFE!' He frowned when it singed him, but that didn't stop the frown from turning into a smirk when he managed to free the ghoul.
"You so owe me," he said, holding out a hand to help her up. His rare act of chivalry went unappreciated when he was blasted by an attack from some assailant he couldn't see. West took a step back and glared into the darkness, bringing the hand he had offered Levi to his chest instead. That stung.

Hey. Meathead. I know your not going to ignore me for that little pop gun you suck at using. Leave to Nighogg to say something silly and poke gun at his own inability to use projectile weapons. "Stuff it Nid, we got things to cut and stuff for you to chew on." Leon commented dryly before hopping down from the incline and joining the blue flame battle in the place he belonged. and it was anywhere but the sidelines. But that pink haired menace was starting to get on his nerves, running around and freeing the other captives, that had to stop right then and there. "Hey you, drop dead ya effeminate hair colored idiot!"

Hel still struggled wildly, but as she felt a presence near her, and then the relief and freedom that came from the net being pulled away from her, she could only stare up in shock. One being she had never expected to come to her aid at this point in time. Lattice. There was no time to sit and gawk though. The valkyrie reached out and grasped onto one of Lattice’s hands tightly. “ Thank you.” There was…a large amount of gratitude in those two words and in the look she gave the Engraver, despite the tussle they had had earlier. Hel had uttered this to her seriously, staring at the ghoul for a long moment before leaping to her feet. Yes, they did need all the strength they could get, and she knew right who to go for. “ Mot!” Hel cried out, looking over at the cowboil, “ I promise I will return for you!” The ghoul then leapt away from the two, making her way over to the Heir of War. On her way there, she heard something about a bird being free…ah…no time. Maybe she’d find out who caught her later… Lattice said strength…and well, this was most certainly someone of strength. The valkyrie kneeled at Eris’ side, and reached out to grasp the net. Luckily it was weakened already, and one good pull had the Horsewoman free. While she may not have liked her…she knew she was powerful…she was what they needed right now in this battle. “ I trust you’ll make it rain fire upon them instead?” Hel uttered, staring down at the ghoul. (( DEFENDING. Eris' roll was a 6. My Roll was a 1. 6 + 1 = 7 Eris is free))

Colette took the hug in bewilderment and was equally surprised when she was shoved away to watch a boil strike the ghoul she just saved with full force.
WRRRRRYYYY.
Amrita was just set free, and Colette was perfectly healthy! In fact, all the blood on her has just been received from Amrita's hug. What kind of cruel line of events was this?!
While a dragon boil attacked the hunter, Colette kneeled down to Amrita. The poor ghoul looked horribly beat up and on the edge of consciousness. There was only one thing to do.
"Are you okay?!" she asked. It was a pretty dumb question. Colette considered reaching in her pack for one of the pumpkin seeds but --
Oh jack. All three pumpkin seeds are in her backpack. What if her teammates needed them? What if they were suffering utter pain right now, wherever they were at?! Right now wasn't the time to face-palm at her own stupidity, so Colette would have to settle for later. Just focus on the ghoul in front of you.

Lattice let Hel grip her hand and she nodded a bit, "There will be time for thank yous later just go," she uttered softly and then she watched the Valkyrie run off to help someone else whose form she did not recognize.
There was a certain amount of happiness that came from having helped a dear friend a small glimmer of hope in all the chaos.

Aksaja roared as that net landed on him, instantly struggling to get out of the damned thing. Being trapped was . . . definitely not something he liked. Not at ALL.
However, the arrival of the Hunters did catch his attention, and golden eyes widened at the knowledge that apparently Red was some kind of double agent. What the hell?!
Fighting against the net all the harder (especially now that they were on FIRE) Aksaja managed to rip the thing open where the fire had burned through part of it. He also got burned a little, but that wasn't a concern at this point.

It came as somewhat of a surprise that West was now tearing away at the netting holding her in. The flames burned at her the longer she spent in that harness, causing her to snarl and growl viciously. Regardless, she tried to keep as still as possible while the demon tried to free her. And he did; taking his hand and propping herself up again with Legs still wrapped within her tail.
... Sure, West. I'll give it to ya this time. Smirking playfully at him once, she then bolted instantly over to the rough ghoul she'd just recently met, not seeing the attack on West by the first hunter.
War. Eris.
If her gut was right, this was someone they might need the help of in this situation. Luckily, the talk has the same idea. Smiling and nodding to Hel, the tatzel grinned at a now released Eris before her ears perked at a certain sound.
West now had her attention again. Peering back, Levi saw a figure attacking the wrath demon, causing her to bolt back in front of him defensively after he'd already been attacked. He had her back when she was trapped- the ghoul was not about to let him be shot at by this critter without some back-up. Not that he needed it ... perhaps she just also wanted a little action. This attacker had just given her the perfect reasoning.
Claws out at the ready, she glared at this enemy, ... it was on. She had a mind to whip her tail around as usual, thinking of smacking the hunter right upside the head. At the last minute however, she had to pull her tail back in a sudden realization. Her tail still held onto the unconscious Legs of Tess. That would be like damaging one of her peers, right? Her attack didn't get to fall through in the end. Instead, she coiled her tail back behind her and taunted. Try that 'again, critter... I dare ya... She hissed something like a cross between a snake and cat; this was not a happy tatzel.

Mot struggled helplessly against the net around him. His attention flickered to Hel at her words. "Uh..okay.." She'd be back for him? Where was she going? He watched as she freed Eris, the flirty winking Horsewoman. At first he couldn't undertsand why, until he realized having a Horsemen back them up was a really good idea.
In the meantime, the reaper still struggled. He was scared, very scared. It showed as his hands trembled uselessly while tugging at the netting.

Despite still being stuck in the net, Xiu's hopes had begun to lift as Red showed up (a double agent? There would be time to think about that later!) and as some of her classmates were freed. Thank goodness for that! But now...
Xiu strained at the net, trying her best to get free. She had to help the others! Those Hunters were dangerous--she could see some familiar faces from Team Mafia's previous encounter with one of the teams--and the more Halloweeners they had fighting and defending, the better. "Be careful! They're--! AMRITA!"
She stopped struggling for a moment to watch in horror as the Vetala took a sharp blow from the hammer-wielding Hunter from before. Bristling, Xiu began struggling all the more violently, blindly kicking and tugging at the net. "Leave her alone!"

Nefertari had been one of the lucky ones who hadn't been captured. She had clung to the canyon wall in the shadows. But now the tables were turned. Red appeared and helped release some of her fellow students. She saw one taking aim with one of those guns again. Blood boiled in her veins as her blood lust rose. She repositioned herself then launched off the wall. She could fly and could fly well. With a VERY loud roar she swooped down in an arch ithen swiped at the hunter as they took aim. HP: 26 Damage: 1

(Eris is free -- lets see some Y3 fire baby!) At first, as Hel knelt by her side, Eris went rigid, rounding on the ghoul as best she could as if to try to lash out at her, like some sort of giant snake. It was, in that moment, that anyone could see that the cool mocking sweetness she had used against the two had been a ruse, a mask she had hidden the wild ferocity with which she felt. In her eyes, the fires of hell burned strong enough that they seemed to be licking at the corners of her eyes, a fire which did not dissipate as the Valkyrie came to her rescue. Still, there was recognition there as well, letting the student know she wasn't completely gone just yet, her expression evening out just slightly as the cords began to fall away. Staying still as Hel worked to free her, War watched with no less intensity, listening with the politeness of one in certain debt to the other, hissing softly in response.
"They will scream as they burn..."
She had no sooner spoken those words that Eris pulled against the bonds once again, arching as the weakened cords began to stretch, individual strings snapping first slowly, then more and more quickly as she began to break free with Hel's assistance. And as more gave way, the easier the others did as well, until her powerful wings snapped open, spreading as wide as they would go. With a shriek, she tore at the bindings still lingering around her torso with her nails, tearing them off like a spider's web to toss them angrily to the ground a few feet away, getting her legs up under her to crouch on one knee before standing slowly. Menacingly. Her attention had completely focused on the hunters, the rest of the students and even the battle itself forgotten. And in her quickly telescoping gaze, Madison and Jordan became the center, her murderous intent funneled directly towards them.
In a sudden flash of blinding light, fire suddenly erupted from her palms, her entire arms suddenly a burning pyre of red flame, roaring as the oxygen and her own flesh fed it. The skin of her hands had already turned a charred black, dead from the heat, flesh gradually turning from black to an angry red the further up her arms. There was only half a second of nothing, a breath of time they had to realize what was happening before the spiraling columns of fire began to fill the air, weaving and curling like flaming dragons towards the two hunters, the columns branching off innumerable times, filling the air and devouring the oxygen in its path.Quote: Target: Jordan and Madison (horsemen affect two targets) Damage: 31 HP: 48.5/60 Effect: Fire is raining everywhere. The first few minutes after she hit the ground was a blurr. She was drifting between conscious and unconscious, her eye fluttering open each time she came to and tried to stay that way. Her entire body hurt, the pain from the previous wounds meeting the new pain from the impact of the hammer; the shattered arm, the cracked ribs. Everything hurt.
She wasn't sure if she was really seeing Lizzy or if it was just some wonderful hallucination, but the demoness received a slight smile that was further obscured by the, well, lack of mouth. "Lizzy...I...I'm glad you're...unn...o-okay." She managed to get out before her world went black again.
The next time she came to, it was Colette she saw above her. Her remaining eye squinted at the Reaper for a moment or two before finally managing to roll onto her back. "I...I'm f-fine..." She stammered out low, her voice barely a whisper; it was getting too hard to control this body, but she couldn't let it win! The Vetala struggled to lift the dead weight of her own patchworked and broken body, managing to get a single shoulder up off the ground. "J-just a..a flesh...woo-----oouaaaah...!"
Fire was everywhere again what was it with this place and flames aaaaaaaa. Amrita's scream, though not as loud as it bad been in the net (in fact, it was quite pathetic considering), faded quickly. Her eye fluttered and rolled, and suddenly every attempt she had made of sitting up was for naught as her entire world went black. She hit the ground again, though thankfully her drop was a much shorter one this time.

Red's movements mirrored the Death Hunter's, turning to face him with every step. A cruel inhuman smile stretched across her fangs, the eerie blue-orange fire brightening the sharp canine fangs that marred her features. Lattice's shout received no visible recognition; no nod, no wave signifying that she had heard. Only those close would see her jaw tighten. The net that went sailing by her did not receive a quick side step, nor a twitch and blaze of blue fire. It, like the students were completely ignored. All of her attention was on the man in front of her. The werewolf professor said nothing. She had no orders to give, confident in the Amityville students' ability to figure it out for themselves. This was a battle situation; did she really need to tell them to fight, to give it their all? No. Her world consisted of her and the Death Hunter Caelius, her own weapon humming angrily in response. "Do you think you can best us?!" Red growled, raising her weapon up to block the blow. Even blocking it, the force Caelius struck her with was enough to make her arms shake. While she was experienced in combat, straight on strength was not her current forte in her human form. Red snarled, shoving back at Caelius before following up with a kick. "Come and try it, pathetic Hunter!" Target: Caelius Damage:HP: 136/150 Quote: ROUND TWO:- You may attack again for ROUND TWO, ONCE PER ROUND AS PER RULES- BATTLE QUESTIONS? Ask them here!If you are still in a net, then roll again to try an escape! Red's blue fires have burnt out by this point. 1-6: You're still in the net. 7-12: FREEEEDOM! Once freed, you may fight or defend. Should you choose to defend, please note whether you are defending incoming attacks OR rolling to assist someone still in the net. If you are assisting someone in the net, they may add the number you rolled to their score. If you are attacked while defending, you take FULL DAMAGE as you are attempting to help someone from the net, not protect yourself! Please limit yourselves to one action per character this round, as there are still GM posts to be had! O_O ie if you roll for your Halloween character and they're free, they can attack or defend/free someone. You cannot attack twice or help two people get out from a net! Also please be awesome and QUOTE the person you're attacking so they know to update/react accordingly, ktkx! YES you can use your Fear! YES you can attack! ...if you're OUT of a net. If you have a healing item and you're in a net, you can still use it -- but if you get freed, you cannot attack or defend. Also, HP DID NOT REPLENISH. Be careful! o___o
