Karuta stuck her tongue out slightly at him, rolling her eyes. "Of course I knew that would come up eventually," she laughed in return.

Ryou sat up, supporting himself with his hands. "Well, I haven't decided what to charge you yet. So that's still up in the air. And you could really pay me anything." he said shrugging. Long as he got paid, right?

Karuta sat up as well, sitting with her legs crossed pretzel style. "And how is it that I just knew that you would expect to be repaid at some point?" She actually sighed and scratched the back of her head. "To be honest... I've never really met anyone like you before... What do you even want from me?..."

"I still owe you for saving me," she reminded him. "I have to do something else for you. The date has no involvement in me repaying you because that was part of a separate deal."

Karuta blinked at him. "U-um.... that makes no sense at all... Wouldn't it be we did whatever you wanted?" she asked, tilting her head at him slightly.

"Yeah..." he said, lightly poking her forehead with two fingers. "But I'm a bit backwards. So that's the deal. We do what you want, and I'm repaid."

She looked up at his fingers when he poked her on the forehead, blinking twice before looking back at him. "Uh... we might be here a while... 'cause I have no idea what to do," she admitted with an embarrassed look, scratching the back of her head.

Karuta watched him for a bit before shutting her eyes and laying back down on her back, only to roll onto her side to face Ryou and opened her eyes again. "Hm... Well I might as well ask some odd questions for the h**l of it... Did you ever meet anyone you really like?"
