Yvette took a seat closest to her father while her mother took a seat on the other side of the child. The girl looked at her father waiting to hear what he had to say to her. "So what is going on daddy?" The girl asked the man. She knew that he wouldn't say that unless it was important to say.

The Siren Prince, Seth Solindo. Eileen moved to sit on the arm of the sofa, one of her legs dangling off the edge as she waited for her husband to speak. Seth took a breath, then did so, making sure that his voice didn't waver. He'd spent long enough crying, and now he had to move on to the sort of polite grieving that was expected; it involved a dampended mood, but he wouldn't be able to act out as strongly as he wished. "The king, my father, has passed on. My official coronation to become king is in almost two months." He allowed his wife to take his hand, but after a moment she withdrew it, as she knew he would want to hug his daughter for a few minutes. She was right, and Seth moved to envelope the girl in another hug.

Yvette wrapped her arms around her father as best as he little arms could. She had been taught well by her mother on how to comfort someone when they were upset. "Mommy told me that it doesn't matter if a person is gone or faraway. They will always love you and be in our hearts." She told him. "Even though I only met him once, he was a really nice guy and I think he must have been a good king." The smile on Tabby's face said that she was proud of her daughter.

The Siren Prince, Seth Solindo. Despite all his sadness, Seth did feel better from his daughter's words. They were welcome, and he gave her a final squeeze before letting her go, his gaze drifting to Tabatha for a moment as he said, "Mommy's right." He smiled faintly, though the action didn't quite reach his eyes. he'd been prepared for this time, as his father had been sick for the past few years, but there'd always been a small part of his mind that wished fervently for Victor to somehow return, though the family had been informed long ago when his life was ended. "But I do have some good news." he went on to say, wanting to lighten the room's mood from such a somber thing. "Eileen is expecting a child, which means that you, Vetty, are going to be a big sister." Granted, it would be her half-sibling, but he had high hopes that his current child and the upcoming one would be able to get along well. His wife nodded when the news was given, and she was able to give her step-daughter a small smile.

Once Yvette was free she listened to what her father said next. The girl was quiet for a moment before she stood up. She then started to walk towards the doors. Her back turned to her parents. She then walked to the door and touched it. "That's nice." She commented in a low voice. "Mommy. I'm ready to go home." She added before walking out of the door. It wasn't a moment later the tapping of feet running away came to the couple's ears. If anyone stopped her then they would have to deal with her sonic scream.

The Siren Prince, Seth Solindo. When his daughter stood, Seth was prepared to comment, but he quickly thought better of it. Her attitude reminded him of his own spoiled actions when he was younger, but he wasn't completely sure of how to deal with it. He spared a glance to his wife, who's expression was neutral; she'd prepared herself for the reaction, but she had no need to feel bad about carrying a child, nor was she going to become angry, or hurt. Instead, she slipped down from the arm of the sofa to its cushions, taking up the space her husband had given up when he stood.
The man didn't take a step to the door, instead he turned to Tabby, speaking seriously. "Don't take her home yet, but I think that it would be best for her to stay outside of the room. I need to speak with you, to let you know the finer details." He crossed the room, taking care to shut the door firmly only after commanding a guard to watch after his child. The woman nodded, and went on her way to accompany the girl. Seth turned back to the others in the room, though it was clear that he was speaking to the witch, as Eileen already knew everything he was about to say. "Tabatha, as you know, I've been reluctant to make Yvette my heir. It is traditional for such a title to be given to the a male, and even more expected, for that male to be a full blooded siren." he sighed, a hand running through his hair as he continued to speak, his tone not holding one speck of light behaviour. What he had to say was ground breaking, a whole new concept for his people. "However, after several very long talks with many people, I have decided that should the Eileen's child be a girl, Yvette will be the heir. But, if she does give birth to a boy, I have no option but to make him the crown prince."

Tabby knew that the reaction was going to happen. She wasn't at all surprised. She even watched as her ex walked over to the door and told the guard to follow Yvette. "Shouldn't have done that." She mumbled as seconds later there was a scream and a thump of someone hitting a near by wall. She then looked at the man. "Yvette is not a princess. I made that clear." She told him. She was refusing for her daughter. There was no support from Tabby for making Yvette the heir.

The Siren Prince, Seth Solindo. Wincing at the sound, he dismissed the possibility of Yvette being the one to be hurt, as her mother appeared completely at ease with sound. The gurard would be fine, he knew, though he made a mental note to put in an extra sum of money in her next paycheck. It wouldn't do to start of his reign with a sore and bitter guard. He sighed at Tabatha's denial, his face grim as he told her, "I want to know Yvette's opinion on that, but I will not ask her until the child is born. If that is what you want, then hope for a boy." He didn't want his daughter to worry for months, not as he would be. His many advisors were upset, along with his mother and sisters. Not for the only time, he wished severely for his brother to be alive once more. Let him take the burden, though it would be much the same. His mixed relationship was the reason for his departure, letting this future fall to Seth before he was even born. "Aurora has declined the title as well. All I have for an option is Yvette, and an unborn child."

Tabby stood up. There was little more that they needed to talk about. The woman turned to her ex-boyfriend. "I want her to have as little to do with you as possible. I want Yvette to grow up and normal girl from a normal family. Sooner or later the fact that she's a princess will disappear from the headlines and she'll live a normal life and marry a normal person. She even has a good boy that she has a crush on, I think they would look good together." Tabby really didn't want anything to do with Seth. She was going to control her daughters life as much as possible.

The Siren Prince, Seth Solindo. Stopping his pacing as she stood, Seth shook his head, disagreeing with much of what she had to say. "She is a princess, Tabatha. It's impossible for her to have a normal family now." At least he believed so, since even her mother was a successful model who spent much of her time in the media's eye. He resumed his pacing, his thoughts coming quickly as he struggled to work out this growing problem. He'd already spent the last week trying to convince Aurora to accept the position should his next child be a girl; she'd refused vehemently, and demanded not be ask such a thing ever again. His next option was Yvette, also a girl with mixed blood. The people's dislike of a ruler with mixed blood could be fixed if she was married to another siren, and then their child to a siren, and so on until the human blood was diluted. But that was something he had to no wish to do to his daughter; the loss of free will in relationships was exactly what had led his older brother to leave, and what had led him to rebel in his own right. When he finally spoke again, his words were simple and tone serious, but he tried his best to show that he was agreeing with Tabatha's desicion. "Leave. Try and explain to Yvette why she won't have the option of ruling."

Seth had asked Yvette to leave before he talked about her becoming a queen and Tabby had implanted in the girls mind that being royal is the worst. "I don't have to remember. She will be raised as a normal child. Away from her (Insert insult) father. You weren't even in her life till she was two. Not like you wanted her anyways. To think I lost my virginity to a guy like you." It was clear it may be two years again before he was in the same room as his daughter. Tabby walked out of the room.

The Siren Prince, Seth Solindo. Frowning, Seth was probably more upset by the control in the witch's voice. He was used to insults, and words hurt him very little these days; he understood Tabby's hatred of him, but he still found that it was unfair of her to affect their daughter's life because of his own choices. The mention of her virginity made him flinch mentally, but he refused to comment. He remained silent as she left, and after a few moments, he knew that the guard who'd been asked to watch Yvette was back at her post, therefore meaning that the girls were already on their way out of the palace. Sighing, he looked up as Eileen took his hand, and he gave a weak smile. The last he wanted was for her to feel pressured by something as silly as the gender of their child, so he let his worries be set aside for now, and they went for a walk about the grounds. His work and the desicion of heir would still be there when he got back, but he was hopeful that the people would let him be for now.

Tabby was mad and he had dragged him out her out to tell her something that she would never allow to happen. He even was going to make her late for shopping and making dinner. The woman dragged her daughter down a busy street to look for a restaurant. It wasn't long till she found one and went inside before getting a booth.

We are the Sirens of Spain...Looking from her station in the back as the resturant's current shift manager tapped her shoulder, a brown haired woman stood, leaving her current magazine set aside. Her break was up, and she was back to work, though it was odd that her boss would specifically direct her to a tabe; usually the waitresses and waiters here had certain sections of the room that they would handle, and her's was not here. Nontheless, she approached the booth, her voice polite as she spoke. "Hello. Can I get you ladies anything to drink?" She looked from the girl to the woman, whom she assumed was the child's daughter. However, after a few seconds, she realized the reason for her being sent to this booth. These two were foreigners, and she was the only waitress available that could speak English well enough to take orders. "Oh, I am sorry. Do you speak only Ingles?" Breifly, she had a sense of déjà vu; the females looked familiar, but she quickly aside the thoughts as she prepared to put her language lessons to use.

The woman looked up. She didn't study Spanish in high school. It was recommended that warlocks and witches learn runes. "I only speak English, but my daughter knows Spanish." She answer turning to the menu. She didn't know what the other woman had said before. Yvette looked at the woman then her mother. "She asked about drinks." The girl said with a smile. "We'll have water." The mother answered.
