Team Luminous FluxShe touched his hand. She touched his hand.
And she patted his back. His Jackin' back.
Asldkfnsldf;dsa Joining an all ghoul team was the best idea evar. NO REGRETS.
Both Mei and LW might find that beneath the corpse flesh, for that brief moment of physical contact, that there had been a mild electrical current that had suddenly ran through his body. A soft hum could be heard if nothing else, especially coming from the top of his head. Also, his hair stuck up just a taaaad bit more.
It was then and there, as he dedicated Natalia and Whisp's names to memory as well, that Mortimer decided he was going to be a death knight in black armor for these ghouls. Why? Because pretty ghouls need protecting, that's why. Also more touching. He might fall apart doing so, but . . . but Jack darn it he would re-die trying. Also, there was a lot of thread just in case it got hairy!
Although he had to side with Mei about dying. After all, Mort had already died, and look where it had brought him; it didn't occur to him that dying in the Human World when he wasn't human anymore might have worse consequences than simply respawning like they did in video games. "Will be fine!" the zombie assured them happily, the minor surge of electricity from his brain negating his anxiety for the moment. "Have pills. Good fight-ers? N' ee-ex-pee. LFX for the win!" This was followed by a quick fist pump.
Well, he assumed they had experience: most of them (if not all) were older than Mort, and he had heard talk from other groups that this was not the first trip to the Human World they had gone to.
On a side note: he hoped no-one asked him what Luminous Flux (or LFX as he called it) even meant. It was embarrassing enough that the two words put next to each other put up a challenge to pronounce. Were they smart people words? He should have brought a dictionary too, maybe . . .

Team Luminous FluxWhisper allowed herself to be pulled around, and as she moved she planted a sweet kiss on Natalia's cheek. She was so excited to be here with her team, and no matter what happened she was sure they would be invincible. For the sake of her poor mind, she prayed that they would be. Whisper already knew that even if one of them died, she would go berserk. IT was a part of her nature that she was not proud of, but she also knew that she would not be able to control it. Hell, she lost it when Curse was being attacked, and he was a minipet.
Whisper shook the thoughts away and focused on what was happening now. She broke away from her lover for a short moment so she could give a very large hug to Mei, LW and Mort. If she was a hellcat she would have been purring quite intensely, but instead she was wagging her tail fairly uncontrollably. "It's great to see you guys, I'm so glad we could all do this together. Really, I can't even show you how happy I am to see you all."
She had such a warm smile on her face, occasionally glancing around. This was her team, and through this trip they would be her everything. She would protect them with everything she had, no matter what she had to do. Even if that meant throwing herself in the line of fire, there would be no hesitation.

Team TBD~ Simone was actually quite excited about the newest field trip adventure than the school had set up for them. She was running slightly late for meeting up with her team in Room 207, at least by her clock. The room was already swimming with activity, students bustling about, meeting up with their teams, boogeymen, and a few faculty as well. Her first school field trip had been cut short after the train. She made it out of there, but ended up getting turned around and lost. The demon never did find her team again, but school carried on as usual afterwards. As she was making her way through the crowd, the ghoul's skellyphone chimed the sound that let her know that she had a text. Simone stopped her walking, pausing to glance around to see if anyone nearby was looking her way, and, as surreptitiously as she could, withdrew her phone from between her boobs. Why not keep it there? Her outfit, all leather as was decided by the team, had a keyhole or whatever it was called, exposing her cleavage quite nicely. Her outfit was a sleeveless, short one piece little number. And she had no problem with it, save perhaps for the lack of pockets. The amount of skin she was showing wasn't unusual, so she was still within her comfort zone, clothing-wise. Opening the text, Simone lifted her head to try to peer over the people around her, her heels helped some, but she wasn't wearing her tallest pair. If there was a bunch of walking and hiking, or running, to do, she didn't want to be in shoes that would possibly destroy her ankles. No thank you. "Night?" She called out, trying to stand on her tip toes. "You around here?"

Team Ninja It probably wasn't a huge surprise that Mai was late for the meetup. To be fair, the ghoul did leave her dorm early that day in order to make it on time. While she was on her way to room 207, however, she happened to pass by a *very* inviting looking bench. Or rather, the cute reaper sitting on the bench looked very inviting. Ok, actually, both the bench and the boil were probably equally inviting because even after the poor student had fled Mai's advances, she stayed sprawled on the seat. She found the cold stone quite comfortable. So comfortable in fact that she decided it warranted some napping.
She woke up some hours later feeling like she'd forgotten something important that she needed to do. The sensation didn't really hold her interest though, because she pretty much felt that way all the time due to the compulsion of her summoning seal. It didn't dawn on her that there was an actual legitimate reason for the feeling this time until she was about half way back to the ghost dorms. At first she thought she was just carrying the overloaded school bag around as a pillow. Seemed plausible. And my if her wisps weren't trying very hard to get her attention by flashing and pulsing their blue lights at her. She thought they were just trying to play some kind of silly game and she batted at them in amusement. But seeing herself in the skimpy ninja getup as she passed a reflective window finally jogged her memory sufficiently enough to get the ghost back on track. Cursing, she adjusted her route and rushed to catch up with the departing students.
When Mai finally made it to the portal, she was greeted by some very enthusiastic gnomes. Curiously, the little creatures seemed quite convinced that the contents of her pack were of little concern and spent much more time and effort searching her person. The ghoul wasn't sure what exactly they were expecting to find underneath the thin fabric and mesh that her team uniform consisted of, but they were mighty thorough.
Trying to shake the feeling that something inappropriate has just transpired, Mai wafted her way through the portal to meet up her team on the other side. It took a bit of searching to locate the other four students, but she finally saw them clustered together and made her approach.
"Hellooo," she said airily when she got close enough. "I'm sooorry for being late." She gave a sleepy smile and peered around. Oh, my. Everyone looked so.. good. She tried not to ogle. She probably failed.
"Haaave I missed anything?" the ghoul asked as she stepped very close to Aurian and leaned lightly shoulder-to-shoulder.

Riyo's eyes narrowed as she followed Xiu's glance towards her fellow teammates, unimpressed by what she saw. Though, it looked like Mot's buzz was gone. Thank Jack...
Then again, what if he crashed right at the beginning of this venture? Dammit Mot. "Oh, yeah. Uniforms." Riyo's eyes fell on the orange band on her arm momentarily... Then back to Xiu who was... Flashing her? The cat ghou's cheeks gained a small red tint even though it was just her fellow demon's shorts. "A-alright then."
What the hell was this about moving back to the group now? "I'm not hindering you from speaking to them." Which reminded her. Momentarily she glanced from Mitsu to Xiu, keen on comparing the similarities between the two. "If you want to speak to them, go speak to them. Personally, if I'm going to be stuck with all four of these people for a long time, I'd rather keep a small distance beforehand. Y'know. To keep my sanity in tact."

 TEAM SKULLKER
The nix paused and frowned slightly as Ren addressed him, his gaze lifting up to the sky as he tried to recollect all that had happened during that first fieldtrip. After a moment or two though, he turned a lazy glance down at the lazy griffon, "Yes well, if you thought I was big then, you should probably see me now," the words were drawled out in a whisper, his head having leaned down to talk into the other boil's ears and thus, avoid other people hearing him. After all, his words were dripping with both sarcasm and double meaning, which was mostly somewhat of n inside joke he had going on with the bird boil.
Satisfied with his retort and feeling like he'd missed such simple pleasures for much, much too long, Gabrian turned his head, watching as Tybalt arrived on scene. He arched a brow at the small, obviously canine-like boil and watched the scene that played out between him and the griffon, looking almost amused. This was much, much worse than when he'd started off with Ren himself, so long ago. It wasn't until the ghost had snapped and stated his intentions that the nix finally spoke up, "Well, apparently bird brain here seems to bring up instant animosity in a lot more people than I initially thought he did. Also makes me feel better knowing I wasn't the only one to start off on a left foot with him," he leaned his left arm over the griffon's head, pillowing his head there, almost as if using his friend like some sort of table or stool before offering his free hand to the ghost, "My name is Gabrian, and I believe I recall you from the Valentine's day ordeal, in which a friend of mine had me auctioned off. I think you were voted for something - I recall voting for you and your date," that said, he leaned off of Ren and watched as the other members of the team gathered.
Jove received a small pat on the head for his tail wag (or at least the action was attempted) and Cora received a long glance as the nix realized that despite having seen her around once or twice, he'd never really stopped to talk to her. Her introduction was enough to force him to crack a smile; this ghoul was hardly shy at all! "Gabrian," he told her, though he paused mid word as he noticed her hat not only talked, but was in fact... insulting them. That and she had the most adorable cat sprawled over her shoulder, but right now the hat was taking up most of the nix attention, "That's.... that's an interesting hat you've got there, and it's insinuations are quite unfounded. Ren has a ghoulfriend, Jove's most harmless, Tybalt..." he eyed the ghost dog and shrugged - someone voted as the cutest couple in a valentine's ball couldn't be all that dangerous to a ghoul, "And me... well, I might be a serpent, but I'm not as bad as all that," he turned to Ren after saying that, "Am I?" it was clear that despite his words, he was joking.

Team SteadfastYuki supposed that Mandy and Astra were right; the pills would be used on who needed them most. Though, that still didn't seem to make the decision on who would carry them any easier. "Well, I can carry one if you want? I wouldn't want to carry all three... You know, just in case."
Since he was already dead, there wasn't much worry in his voice. He had however, at least been educated on the fact that it would be quite inconvenient to suffer from severe injury during an outing, only to awake to find oneself far from where they had originally been. A funny thing, Fear was.
Removing one of the three pills from the trio, he replaced it in one of his pockets with the assumption that it was acceptable. He listened when Tess suggested they compare supplies; something that made him feel rather under prepared after the responses it gained. "I just brought some spare clothes and the typical hygienic stuff... Guess I should have packed more."

Team: League of Extrodinary Students "Makes sense," Draven replied to Myr. He looked at the crowd again. There were a ton of students, and while getting through the bag check had been quick for him (he'd packed light-little more than a couple toiletry items and a change of clothes), he'd seen others having a bit more of a time with it. "Great!" he said to Nefertari as she moved to get the pills. He had a feeling they were going to need those. He looked back at Myr. "Wonder what they are going to throw at us this time? We'll beat it, whatever it is! Won't we?" The demon was excited. A bit wary, but still excited.

Team NinjaWas he sure about giving up his pill to his ghoulfriend and the rest of the ladies? "Yeah, I'm sure." Black fingers rose to tug his mask down down around his neck, and he gave a reassuring smile down to the ghoul beside him before offering the same to the other two members of their team currently with them. As a ghost, Seiji was supposed to be harder to kill then. It hadn't worked that way on the island... But. "I'm sure we'll all be fine, but I'd just feel better if the ghouls all had one." The smile slipped a little, but he kept it from sliding away completely. "I can't speak for Vaith though." It didn't seem as though the other boil had any protests though. Red eyes twitched out to all the parties milling about, loking for the ghoul's Junko had been calling to. He spotted them as well as some of his other friends, and the smile finally faded completely. Junko kept telling him not to worry, but he wasn't sure how exactly to do that. She was right in that it didn't feel like their last fiasco of a field trip. It seemed better planned, the staff were more in charge, but he wasn't about to take for granted that nothing unexpected would happen. Quietly he watched Aurian and Vaith speaking together. Eyes following the progression of the familiar from one reaper's arm and onto the next. The corners of mouth twitching, then further raising as Vaith spoke, back tracked, then started over. Chuckling softly. "S'cool, bro." He knew what they meant. A bit of brightness nearing them caught the boil's attention and he glanced over Aurian's shoulder towards the approaching wisp. "Hey Mai, welcome to the party." He almost asked what had kept her, but it wasn't really his business. "You haven't missed much. Red gave us pumpkin pills, Junko's got yours." Black fingers rubbed absently at the back of his neck. "I guess this is some Boogeyman training course, and we're supposed to work together to get through it." The latter had been easy enough to guess really, or why make teams at all? He blinked, recalling then that perhaps he ought to introduce himself to those in his team he hadn't yet formally met. He'd known their names ahead of time, so he knew who was who, but if they were going to be a team then they might as well start on a nice, polite foot. "And I'm Seiji by the way." He offered his blackened hand out between them, sort of to both reapers. It was convenient, having control of darkness that stained his skin. Meant he didn't always have to have a claw now.

Team TBA Oh....Oh this was good. Sarias caught herself in the reflected glass and paused. Dam. Who ever picked this outfit to wear could be welcome to help her take it off. She loved it. She was known for her leather corset but this! Even this was OTT even for her. And she liked it. She was in a good mood. Highly surprising for one such as she, the resident rage ball of rage and to top it all of this was indeed another field trip. Maybe if she was really lucky, and really, really, good, she would get to see some of her fellow students die again. Oh she had a good few in mind who she would love to watch again...Yet there was no time to get distracted now. She had a team to meet and great, students she had never met before. She had high hopes they were not stupid idiots but the ratio at this school was highly damning. She would be lucky if she had one intelligent person to converse with.
She made her way through the crowd, each team cosy-ing up with each other, each one in their own outfit, some almost passing as similar to her own making her weary of who to ask. But it didnt take long for her to spot the bare chest of the ghost cat. "Oh...goody..." she purred as she pushed her way towards him, elbows and flat palms shoving people until she could reach him.
"Night i presume? The only other ghost than myself right?" She leaned in making sure her spiky dress touched him slightly. "We should aim to stick together on this trip, never know when a bare chest will come in handy." She added with a laugh. She wasn't interested in him that way but she could still appreciate the male physic while it was on display. She just hopped a the others in her group followed the trend.

Legs was very happy with this group! They weren't telling her to get lost or to stop her affectionate manner of greeting! Hee hee hee, they were going to be so good for her, she could tell!
Tess had to admit, the uniforms was a nice touch. Legs thoroughly approved of the miniskirts, specifically its length that allowed her to show off just enough skin where the hem ended and the knee-high socks began. She listened and studied and gave what the others brought a look over.
"Too bad we weren't allowed to bring weapons. Th-then again, anything can be used as a weapon, right? W-who knows what sorts of things Red and the Boogeymen have planned for us. And if we're being given pumpkin pills you can bet it's not going to pleasant..." she frowned. "U-um, I don't mind carrying a pumpkin pill as well. Which means Yuki and I now carry one. So the third one will be..." she side-eyed the gluttony demon with mild concern. Hopefully if Claire volunteered to carry one, her second mouth wouldn't be able to get to it. Unless absolutely necessary.
"U-um, well, who will carry the third pill? Legs, no, you will NOT be carrying it. We count as one, remember?" the winged vampire huffed, giving the jumping lower half a glare for good measure.

"You're not that big," Ren muttered to Gabrian, giving the other a surreptitious smirk, ear flicking towards the nix. He had, most definitely, caught the double meaning and returned it right back without a second thought, though he was definitely talking about the nix's snake form. It felt good to be bantering with the demon again; one of the things Ren had missed while he was away.
He frowned at Vaith's raised eyebrows from across the way, giving the other a pointed look as if to say MY outfit? What about YOUR outfit, dude?
Except he couldn't really deny that his friend's outfit was, in fact, pretty badass. Dressed in black, his hair tied back, the reaper looked much less like his perpetually scowly self and more confident, the noise dragon on his shoulder only adding to that image.
And, if it weren't for the frown on his face, Ren might have said Vaith looked nothing like his old self. But the familiar frown, instead of making Ren worry, actually reassured him in a way. He gave a little wave to the reaper, then turned back to Tybalt.
"I never said we had to like each other," he said with a small sigh, then reached out and shook the black dog's hand.
They let go extremely quickly.
"Stop calling me birdbrain, Sir Snake," said Ren, though it wasn't really very strong and his voice was rather vague. He gave a small squawk as he felt an arm land on his head, and craned his neck upwards, eyes only catching a glimpse of emerald hair beneath the hood of the sweatshirt.
"As I recall," Ren said, with as much dignity as he could manage with a demon flopping on him. "You were the one who was being a derp. And then at the spin the bottle, you were the one who was being obnoxious."
Thinking of that night made Ren think of Alessa, which made his heart sink with a pang. He had really - really - not wanted to leave her behind, but she had chosen to opt out this time, since she had been gone so long already.
The arrival of Jove dragged Ren away from his negative thoughts, reaching out to snag the boil in a one armed hug as his little brother's head prodded into his shoulder. "Hey, you," he said affectionately, although there was the barest hint of anxiety to his voice as well.
That was not to be explored, however, since a familiar, orange-haired ghoul had come swaggering up to where they stood - Coralie.
"I know who you are, yes," Ren said dryly, his voice laced with amusement as he lifted a hand in greeting to the witch. "It was a long time ago, but I was at your truth or dare game. You kissed one of my - "
He paused, trying to figure out just what exactly Natalia was. "Er," he finished, rather lamely. "My friend. Yeah."
Speaking of the werelemur, where was she? And his ghoulfriend, for that matter, since LW was supposed to have been with her. Ren's eyes scanned the crowd, his heart clattering in his chest as he tried to search for any sign of her, a flash of red hair, a tail -
There. Standing just a few feet away, with Mei-Xiu, Whisper, and Natalia and someone else Ren didn't know. But he was not focused on those people, not right now. He stepped momentarily away from his group.
Reaching out, Ren's fingers closed around the she-wolf's wrist, and he yanked her towards him. Without even a second thought that Gabrian, Tybalt, Jove, and Cora were standing somewhere behind him, he swung his ghoulfriend up into his arms and kissed her, his hands on either side of her face.
When he pulled away, he laid his forehead against hers and smiled, his thumb brushing against her cheek.
"Be careful," Ren said, in an almost pleading voice, though his eyes were still amused. "Please?"

Team: Scarlet SabbathGlowsticks? Glowsticks??? Gargantuan couldn't care less about who got to hold the tasty looking pumpkin pills--there were glowsticks! If he had eyes, they would be very wide and round at this moment. Instead, the big monster just shuffled awkwardly closer to Dani, attempting to... well, lean on her and see if she wouldn't get the hint.
G often forgot about the size difference between him and most students.
"Can has?" The beast thumped his tail pleadingly at his teammates, excited. "Can has glowstick?"

Team Scarlett SabbathSuddenly towering monsters. This must be G.
Nyyrikki blinked up at the green wall and couldn't help but smile. Despite looking like he could smoosh a building, he was kind of adorable, in a lost puppy kind of way. He even wagged his tail... with the force of giant boulders hitting the ground. Rikki slipped two blue glowsticks off his wrist and clicked them together into one bracelet large enough to fit on G. These ones he snapped so they glowed in the fading light of the day for the monster. "There you go. A glowstick for G."

Xiu peered up at Riyo curiously, tilting her head with confusion. "What do you mean, Riyo? Wouldn't it be nice to spend more time with your group?" She was personally really excited to spend time with the rest of her teammates, but then again, remembering what Riyo had said before about friendship...
"They're a good group to be with," She smiled, gesturing towards where the others stood, "The five of you will make a strong team, I think." And maybe Riyo would learn to get along with some of them? While Xiu knew that Riyo had met Mitsu before, she was unaware that she had also made Shun's acquaintance as well.
Reaching out, she gently closed her hand around Riyo's wrist--loose enough that the feline ghoul could pull away if she wanted--and attempted to lead her back towards the rest of her team. "Aniki, Mitsu!" She raised her free hand to wave at the pair, pleased to see them. She wanted to greet Hel and Mot as well, but it seemed that the former was busy talking to her sister, and the latter...
...Was something wrong? Looking back towards Riyo, the Baku lowered her voice and knit her brows in concern. "What's wrong with Mot?"
