...This was really disturbing to watch, actually. Watching Roch scarf down all of this food (DEAR JACK) made her shudder enough, but to see the ghost ghoul--who she had first thought was Lattice--devour almost just as many of the hot wings as the reaper?

Uggggh.

Xiu shot Junko a small grimace, but she also gave her friend a thumbs up. IT WAS...going pretty well, she supposed?

Pizza! Roch grinned, digging into the next offering. He had HONESTLY forgotten that this was a competition and was just enjoying himself over a really good snack.

Oh lord, boil, it's no wonder you've almost killed yourself so many times...

There were no words for what happened as Andeon took hold of the pizza and began to swallow it down, but it began with a feeling. A bubbling sensation that turned his stomach over and sucked the color from his skin. His narrowed eyes widened slowly, thin slivers becoming wide and round as realization set it.

* It was going to happen.

No, not going to happen, Andeon realized. It was happening right then and there, and not even the gates of Hell would have been string enough to hold back the burning horde of bile and food chunks than came out of him. The mindflayer erupted like a living Mount Vesuvius, the students around him nothing more than the unwitting inhabitants of a brand new Pompeii.

Demi just watched agape at the boxes being brought out.

"Hey its not to late to join in right?!" he called out to Shehk, forgetting to continue in canine speak. "RIGHT?"

Even after all that food, he was still surprised that the dainty ghoul had space for more. "holy JACK don't give up now ghoulie!"

Cady's expression fell as she watched them move into one round...and then another...and then another. She felt something, then; an odd twinge of her gut. But this time, she didn't puke. No, this time she was just filled with sorrow. Regret. Loss.

She suddenly had the urge to down an entire gallon of eyescream and watch movies. Or something. Ok, maybe just the eyescream.

Just LOOK at that pizza. It had all of the things. All of them. She felt tears come to her eyes. It was art, and she wasn't going to get to eat any.

It was official; hot dogs were her nemesis.

Junko had been watching Andeon with an obvious distaste, not at his method of eating but...why was Andeon here? She was pouting, and whining, and she even growled a little. So it was with great delight that he seemed to be losing face. His face was turning purpler, were such a thing really possible. And then...gray? Well, gray was new! Why was he gray?

The answer came when his tentacles suddenly seemed to fly all over the place at the force of their own release. Food was everywhere. Junko watched with horror, her eyes wide and her stomach lurching. Keep calm! Keep calm! But why wasn't she getting any of it on her? She didn't understand! The ghoul looked up, expecting to be rained upon by...uh...already eaten food only to find she was suddenly under the cover of an umbrella. Umbrella? Who had an umbrella?

"Oh thank Jack." She breathed a sigh of relief and stood closer to Shehk, her own face looking a little green. It was horrible! Like...like watching a train wreck! So horrifying but you just couldn't look away. So that was what a mindflayer looked like when they got sick? Oh, but the others! But still. A sick mindflayer. Whodathunkit. Gah! The rest of the food! Nooooooo! B-but...damnit!

Junko suddenly clutched her stomach and turned to look away, hiding her face against Shehk's shoulder. So gross!

Finally Junko regained her composure and turned back to the group. "STOP!" Junko eyed the contestants, or rather what was left of them. She then gave Shehk the look. They had survived the sushi, the hotdogs, the wings and even the pizza.

Now was the time.

Junko left, dragging a table on wheels out from behind the stand. Where had the table come from? Where had she kept it? This made no sense. Shut up. Don't question it and just accept it blindly and loyally. The important thing was that on this table sat a cake. A large, pink cake. A chocolate cake with at least an inch and a half of just..frosting.

Pure.

Pink.

Frosting.



Junko was grinning now as she pressed the stopwatch. "GO!"

He was totally ignoring the shower of puke. He gulped down as much cake as he wanted (frosting wasn't his biggest thing, really) and then stopped, leaning back, satisfied.

He'd done his best.
