Raven did not attack, his fighting style wasn't about going first, it was about well-timed counterattacks. He only took the time to examine his opponent and surroundings...what was that black sand all about anyway? "We can stand here all day, you know. I can wait for a really, really, reeeally long time." He wanted that to sound menacing, but due to the softness of his voice it was the exact opposite of threatening.

((I'm so sorry about not posting yesterday! My dad was throwing a b***h fit.))
Fang shrugged. If the boy didn't charge, he would. He didn't rush the boy, but he ran to meet him, closing the distance fast. When he met the boy he slashed upwards, before quickly slashing back downwards with his Jian. If the boy succeeded in blocking either of those strikes he would be tripped up by Fang's leg as he attempted to insert his leg in between the boys to trip him up.

Description: More of a fake attack and distraction, this can trip your opponent thus leaving him/her open. You slash upward, this may or may not hit the enemy, and then swing down. Obviously your enemy will bock the downward swing so you anticipate it and instead as you swing down extend your leg in between theirs and trip them with a kick.

Raven waited for his opponent to get close enough for him to activate his main style, as soon as he was far too close to easily dodged Raven sent needles of water straight at his enemy's chest, planning to pierce him, but not kill him. Since his hands were still free he ran at Fang and jumped over him instead of blocking before unsheathing his blade and slashing down at his opponent with the sword as he somersaulted over him, he would land directly behind Fang, but still be facing the black sand, he would also do more damage since his katana was real, not wooden, he'd continued to keep the katana one of the teachers gave him, and he made sure it was never too dull.
Water Needles

The user creates 5 needles of water, which float in front of them. They can then be propelled through the air by Ki, just like they were thrown. The needles are about as strong as metal ones.

Description: Unsheathe the sword as you somersault over the target remember that you twist yourself causing you to spin as you somersault. You land behind the enemy as you chop down with the weapon then sheath it. You may slash or block as you spin in the air.

Fang  ================================================================ Fang's eyes widened as the water needles sped towards his chest. Luckily for him, he had kept some of the sand around him to ensure he would be ready for an attack like that. The sand materialized into a two foot thick shield, stopping the needles completely. as the man jumped over Ares, he brought up the wooden baseball bat. Tnere was a loud thock sound as the metal hit the wood. The sand then dematerialized from being a shield, and rematerialized into three daggers that all simaltaneously launched at his opponent.
((Even though the shields weak to water, it's two feet thick. That should be thick enough to stop any sort of needles. Also, the moves aren't technically being used at the same time since the shield dematerialized before he used the daggers.))
Daggers Materialization

Des: The user makes his sands airborne forming into three cone shape sands sharp enough to pierce and launches them towards his target(s). They are breakable & block-able but if it makes contact it does pierce.
Sand Shield
Rank: D
Des: Building up the sand into a two foot thick layer of itself, the user can use it multiple times to deflect attacks, the shield follows it's users directly in front of him so if he turns around the shield follows his visual direction. It is extremely weak against water based attacks. In the user's earlier stage this move cannot be used in combination with moves such as Daggers Materialization but it is possible later on to use the Sand shield and other weapon based moves together.

Raven dived to the side and rolled to his feet to avoid the daggers, he had to remain faced toward Fang so he didn't fall for anything like that. Now that he knew Fang had control over sand he could be careful around it. He climbed back on to the top of the fence so he had a good vantage point, there was nothing he didn't see from here. "Alright...I got an idea!" Raven exclaimed happily, due to his Gene-X he really didn't need to be right there to fight Fang, plus his talent would allow him to survive.

Fang pointed his baseball bat at the boy. It made him angry that he kept maneuvering away. Fang was excellent at close ranged distance, but couldn't fight long range very well. He materialized three more sand daggers and sent them flying towards the boy.

Raven jumped off the fence to avoid the daggers and spread his silver ki wings wide before gliding around the rooftop, he stuck his tounge out at Fang as he flew around to the other side. "Nya nya nya nya nya! You can't catch me!" Raven said before sheathing his blade, his fighting style required him to keep his blade sheathed until he attacked. For now he'd just keep flying around to keep away from Fang.

Fang's eyes narrowed, but the man shrugged. The boy could fly to his heart's content. Fang wasn't going to waste ki trying to attack him while he was flying. If Fang was lucky, the boy would simply run out of ki while flying around, and fall to his death. He still remained in his fighting stance, however.

Raven noted that he was starting to lose altitude so he gripped the fence again and his ki sunk back in to his body. "Phew...that's tiring..." Raven said with a yawn, he'd have to try not to do that so much, he hadn't yet learned to use those without wasting his energy. It wasted energy, but it was really fun to fly through the air, he only really used it to avoid attacks, right now he'd just hang around on the fence and wait until he gained his energy back.

Fang chuckled. While the boy was hanging against the fence, Fang shot another few daggers of sand at the boy. There was no way he would let the boy regain all of his ki. If he tried to grab the fence again, Fang would simply continue to shoot daggers at him. Since he was on the other side of the fence, it would be relatively easy for him to keep him on that side. If he tried to come over, he'd just throw daggers at the place he was trying to come over.

Raven gained back what he'd lost since he didn't use any techniques yet, but he couldn't get it back qiuckly since he failed to stay in one place due to the daggers. He set his body to the right before jumping to the left and grabbing the fence in a completely different area, which caused him to avoid the daggers again, but he couldn't dance around them all day, he'd need to attack back if that happened again, and he'd have to not fall while doing that since he was on the opposite side of the fence.

Fang could feel the continuous use of the daggers draining his ki. He decided he could use it a few more times however, before he would need to stop. He materialized three more daggers and sent them flying at the boy just as he tried to grab the fence. So he'd either have to remain airborne and waste more energy, or be impaled by the daggers.

Raven drew his sword and continued to hang on the fence with a single hand. He, instead of trying to destroy the daggers, deflected them and sent them on a different course. He had to do it quickly or else one would have impaled him, and he liked not being impaled, but he could feel his energy had almost completely returned so he jumped over the fence and carefully went down it before facing Fang again. It wouldn't have been so bad over on the other side if Raven had more skills, but sadly he had none too useful at the moment.

Fang ================================================================ Fang stood still for a moment, allowing some of his energy to return to him as well. One thing was for certain, and that was the fact that he wasn't going to simply charge in like he did last time. That had almost gotten him killed before, and he didn't want that to happen again. Raven finally regained all of his energy so he rushed in at Fang, carefully planning his movements. He aimed his blade horizontally and attempted to slash Fang's abdomen since it was a large target and obviously easy to miss, despite Raven's own reach abilities. His blade would take care of reaching far enough to actually fatally cut Fang, but he doubted the dull edge would cut through bone.
