She simply smiled, rubbing her hair with the towel before she reached over and messed up his hair. "Oh, I -know- I'm good... Jus' a bit of sarcasm."

He chuckled, sighing as he lay back against his pillows, trying to scratch his chest with his nailless hands, but had difficult doing so. "Would y'still have a go' at me... even when I'm a bloody octopus?"

"Probably," she said, moving to sit down next to him before reaching out to scratch where he had attempted to previous. Nails she definately still had.

He sighed, "Ach, tha' feels good. Y'don' think abou' fingernails untill y'don' got 'em no more." He watched her strange features, his mind mulling over his frightening future. "Do octopuses even go' faces?"

She shook her head in response to his question, frowning somewhat as she tried to think of what they looked like. "They have a beak as a mouth under all their tentacles? I think..."

"I don't know for sure, I'm not a biologist..." She trailed off, letting her hand rub his stomach for a bit, a habit gleaned from calming down Jamal, and then pulled it back to help with drying her tails.

"I'm just happy I still have only two nipples," absently she reached over to the nightstand to knock on it, "So maybe... We're not turning into the animals... But weird hybrids?" Antony still didn't look happy about changing, but she was attempting to cheer him up, which didn't seem to be working. After a bit of silence, she shifted into a position where he'd be able to worm his way against her aso she could hold him if he wanted. She didn't like outright asking people if they wanted hugs, but it kind of looked like he needed some sort of physical comfort at the moment.

Antony raised an eyebrow at the feminine pronoun, but said nothing about it, especially since she was startled by the small cry. "You okay?" Her eyes fell on his hand, and she tried not to smile. It was kind of funny, right?
