Nihl quickly realized this was probably not the brightest idea. He sat up, pulling away from her, "Maybe we should head back. If your parents come looking for you I'm sure this is the last way they should hope to find you."

"Thinking of a name." Afsana replied, still looking more constipated than contemplative.
Grigori noticed his wife and daughter approaching, and just in time. "Hello ladies, how are w-" He stopped when he noticed his daughter's face, "What's wrong, Afsana?"

Confused as she could be Laci slowly sat up. She had known where their actions were leading. Yet he no longer seemed interested. Frowning Laci let her hands drop away from him, and scooted away worried he was offended by her actions. "Well my parents aren't supposed to come for me till later tonight." she said softly. "I guess I should get the sand off." She said looking down at her sand covered body. Standing up Laci wondered off back to the waters edge and wadded in, still in a state of confusion.

Avarossa was laughing as her husband approached. "She is thinking of a name for this little guy." She said nodding her head down to the puppy who had been so contently laying in her arm.

Nihl sighed and stood up after the woman, followed her down to the shore and took to her side. He took her hand in his and lifted it to his lips for a light kiss, "I'm sorry. I am. But, if this makes any sense at all, I'd rather not rush it? It might sound a bit ridiculous, but I think it would be better- for both of us."
Nihl could hear himself, and he sounded like a woman, but he didn't care.

Grigori laughed and nodded like he understood. He then stepped around his wife to stand behind her, he wrapped his arms around her tightly and rested his chin on her shoulder, "I love you."

Laci nodded her head trying not to think to hard on it. But Nihl probably was right. If their actions had gone to where they were quickly heading. She would be left in a pretty bad state of he decided not to marry her. "Of course your highness." She stopped to stand infront of him and give him another small kiss on the cheek before walking back into the water to rinse off. Still holding his hand.

"Careful." Avarossa chuckled as the little puppy looked up to stare at her husband. "I do have a little baby in my arms." She leaned back slightly "Love you to."

Nihl smiled and walked with the woman back into the water. He was silent for a long moment, staring out into the ocean, before he finally sighed, "What say we head back? I think we're way past due for breakfast."

"I did get you something," Grigori smiled, "But you'll have to wait for it." Unfortunately for Avarossa, it could be anything, as Grigori wouldn't need to hide a gift of any sort on his person when he could make things appear and disappear at will.

"Oh! I completely forgot!" Laci had been too busy amazed with the ocean to remember her growling stomach. The chef was likely to be cross with them. Walking back out the water Laci snatched up her dress, shook it out really well, and pulled it on.

Avarossa frowned. Damn that man. "Let's head back. Puppy needs a bath." She said bouncing the little guy in her arms. She also wanted to know just what he had.

Nihl, too, redressed himself, then took the woman's hand and held it as they walked back up the beach and toward the palace. "Do you know what time your family will be coming to fetch you this evening?"

"Sounds like a good idea." Grigori smiled and let go of his wife to pull his daughter up onto his hip again, "Come on you, let's wash your nasty puppy. Does he have a name yet?"
Afsana shook her head, "Not yet."

Laci smiled as they walked back to the palace. It was nice to hold his hand. "My father said before dinner so probably around five." Laci said nodding her head.

Avarossa giggled. "Why don't you name him something you like?" Avarossa began walking back to the palace, taking her husbands hand.

"Ah," Was all Nihl started with. That was actually pretty rare, most fathers who dropped off their daughters didn't leave them very long. They did so for plenty of reasons, but mainly in case they got annoying. "Then we should have him for dinner as well."

"I hate everyfing." Afsana replied rather simply.
Grigori knew he shouldn't have, but he laughed loudly at the girl's comment. When he finally calmed down he cleared his throat, "Now, Afsana, you don't hate everything. You like mommy and daddy, right?"
"I can't name him that. That's your name." Afsana replied like she was explaining something they should already know.

Laci smiled. Her father really seemed to like the King. So she was sure he would be thrilled with the idea. "I'm sure he would like that." Laci was more then thrilled. Everything seemed to be going to perfectly.
Paha had been looking for the missing king and his guest for a little while, and was releaved to find them in good health, though they looked as if they had gone for a swim. "Ah there we are!"

Nihl beamed happily at the lord approaching, "Good morning, Paha. What in the world are you doing here?" He continued walking past him but nodded for him to follow.

Paha nodded to the young lady noticing her hand was being held in his. "Well your majesty. I need to give you your birthday present. But it was a little dangerous to do so with so many guests last night."
Laci looked up in awe. The man was the demon lord. But he looked normal to her. Other then, now that she looked, he had pointed ears and and sharp nails, were those pointed teeth? Her wonderment picked up when he mentioned the king's gift.

"Oh isn't that sweet, Paha?" Nihl laughed, "But right now we're going to have food, so how about after that? Or you could just bring it into the dinin- did you say dangerous?"
When they approached the house they saw Paha, Nihl and the girl from the night before. Afsana wiggled away from her father, "Uncle Nihl we got a puppy!"
"Here's to letting him know gently." Grigori laughed.
Nihl smiled down at the little girl, "Awesome. I love puppies, let's see."

Laci gently tried to pull her hand from his. She knew displaces of affection were frowned upon when you weren't married to the person.
Avarossa rolled her eyes and walked to the puppy, who now wiggled happily in her arms, over to meet Nihl. "It's a little boy. Afsana promised to take care of him."

Nihl had let go of the woman's hand before he knelt down to Afsana's level to speak with her, but not before Grigori had noticed it. Not that he needed any signs to know, he saw the future all of the time.
"Does he have a name yet, Afsana?" Nihl asked the girl with a bright smile. He was holding them up from breakfast again, but he would apologize later. He always felt it was necessary to give Afsana attention.
Afsana shook her head and shrugged, "I didn't fink of it yet."
