New Zealand - Aotearoa - Land of the Long White Cloud "Sophomore and ready to learn!" "Alfred too? Haha, this goin' to be one heck of a year then." The New Zealander wasn't too familiar when it came to American states but from what he has heard about them, they seem like a great group.

He hoped it wouldn't become a big scene...But his apprehension subsided a bit later as the argument came to an end, and he breathed a small sigh of relief.
"It's all right," Kiku replied to Arthur, nodding. Being a member of the Disciplinary Committee must be hard work. He turned when someone else called the Brit's name and saw whom he recognized to be William Kirkland, Arthur's younger brother. Kiku remained quiet as the Kirkland brothers had their conversation and smiled a bit when Arthur invited William to tea. "Of course. We'd be happy to have you join us, William-kun," he said to the younger student. He looked at the two of them. "Shall we go then?"Flowers are fragrant

 Melody ran through the hallway and squinted to see what was ahead of her. She kept a firm hold of the small box of scones, although it only intensified the pain. She blinked back the tears that were coming up and skidded to a stop, almost right behind Britain. "W-Wanted...to apolgize...." She panted, walking around him so that she could face him. You could actually see red blurs on the package if you focused. Her fingers were covered with bandages. I really am a horrible cook. Of all the traits to keep. A sad look of disappointment and pain entered her eyes."You don't have to eat it, I know I'm not the best cook."She said softly, wondering if he would just reject it. She really hadn't tasted it. She had seen that it looked very burned. The band aids on her fingers were starting to bleed through. She ignored it, still blinking back tears from the pain. It really hurt her fingers. She hadn't hurt herself as much like this before.{{Out of Cake: She made scones, she burned them, she's sad.}}

As she walked around to face Arthur, his eyes widened as he saw her hands, bloody and bandaged. Without hesitation, Kiku stepped forward to examine the wounds. They weren't too deep...But they had to be healed soon or they had a high chance of getting infected.
He turned to Arthur with a serious expression. "Arthur-san...Report me if you must...It is your duty after all," he said in an undertone. "But I can't leave her hands in that state." Kiku closed his eyes and held his hand up perpendicular to his face, kind of like a monk.
"Iyasu."
He felt a slight drain on his energy as his healing magic encircled the girl's hands and quickly restored them. Kiku opened his eyes after the task was complete, glancing over to make sure he had done the job correctly. Once he was satisfied, Kiku looked up.
"Are you all right?" he asked the student. Aside from her physical wounds, she didn't look remotely happy. Well, he supposed it made sense as she had come to apologize, but...Still...Flowers are fragrant

"M-Mei-chan," Kiku stammered, blushing. "Please...Let go of me." He did pat her on the arm though, albeit somewhat awkwardly. It wasn't that Kiku didn't like Mei...He just didn't like to be hugged.Flowers are fragrant

"Arigatou...But don't worry about me, Mei-chan," he reassured her. It was nice of her to be concerned, but he was all right, really. "I had to sort out my new schedule first, and I've been at my classes. I was about to join Arthur-san and William-kun for tea, but...I don't want to interrupt..." he mumbled, glancing at Arthur and the other girl - he still couldn't remember her name, though he knew she was one of the States - apologetically. "Ano...Please don't mind us. I'll join you in a bit," Kiku said to them, and led Mei off to the side. "Enough about me. It's good to see you...How have you been?" he asked with a smile.Flowers are fragrant

*junior*   Maureen disliked being ignored but she hadn't actually said anything to the Asian nation nor did she even know him. So what did she expect. And all she got was a hesetent wave from Arthur, not helping her mood. But he seemed busy so she continued on her way down the hall.
A sudden gust of wind almost pushed a door into her face when she opened it, and she cursed under her breath.
"I really hate it here... I can be ignored at home just as well."
She opened her umbrella before stepping outside, not to mention her dress almost went over her head from another sudden gust. This walk wasn't helping her mood at all.

Melody tilted her head. He uses magic? Oh, I don't think he knew that magic was forbidden in the school! She held the box in one hand and moved the other around, showing that it was healed. "T-Thank you! Oh, you're Japan!"She thanked him. Her head turned to the Irish girl walking out. She had recognized her barely, as she never really knew her. She had even told Massy to stop calling her Leprachaun, but of course she didn't listen. "Arthur, sorry for interrupting. Just wanted to apologize by givin' you these." Yes, she shortened one of her words, but that's what American states have a habit of doing at times.

Kiku looked at her and nodded. "H-Hai...I would be happy to go to the dance with you," he said, keeping his voice steady. He hadn't been planning on going, but Mei had asked him after all and he had no objection, plus he enjoyed her company. And now that he thought about it, getting out of the dorm for a change might be fun. Kiku managed a smile. "Thank you for asking me."Flowers are fragrant

Junior "You can say that again." he muttered under his breath in response to Will's comment. Arthur at first didn't know what to say as Melody returned. He almost didn't noticed the cuts on the girl's hands until Kiku started to heal them. Even if they all still had classes, the brit wasn't going to lecture Kiku for his considerate act. While his friend was busy the brit focused his attention to the state. At first he hesitated but then smiled and accepted the gift, ignoring her grammar for the time being. "I forgive you, I know its partly my fault too. I let my anger get the best of me at times." She put a lot of effort on this gift. Something he recognized all to well. "Thank you" He gave her a freindly pat like he would do if she were a child. Glancing over he felt a bit... sad that Ireland left. Maybe it was because he noticed that she seemed to be lonely. "Excuse me for a moment." Arthur slightly ran down the hall to catch up with the red head. "Maureen." he called out reaching for her arm. "Maureen, if you don't have any plans, why not join us for some tea? You don't have to of course, but I figured I would offer." He looked away feeling embarassed that he came all the way just to ask her that. I have rules in my territories: *Follow my orders *Call me -sama food
