Massachusetts  Massachusetts jumped when she got a reply in french. She was hoping no one under stood that. "erm....oui..." she said. "well its only if i end up not getting some one to go with me to the dance, and so far every one a met kinda hates me....mostly that stupid Irish girl....poo to her." she said crossing her arms over her chest in a pout. She then looks at her brother and Seychelles. She couldn't help to laugh. "what he is trying to say is, will you come to the dnace with me?" she said traslating what her brother ment.

funny when you're dead how people start listenin' The Latvian was quitely listing not really sure what to say, he then looked up at Melody, she was pretty sweet, and crayz, and loud...ect..The oposite of him. He did not have the coage to open his mouth and ask. He also felt a bit bad if he did ask...he was thinking him and Estonia would go togeather. Who would go to the dance with Bashful from Snow white and the seven dwafs. Not many. And the state didn't seem like the one to do that."Ja, i don't have anyone to go with eaither." he said.

Of that chocolate bar I ate before! Peter Kirkland Peter was happly doing his math problems but listning to there conversations. He wondered if Latvia had anyone to go with, Peter was going with Sweden and Finland. IF his mother came back...If not he would just have sme farther son time. He new Latvia had trouble since he was so quite. And scared. Maybe he should help out his older brother....He glanced up at Melody, Latvia had looked at her for a quick seconed. Maybe he was thinking about it. Activate Operation GLAGTGWTTD(get Latvia a girl to go with to the dance!) little brother Peter to the rescue. . Draw a circle it's the Earth!

Cherelle felt her cheeks burn as her face turned deeper and deeper red. "You really think so?" she said bashfully. "I mean, no one has asked me and I doubt anyone will. Actually I don't think being France's sister helps... He's a perv." He may be a pervert, but she knew he most likely had a date already.
Seychelles was both suprised and... a bit happy when Massachusetts said that. "You really wanna go to the dance... with me?"

 Tennessee shot Massachusetts a look that was positively scandalized by her translation. His cheeks and ears were bright red now and he started to open his mouth to protest against her being such a big mouth. "I-I... you... Leah!" he babbled incoherently in his embarrassment. Seychelles' question brought his attention back to the nation and he had trouble making eye contact as he ran a hand through his hair. He lightly toed the ground with his feet as he tried to think of something good to say. Something that would be to the point but would make a girl happy to hear. "... Yup," he blurted out shyly. He was such an idiot.

Massachusetts Massachusetts laughed agian. That felt almost to easy. She loved setting up her siblings. It was sooooooo much fun. It would be good for her Brother though he needed that. The thing is massy is only good at setting other people up, but not herself. Thats why she planed to go the the bar. Who would miss The Cheshire cat? no one. "well then if you guys are going togeather you will bolth need a Disney charaecter....unless you already decied." she added the last part.

Tennessee's blush only grew at the hug but he couldn't help smiling. He was happy but this added a new complication to his life: he'd never actually been on a date before. The closest thing he'd ever had to that was a certain someone trying to grab his vital regions, but Andrew was pretty sure that didn't count. He hoped it didn't count... "Disney?" Tennessee gave Massachusetts a wary look. "I sure ain't goin' as a furry or a prince." Which pretty much eliminated most of the animated movies. "Didn't Disney have a series about Davy Crockett? I can go as Davy. I still have my old frontier clothes so it won't be a problem... But don't you dare sing that horrible theme song. Davy was not born on a mountain top and he never wrestled no bear I ever heard of. I don't know where California and Florida get these stupid ideas for their movies..."

Freshman / Ninth Grader Garden Club Member Lili picked up the computer and moved it to a desk that was nearby and empty before she began messing with it. Within ten minutes tme, a small whirring could be heard from the computer.... Who would have thought Liechtenstein would have a clue about computers. Lili messed with it some more before she returned it to Melody. "Don't worry about it.... So long as you didn't think I was Poland, than I guess I don't mind. It wouldn't be the first, and I doubt it will be the last time, someone calls me a boy... Uh- any ways. I got your computer to come back on. There were quite a few nasty viruses attached to those pictures you downloaded. Oddly enough, almost all of them were on the ones of Gilbert..." Well, it was Hungary that took those photos. It might have been a VERY long time since Lili lived with the German family, but she highly doubted the hatred Elizaveta had for Gilbert had dwindled any. "I figured that you didn't want all of those pictures you ended up getting on your computer, so I basically deleted everything within the recent history and amped up your virus protection so that, hopefully, the next time you downloaded tainted information it won't cause your computer to crash. I hope it helps."
Wow. Lili did have an inner nerd. If she lived in America, she'd probably have landed a job working for Geek Squad or as an Apple Genius.
All this talk about who was going with who to the dance sort of depressed Lili. If one of her fellow freshmen thought she was a guy, then what in her right mind would make her think a guy would want to ask out Lili when there were so many other girls here that were so pretty. She considered asking if her friends Charlotte and Peter wanted to go with her as a group of friends, but decided against it. Charlotte was so pretty and kind that any guy with any sort of sense would die to go with her. And Peter was most likely going to go with his parents who attended the school.
Lili moved out of the way of the conversations and sat by herself, taking more notes on the subject they were supposed to be studying as she lightly played with the emerald butterfly necklace that her brother gave her earlier today. She wanted to go to see what all the fuss of an American Homecoming Dance was about, but it would be a little boring going on her own... Still, she did want to wear her fairy costume. Maybe she could be Tinkerbell. That would be fun...

Freshman The Carolinaian continued to listen to the others conversation while taking notes. "speak a little louder now so I can overhear." she mumbled to no one in particular in a joking manner. They were talking about the dance. She turned to her friend in curiousity. Stopping what she was doing she hugged the girl that seemed lost in thought. "Don't worry darling, guys are shy of your cuteness. So thought about what you're dressing up as? Even though I don't speak lick of french, I'm thinking of being Belle from Beauty and the Beast which, oddly enough is a french tale." The fairy saw Melody and waved back. everyone is called 'darling',
"yall" is a proper noun,
sweet tea is the house wine,
and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

Freshman / Ninth Grader Garden Club Member Lili jumped slightly as someone hugged her from out of no where. She looked and saw it was Charlotte and calmed down. She knew she had no reason to get so jumpy among the Freshmen... The Seniors were the ones you needed to watch out for.
Lili blushed at what Charlotte and looked away with doubt written all over her face. She could be a pretty open book at times. "I'd be fine, even if no one asked me... There's so many pretty girls attending the school, so I doubt I would be anyone's first choice...." After all, what guy wants to go with a girl who looks like a pre-pubescent boy? ...Oh, right. Well, Fancis doesn't count since he'd go out with anything... Maybe even literally. She looked up to her friend and smiled lightly. "You'll make for a very nice Belle. And if it makes you feel better, most of the movies Disney does originate from Germany or France. It wasn't until recently that they began making movies based more from American legends and stories. Just look at Cinderella. She got her name because she slept in the cinders in the fireplace and Ella was a common name in Germany. I was thinking of going as Tinkerbell. I won't look exactly like her... But I do already own a pretty fairy costume that will work."

IF he tried to say no that would just upset Lili. HE hoped she would say no, becuase of what Massachusetts just said. HE hid his face in his hands hopeing Lili wouldn't notice he was here...like Canada. Think your Canada you will dissapear....It didn'twork.

Freshman / Ninth Grader Garden Club Member It as just as surprising to Lili that Peter was suddenly trying to set her up with Latvia. She had nothing against him. The problem was that she didn't know him very well, so the fact that her new friend was suddenly announcing in front of the rest of the Freshmen class that neither of them had a date so therefore needed help was embarrassing. The fact that Leah was suddenly saying that Alfred had been flirting with her didn't help. Her face and ears had now turned as red as her uniform and she was shaking lightly-- though in what form of emotion was hard to tell.
Finally, she managed to say something. "I-I would r-rather that s-s-someone not ask me t-to the dance just because they feel sorry for me... That would be worse than someone not asking me because they think I look like a boy.... And Leah, he does not flirt with me. He doesn't like me like that. Now, everyone, please stop worrying about me... I'll be fine..." Although, truth be told, a part of her wanted to cry in embarrassment and her stomach was in knots, but she was a big girl and had been through much worse. She would just have to suck it up and take this with a grain of salt...
