"That was pretty good for your first time, then," Siddie said. "I didn't hit anything either the first few times I tried to play." She peeked up under her bangs at Willow. "You should think about coming to Fitness Club," she offered. "It's actually kind of fun."

She made a face. "It probably didn't hurt him. Too bad. They're horrid little things. One keeps stealing my stockings. And - are you a monster? Be careful if you're in the monster dorms, one of our gnomes streaks." She shuddered.

"I'm Obsidian, but please, call me Siddie," she replied, and offered her hand courteously.

"If you do, then, I'll see you there." Siddie's smile was much more genuine now, her mood lifted by the encounter.

"Oh! Okay then. Usually he does it in the evening." Siddie pouted slightly. "So avoid the front lawn then and you should be fine. Really, I've never met a nice gnome. I don't know why they're kept around."

"Nice to meet you too." Siddie smiled. "I haven't tried the eye scream, but I know the spookies are good," she offered.

Willow nodded, "I think I had finally found the rooms the fitness club and nap/swimming clubs were in so I think I'll at least give them a try." Her tail flickered, "I need to stop losing myself in the hallways though, I seem to get mixed up in the school. I can find my dorm easy, thankfully but anything else is sort of lost. I guess that's the downside to not being use to such a large building"

She paused making a mental note about this, "Oh I'll make sure avoid the front lawn then." This was helpful information actually. "Hm... maybe they keep them around for the entertainment value?"

The ghoul's eyes wondered over to the spookies, "Are they free?" She asked after a second, remembering the fearleaders had theirs for sale. She didn't think she brought any seeds with her though so if they coasted something she might be out of luck. She glanced towards Riley, "I'd ask, since it's her booth but she seems kinda busy." The last thing Willow wanted to do was interrupt someone when they were in the middle of something.

"It is a pretty big place," Siddie agreed. "My family's place is large, but I still got lost a few times here before I got used to the layout. You'll learn."

"Maybe," she said dubiously. Then she considered the idea a little more carefully. "Actually, that does kind of sound like something the professors would do. Ugh."

She nodded. "Riley told me that everything's free." She tweaked the curly tentacles on the miniature hat perched atop her head. "Advertising, of course. But I don't mind. Riley's very organized. She'd make a good council member." She tilted her head, her smile quirking suddenly. "Although it might just be the first step toward world domination. You never know."

Ah, the ghoul enjoyed a good domination plot. She was certain Willow would consider her the best choice for president, if that was the case. As the ghoul eyed the hats, Riley pulled one of the top hats off of the shelf, and gently adjusted it, while leaning over and tugging on Malodore's coat until it came to her. Once it did, the hat was gently placed right over the top of Malodore's own hat.

I wanted to see what you look like with tentacles. She murmured in explanation, as she settled the stuffed tentacles all around Malodore's head and shoulders.

I suppose this is what- That thought died in her metaphorical throat. -Ah. Recovery mode activated. Alternate response in progress. -What.. you.. would look like with tentacles.

...Terrible.

Riley looked scandalized when the tentacles tore off, as if it had done so to her own. Well I'd hope not, otherwise you are not allowed to fondle my tentacles ever again. They would surely suffer.

Her eyes narrowed at the sugar tease, and she shook her head. I will have you know, I have had a fair share of sugar at this festival, and have done nothing out of the ordinary. Her tentacles were sneaking around to cuddle it affectionately even as she said so, which was not helping her argument. I have been the picture of poise and restraint.

The smoke trail, while it had dissipated quickly, had at least pinpointed the starting point for Robert's ignominious flight across the festival. The starting point in question was a booth fully decked out in purple and swag. Jordan paused in his approach, blinking at the display. Another student council campaign booth, it seemed, except that this one was much better decorated and organized.

And it had a rather large cannon sitting to one side.

I think he might have been shot out of that, Ferros offered.

Thanks. Very helpful. "Let's take a closer look," Jordan said aloud. "We can get an idea of the trajectory." He checked to make sure the golem's head was still decently well attached, then started in closer to have a look at the cannon, trying to look like just a curious, beheaded zombie ghoul. ... This was bizarre enough, he reflected, that he was starting to be numb to all the bizarre around him. Pretty soon, it'd be normal.

If Malodore had had eyebrows to raise, it certainly would have done so. "It's perfectly inhumane," it said. How odd. It didn't recognize either of these ghouls, and it was fairly sure it was at least passingly familiar with most of the undead students at the school.

"You should see them when they explode. It's quite festive."
