Shh.
No one had been around the crane game for some time. She'd been watching. This would be the perfect time for it to work for her. Right?
Riley had no idea why she thought this would work, but she took a moment to sneak over and try it, anyway. It failed, but Riley was starting to realize it was still fun to play, despite the failure.

It had been a while since she had luck with the machine; since it was free, however, she decided to try anyway, guiding the claw to her prize. Unfortunately, the claw grabbed air rather than the rock she had been eyeing, causing her to frown before walking away; she would get good at that game one day! One day!

Yorugami swore he was a glutton for punishment. Another day had passed in the festival and here he was again looking for failure.
He pursed his lips, crossed his fingers and approached the scarecade.
....Jack dammit...he had to try.
.....only to fail again.
Oh well...at least it was free...

Finding this game interesting as for the most part he hadn't hadn't won too much at this game but for the last few time, it made him wonder if this time would he get lucky. He had to know and was back over at the claw booth to just find that out. Pushing the buttons to make the claw move over to one of the rock and Adyian watched the claw move down to see if it would pick up one of the rocks.
Seeing the claw come up with nothing in it. It just make him wonder more, but he would be back later on to see what would happen next time.

Willow actually liked this game... she wasn't sure why when she was getting rocks instead of seeds... but apparently that's how things occasionally worked. She had strolled up to try again at the crane game only to fail again, she eyed the game warily before shrugging maybe next time.

Stubbornly Syb grabbed the controller of the--what the? Did it just fall because she had touched it?
This game seriously hated her! Her bottom lip started to tremble and she rubbed at the tears threatening to fall. "Fine, be that way!" she cried, racing away.

Next was the crane game, which had yet to irritate the plague doctor despite its lack of good fortune. It mattered not - either the seed would fall, or it wouldn't.
It didn't.

After a long brake in playing games, it came as no surprise that Kazuka found his self at the crane again. His mouth quirked up slightly in a small smile as he picked his target then grabbed the joystick in another attempt at the game. The smile surprisingly enough, didn't falter even when the prize was lost again.

Once again it arrived to try, leaning in to peer at the rocks carefully. Perhaps another rock would provide a better target?
Nope.

Coming back to the crane booth to see if he could pick up another one of those rocks. Adyian had to know if he could win at this game again or would it be a bunch of fail for a while now. Pushing the buttons to make the claw move to were he wanted it do and waited to see if it would pick up a rock.
Again the claw came up with nothing. So he walked off until later wondering.

Hard Rock SN LP
Willow had returned to the crane game and was playing with the controls hoping to catch a seed. Today seemed to be a better day for her than others, because she did indeed manage to catch a seed. The tigress' tail flickered as she fished out the seed from the coin return slot and put it in her pocket.
No rocks today~

Obviously her luck from the last game she'd played wasn't here this time and Holly managed to pick up nothing.

His good mood from earlier still with him, Kazuka slid up to the machine again. Since his planning didn't seem to be getting him anywhere the last few times he decided to just randomly move the joystick for once. Not a very good plan and it would most likely end in failure but he didn't care. Ad sure enough his 'no plan' was a bad plan.

Sebastian stared at the crane machine.
The machine stared back.
The machine was making little buzzing noises and flashing lights to signify "your game is over." Sebastian's undead little head smacked against the glass in defeat.
Why couldn't it just let him win?

While she was quite good with a game controller, on average, Siddie wasn't very good with this sort of game. Crane games, she had long since decided, were fixed, It was nearly impossible to win anything from them. ... However. This one didn't cost to play ...
She took a quick glance around, making sure that Desu-chan was nowhere in sight. Then she stepped up to the crane to try her hand. The claw swung, dropped, and came up with ... nothing.
Fixed. Totally fixed. She pouted and flounced away.
