Adyian fished out another seed when he got to the wishing well and threw it in to make his wish. He wished for someone others wish to come true.

Levia meandered across the grounds to the well, seeking a bit of respite from all the activities. With a well practiced motion, the grombie slipped a seed out and weight it in the palm of her hand. It was small enough to not have a noticeable weight, but the sight of it was comforting at least. She smiled, thought of a few wishes, and let the seedling drop to the well.

"Nice to meet you, Robert." Hasuko said politely. "I'm glad I could help, though next time please be more careful!" She looked earnestly at Robert. "Wells can be dangerous for someone your size!"
Hasuko looked over at the wishing well. What had the tiny gnome been doing, perched on the side of the well anyway? Hasuko wondered. Had he been making a wish? Wouldn't it had been safer to toss his floresctival seed in from a distance like how most other diminutive Halloween denizens did?
When she looked back, the gnome had his arms raised, gesturing to be picked up. "Oh! Um, uh..." Hasuko obligingly bent and picked the gnome up again without really thinking about it.
"Did you still want to make a wish?" she asked, feeling awkward holding the gnome in her arms.

If there was one thing easy to forget about Robert until it was too late, it was that he was a trained, and excellent, actor.
He gave her his best impression of a lost child, bowing his head down while his eyes looked up at her pitifully. "No, I don't have a seed. I just wanted to find my friends again. I'm lost, you see. So very lost."
So very sappy, too.
"Is there somewhere you could take me that could help me find my friends?"

Oh, the poor little gnome. Hasuko nodded sympathetically. "It's easy to get lost at such a big festival." She said. "When I was little, I used to accidentally get separated from my parents all the time at matsuri."
She slightly adjusted her grip on the gnome, reaching into her turtle shell backpack once again. "Here." she said kindly, handing him a floresctival seed. "Make your wish and then I'll help you find your friends."
Hasuko took a seed of her own and closed her eyes, making her wish. She then tossed the seed into the well with one hand, the other still holding the gnome. She smiled at Robert. "Your turn." She politely raised the gnome up a little higher so he could easily access the well.

He snatched up the seed, and in pure I'm-a-tiny-adorable-thing-you-must-love-me- style, he bent his head under her neck and nuzzled her. He was milking this for all it was worth, broskies.
"That's the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me. If I was a magical gnome. I would grant you a wish myself. But since I'm not-!"
He put the pin on his thumbnail and flicked it casually right into the well. Then he crunched up his face and made a wish.
When his eyes opened again, he immediately looked down at himself, and sagged. No, the wish had not come true. He was still a tiny, ridiculous looking gnome.
Oh well. Free cuddles.

Hasuko giggled a little when the tiny gnome nuzzled her. "H-hey! Stop that, that tickles!" she squeaked, almost dropping him. Really, despite his squashed and somewhat mildewy appearance the gnome was kind of adorable in a so ugly-it's-cute sort of way. Kind of like her pet ulppa, Pochi, only with less wheezing and weird swamp gas smells.
"Um, it's okay, you don't need to grant me a wish." she said. "That's what the wishing well is for."
She gently put the gnome back on the ground but offered her hand, much like how a mother would with her child. "Come on, I'll help you find your friends. Do you remember the last place you saw them?"
