She couldn't really tell why, but she knew that trying to get mad wouldn't make the thoughts go away right then, so instead, she decided to stop thinking. κϕȡɩ ɱɑятɪɴ ✐...My bite is worse than my bark....✎

Her mind kept slipping towards his words though, and they kept running through her mind, her face getting redder and redder by the second. She tried to hide her face from view by lowering her head, but her bangs weren't enough and she didn't want to take her hair out of it's ponytail. Ugh, why did she have to think of this now?! It wasn't even on topic! "Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid..." she kept mumbling over and over to herself until the word was jibberish to her mind and held no meaning anymore.κϕȡɩ ɱɑятɪɴ ✐...My bite is worse than my bark....✎ [[{{ OOC: Haha, neither did I, so I had to go back and find it. x3 But Kodi asked why Shadow never actually physically hurt her, like by punching her or kicking her or anything, but instead he'd only yell back and forth with her. }}]]

The other kids who were sitting at the table quickly scattered and left Kodi alone at the table. Good. She still hid her reddened face by looking out the window and trying to look distracted.
