With a little bit of his question answered Bul leaned back in his seat and sighed, looking as if he was relaying all these words over in his head just to come up with another question.
"Ah shiet... " he turned to Seiji and Junko as if about to tease them on their relationship but instead said, "Guys... I am SO GLAD you stopped that girl in the abandoned school... that would've ended UGLY," in regards to Savior.
After that he looked back to the teacher and scratched his chin. He'd just asked Mei out and the ghoul had given him a very PG kiss on the lips.. there was no way that could cause mold, it was above the ribcage on the bug!

Siddie just continued to watch the proceedings, wide-eyed and stuck somewhere between horror and admiration. One: the faculty at Amityville were definitely all crazy. Two: It was a spectacular and terrifying crazy that she could only dream of someday achieving.
At the mention of mold she shuddered, trying very hard not to imagine that and utterly failing. Mold. While some creatures might find that attractive, she found it utterly awful. It would itch, and, and - ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Lizzy stared. And stared. And stared.
She exploded a pumpkin baby.
The mere thought caused her stomach to churn, and she felt very much like throwing up even if there wasn't much in her stomach to throw up. When Cricket went on to speak about... About snogging, she winced; she would never! Why would she? That's just so disgusting, that a ghoul would willingly do that while still in school!
When she felt Xiu's arms around her, she quickly hugged back, finding comfort in the arms of her friend. She reached out and pulled Tess into the hug as well. She could only stare at Amrita and Charlie seated away from her with a wistful expression
They, and Mot, would get hugs later. Mac does not deserve one for tossing her into the pool.

Deacon didn't look quite so amused as Cricket continued, a look of disgust overtaking him. Molding would be the last thing he'd want. He was pretty convinced that he'd sooner volunteer to be eaten than have an infection like that.
However, there was the mention of preventative measures, which slightly perked the boil's attention on if one of their teachers was actually going to give them the solution to having their 'fun' and not ending up riddled with some sort of disgusting condition.
He could hope, anyway...

He should have been disturbed, but frankly, something really fascinating was happening in Roch's mind, and for a moment he forgot that the teacher was a ghost and terrifying beyond belief.
He raised a hand, then, before being called on, asked, "So it's a matter of balancing FEAR, does that mean it's more likely for problems to happen between two different species? I mean, some types have more FEAR than others, right? And some have better control of their FEAR than others, I mean, like... built in, right?"

Damien wasn't sure if he needed to know how to explode a pumpkin. as he gave Roch a look. He liked the idea of kicking babies more, maybe it was a sort of training process.
However the talk of mold and strange conditions happening from below the waist did make the hound alarmed, as he touched his stomach to make sure there wasn't a strange growth on there. still smooth, Damien let out a sigh of relief.
And promptly scooted away from Roch in case Nurse Cricket had something devious to say to him and his question.

"Just about." Aisa responded, tipping her head to regard the vanishing pumpkin act with a soft sigh of disappointment. She settled in a comfortable silence as Cricket glanced her way. She was aware of several stares upon her but most of those were redirected towards Cricket shortly, when she started to explain. She was unaware of Riley's intensive gaze on her, still glowing in satisfaction over her latest deed. Not as much as the student that came out of Cricket's stomach though.
Cricket was the teacher. She could answer all questions. Meanwhile, Aisa's finger traced along her belt, mindlessly, unable to keep the chuckles from escaping her lips. She was almost wishing that one of the other riders were here, to share in the enjoyable experience. Connie might not have enjoyed it .. but Eris or Cymbeline? ... Although it was questionable, what each of them liked.
It was going to be an enlightening lesson.

West had paid as much attention to what was going on as he could muster, now that most of the anger around him had dissipated. He was glad - in his own way - to see that Bul hadn't been digested and that pumpkin thing had been awesome, even if he was more interested in the mysterious woman who had exploded it than the chunky mess it had left behind. After a while he started to get impatient and twitchy, pulling his elbow away from Yaya and narrowing his eyes at his classmates. Maybe it had been a mistake to come. This was utterly bor... what the hell? It would have been accurate to assume that West not prepared for the next turn in Cricket's lesson.
Mold. From sex. It seemed no one had seen fit to share this particular bit of knowledge with him until now. His wince was barely perceptible, but the hand that reached down to scratch furiously at the center of his stomach was not. It was a full ten seconds before he realized that he 1) was not any itchier than normal and 2) looked like an a**. He stopped. That was just Jackin' disgusting.

"And even your kind do get a pumpkin when they visit the pumpkin patch, under the ocean or not."
Amphi's eyes widened in surprise. While her sisters had told her a little about the mating process, to think it was the same like the Land walkers was discomforting. She leaned forward in her seat to pay close attention. The demonstration of the eating the student and pumpkin now made much more sense.
"FEAR...diseases?" Amphi's ears rang red, "M...Mold?" She stared at the belly of the insect and tried not to have a gag reaction. Do what? Snogging? What the hell did that mean? Keep what in their pants? Amphi was so confused. Her sisters had not told her anything of this sort, of this consequence that could happen.
Her hand raised. "So...So when people share fear's? That's when pumpkins come? And we always share FEAR when we're...." She tried to phrase it best as she could and failed, "h-having intercourse?" Her blushed reddened, "Do you have to be having intercourse to share FEAR? Do you have to do it to have a pumpkin???"

It was a unique display to say the least. When the orange pieces went flying along with what may or may not have been tiny limbs, Levi got spritzed with a line of orange goo to the cheek. She wiped at it with a sleeve. That had just been a pumpkin, right? How could she...? Pausing- the tatzel then recalled a key factor. The ghoul who caused the explosion had mentioned her daughter. Well- in that case then- it was all fair. It was her pumpkin to do with as she pleased; apparently, that would be using it for an in-class example.
In her innocents on the subject, Levi did the one thing most students likely didn't need to do regarding Cricket's explanation of the demonstration and otherwise. Raising her hand at first, she asked Nurse Cricket something worthy of dropped jaws:
N' just how do ya go 'bout matin'?
It wasn't a joke; the ghoul was serious. She wanted to learn how it was that students went from something as simple and sharing a drom space to developing pumpkins such as she'd remembered back home. There was absolutely no understanding of romance or the like in her knowledge base.

Malodore watched Aisa's pumpkin-exploding with awe, and began taking notes as soon as Cricket started to speak. Disease was one point that the plague doctor hadn't received much current education on, given its hidebound past teachers and the fact that its species was by nature immune to the effects of contagions. There was only so much that reading could do... and while this information was fairly elementary, Malodore took notes as if every word was a rare jewel.
... Mold. Huh.
The thought arrowed into Riley's brain, sent with nigh-masterful (for a non illithid) accuracy. Good news! We haven't been fornicating, so we're safe!

When Yaya pulled his chair closer, Jove yipped and nearly jumped right out of it and onto the floor, but thankfully he was able to avoid a fall that might have squished another insect. And earned himself a swallowing. Or worse. Being banned from Cricket's future FEARhealing courses...
The pup peered over the desk with flattened ears as Cricket continued her lesson, further startled by the demonstration of a FEAR imbalance. He was ducked down so far he had little to worry regarding the flying pumpkin bits, but the topic of the lecture was, at this point, still too vague for the pup to understand the more adult concepts.
Had Cricket actually said "kissing" at some point, Jove would have been wrinkling his nose and sticking out his tongue in a way that completely expressed his opinion on the matter. Kissing was gross, as far as the pup was concerned, and Cricket would only be reinforcing his belief that it caused disease and possibly even panty crabs. But she had said all sorts of things that weren't "kissing" and left it up to his imagination how easily it might be to spread such FEAR infections.
It sounded a ton easier than spreading cooties, and that gave the pup a huge fright.

So shocked was the water djinn over the turn of events that were taking place before her she barely registered West taking his arm back. Her reaction to this was to reach in the opposite direction, fingertips gingerly brushing one of Jove's ears. Clearly the ghoul was now rather distraught. She liked bunking with her friends, she liked bunking with Sharra, she did not like the idea of mold. It was clear by the look on her face that this new bit of horrifying news did not sit well.
---------------------------
Meanwhile up a few rows a certain jikininki was staring wide eyed at the teacher and simultaneously feeling horrified and murderous. On the one hand, mold. Disgusting, disfiguring, painful, MOLD.
Of course on the other..
The ghost boil sighed, darted a glance to his ghoulfriend beside him, then promptly folded his arms on his desk, depositing his chin on top of them. Resigned to the sudden and painful realization that there was no way Junko was going to be doing so much as kissing him, let alone anything further.
To Bul's comment on the events on the island, the ghost gave a rather low "No problem."

Jove suddenly felt something brush his ear, and he jerked away with a yelp and batted at Yaya's hand. He followed it up with a pleading look, as if asking her very earnestly not to give him any FEAR infections by petting his ears. Could you get FEAR infections on your ears? He knew living things could get infections in their ears, but what about this stuff? And would his ear explode like a pumpkin or just get covered in mold?
It wouldn't be so bad if it were mushrooms instead of common mold, but he didn't want to end up having his arms regrown or anything...
Every thought was making him more distraught, perhaps he was already doomed with the number of people who liked to hug him and touch his fluffy ears.
