Marosa jerked slightly at the squeal, wincing. That had hurt slightly, and he turned to see who -- or what -- had made it.
He found himself staring at a big purple... was it an octopus? ... thing, and ohJackithadnoface.
Marosa couldn't help but stare. How could something without a face make a sound like that? He was trying to figure it out, all the while staring and glancing at her face to see if there was some way it was possible.

It was certainly interesting, meeting someone he could not privately research. Of course, he didn't know just how creepy that would sound, should he have said it aloud, regardless he was fascinated.
And, ooh was that another language he heard? "Fascinating," He chirped faintly in response to Maladore, before quickly adding, "It's a pleasure~"
Not taking his eyes off of the odd couple, Cat took the slightest step towards the wheel, depositing his freshly-won candy and spinning as hard as he could.

You're welcome. I couldn't bear to watch you not win. As it is, I'll have to bring Jericho back here later to try again, because I stole all of his luck. She pulled away to show Malodore her spoils - or at least two of them, Jericho still protected the cupcake - and her eyes crescented happily. But now I must be off to this Host Club, to tell Aksaja that I will not be serving anyone. I'll come back later, if you're still around.
She bent in, and touched her forehead to Malodore's, with a whisper. I hope you're still around.
She turned fully, giving Cat an excited glance. And you as well, I'm sure we'll meet again later. I would suggest you check out the FEARleading booth if you haven't already. They're running out of spookies.
She didn't mention that that was entirely her fault.

Shaking his head, Marosa moved to the fishtank, grabbing the net and trying for a fish again. He'd leave them -- it was rude to stare, after all. He was only glad he wasn't noticed.
He nearly jumped for joy when he got a fish, grinning wide. His tally was raising! He counted in his head, noting that he only needed one or two more to get the prizes he wanted.
Marosa trodded over to the next table, already happily hoping that his luck was still going strong.

This isn't funny, the life of a bunny is at stake! What do you mean they're not alive?
Here was the bunny table again. He gripped the mallot, wincing as he kind of half closed his eyes, attempting to miss most of them, if not all of them. He didn't know that the bunnies weren't real, but they certainly looked it!
Opening his eyes after striking out five times, he noticed that he only really mangled up one, but the rest seemed just fine. He let out a breath, setting down the mallot and heading towards the final game, humming to himself in a cheerful way.

Who would've thought flipping tables was harder than flipping pancakes? What's up with that!
Ah, the table flipping. Marosa glanced at the scoreboard, noticing that he was in the second to last place. He winced, and bent over to flip the table, minorly irritated, but it was all in good fun, right?
Marosa succeeded in flipping the table, impressed on flipping it ten times. He'd counted. He glanced at the scoreboard again, tallying the amount in his head, which would leave him in first place. Unless, of course, others jumped up their scores, which was very possible.
Leaving the table, he made his way over to the Prize Booth and the Wheel of Fortune, staring at it for a moment to make up his mind just exactly what he wanted.

Aislin cheered softly as Cat tossed his sugar cube and got it right in the cup. He made it look so easy! The banshee ghoul shrugged and decided to give it at least one more go. She picked up a sugar cube, opened one eye and kept the other shut, and threw.

This was not part of the plan.
She had decided to literally dust off the cobwebs that she had spun on the door of her wardrobe just to attend the school's Open House. Potential students had always intrigued her, after all, and she felt like she should go down to support her friends - well, those with booths. She was, however, careful to note where the Fitness booth was located in order to avoid certain students, just in case.
To start, she chose the booth she thought would utterly disgust the students she was trying to avoid - aka the pink booth that looked like the scene out of a terribly made horror movie. To her horror, however, both of the students she was trying to avoid were here... And while she wasn't sure if they saw her or not, she decided to play it safe and not run away.
Instead, she immediately approached a ghoul she had never seen before - one with the most adorable outfit and ears - while holding onto the piece of paper she had been given.
"Hey~" She smiled, albeit a little weakly due to the presence of a certain two students, "Welcome to Amity!" Her fingers, in the meantime, were busy with folding the piece of paper into a miniature paper table. While she wasn't... Ragey or anything, she was rather frustrated.
Thus the table flip attempt.
Keyword: Attempt
Ah well, just another thing to be disappointed with since the start of her school term. The disappointment, however, was not shown on her face. There was still a small smile there as she turned to look at the ghoul she had been speaking to.

Cady had just barely escaped with her life from the host club. There had been... Ribbons. And tea. She must have been pretty thirsty to accidentally wander in a place like that. They probably expected her to sit there. And do Small Talk. She was still not sure what that meant, but she was fairly certain it had a lot to do with speaking very quietly using as few words as possible, and that was just WAY too hard.
...All this thinking lead to the realization that she still WAS really thirsty. She stopped at a nearby crowded booth. It had signs, and what looked like games. The signs must have The Rules. Which were, she had been told, Meant To Be Broken. But only sometimes. There were rules for that too. Her wings drooped, and her tail dragged sullenly on the floor. Cady really hadn't counted on how much literature was involved in today's events.
Either way, she couldn't muster the courage to try and read them. Reading was...Thirsty work. She tapped the nearest person on the shoulder, tongue hanging out of her mouth.
"Hey...I...drink." That was probably the shortest sentence ever uttered by the manticore ghoul, and in an awfully defeated voice too. She was clearly running on empty.

Marosa jumped slightly at the touch, momentarily forgetting that his natural ability wasn't working. When he saw that she didn't fall head over heels for him, he breathed a sigh of relief, unconsciously grabbing the pendant around his neck, and tilting his head at her as he folded his wings behind him.
"Thirsty?" He murmured, glancing around for ... ah! Well, he didn't think it was very sanitary, but.. if one was thirsty, what could it hurt? He found a cup, miraculously enough, and went over and scooped a little water out of the tank, offering it to the manticore, with a slight apologetic look.

With the large mob settling down and dissipating, Cat made his way back over to huddle against Aislin while she tried her hand at the games once more. His cupcake safely stored, and very few left to try and act cool for, he was now free to steal all the cuddles he wanted.
And oh how he wanted cuddles.
"Gosh, these games don't seem to like playing fair for you, do they?" He purred faintly, "Shall I try one more and see if I can't win you anything?"

Kreszentia wasn't lost but she was easily distracted by all the things that were going on and instead of touring the actual rooms she could access in Amity she found that most of her time was spent ghosting around the actual booths that were made available to her. When the chance came for her to come and check the place out the strange little undead ghoul jumped on the chance and went. Though now she wasn't sure what to make of it.
She was used to small quiet places despite her desire and urge to be rambunctious and loud most of the time but it was different now. There were others louder than she, more active than she.
More....she than she since she fell apart sometimes (quite literally).
"Hallo!" She said to the ghoul that gave a seemingly half-hearted 'hey'. She responded on a kneejerk reaction even if it might not have been directed at her.
The ghoul wandered over to the table flipping game and tilted her head. This seemed easy enough! It even seemed to hold the energy she wanted to express and so she set forth the attempt at flipping a table. Who would've thought flipping tables was harder than flipping pancakes? What's up with that!

Owl liked this open house very much.
She drifted to another booth. It was so pretty and brighhtttt~~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~~*~*~
Owl wanted to play a game.
Games were fun!!
She saw some pretty CATS. They were made of food! Owl didn't eat food... BUT STILL.
Owl wandered over to the game place and got ready to play by yelling "I PLAY I PLAY I PLAY I PLAY I PLAYYYY!"

Cady didn't seem to notice his reaction to her touching him, as he had just basically offered her the holy grail. Who cared if the cup smelled of yesterday's punch, or if the water was a little fishy? It was so cool, so. Refreshing.
She yanked it from his hand greedily, spilling a few precious drops before gulping it down in one swallow. She heaved a massive sigh of relief, and crumpled the cup, tossing it over her shoulder carlessly.
"Oh, oh my Jack. Oh my Jack, you're like, totally my hero. My name is Cady. You. I mean. Thanks, gosh, I was so thirsty you know. Say, your wings are different. They're cool. They look kind of like a bug. Are you a bug?" She suddenly had a thought, and recoiled with surprise.
"Hey, they're like butterfly wings. Does that mean...you were a caterpillar? Because that would be weird. Like, I mean I've seen some weird things but that would basically Take the Rake. Or was it Cake? Whatever, it would pretty much be like," she paused for emphasis.
"The weirdest."
"Thing ever."

With a sigh the banshee lifted her arms as Cat pressed in close. She settled them back down again to wrap around her friend and rest her cheek on the top of his head. She was feeling a tad cuddly herself, to be honest. She drew the dark and shadowy boil in closely, giving him an extra squeeze to make them both feel more content.
Off to one side Ash heard the sudden, repetitive exclamations of someone playing.
And then right in front of her. Bam. Paper cup to the face. Ash blinked, shaking her head before she straightened up a bit more, still clinging to Cat. "Hey!" Her voice was... really kind of whiny. She tried to fix that. "Excuse me, you just totally hit me with that. Watch where you're throwing your junk."
From behind the person who'd so rudely hucked the fishy smelling cup looked really mismatched. Wings. The weirdest tail she had ever seen. Was that Fur? And horns?
